I was nervous because it was my first time getting eyelash extensions. My appointment was on Saturday at 11:45am It was quite busy in the morning. The vibe was really nice and clean. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that I wasn't satisfied with how my lashes looked underneath. It looked very spacey, but when I called regarding my concerns .They immediately said they can accommodate to fix my concerns and they scheduled me asap, which I was able to come in on Monday morning and JoJo fixed my lashes . I was a loyal customer for 6 mos. I Made an appt for a Sunday morning because I needed lashes for a wedding in the same evening. The day before my appointment, they texted and called, looking for a confirmation of my appt during a span of 5hrs. I'm A flight attendant and I work long hours on the plane without having access to service and often times my phone. When I landed at 7pm the same day they called, they already canceled my appointment for the next day, and told me they were already booked up, leaving me scrambling to find another business to do last minute lashes. Tried calling/ texting as soon as they opened and they ignored! I've NEVER been late or not showed up for an appointment, even though they will charge their customers $25 for such offense. I've always been a hefty tipper and have always been punctual. I schedule appointments because I have a busy life and work a lot. This is NOT how you treat loyal customers! They have NO regard for their customers and I will NEVER go back to them again!! On a positive note..MS. Kawaii Eyelash in Glendale was wonderful and welcomed me as a new customer! Dina did an amazing job on my facial. I feel so relaxed. I got a free facial massage and back massage and hydro facial in one. I asked for the aqua peel treatment. This is one of those services you feel is worth every penny. This is one of those places that should be doing facials, they're so good at it. I will be coming back for more in the future . Ive been going to here for almost a year now & i love both the girls ive had! I am currently going to judy and I am loving her work. We tried a couple different styles until I found the one that I like best and she was really good at helping me with the right style for my eyes and is very detail oriented each and every visit. The prices are affordable and the appointment times are quicker than other places I've been to, which is nice. I go every 3 weeks for fills. The facility is very pretty & clean. I normally don't write reviews but I am feeling pretty disappointed in my lashes I received here. First of all, I booked with Freya weeks before my appointment and a few days before, I got an email saying my booking changed without anyone calling me to notify me.. and I ended up with Dana. Freya ended up taking another customer so I assumed they prioritized a regular who booked last minute? Anyway I was flexible and ok with it even though I couldn't find any reviews of lashes by Dana. She was very sweet and kind, but I couldn't really communicate with her too well due to a language barrier. I liked the lashes they helped me select and was pretty happy walking out! But the retention was AWFUL. I've had extensions before and they've lasted at least 3 weeks. I don't have oily lids at all and took good care of them, cleaning very carefully and brushing them after. The pictures below show when I got them Vs after only 7 days. I also got charged more than they initially told me when I went in, but I just let it slide since I liked the lashes initially. Overall I'm a little dissatisfied with the quality of the work and retention on the lashes, especially the price it came at. read more

Booked w Freya and she's been amazing. Switched from Ms Kawaii to Sumi. Sumi is less packed and does my lashes just as good and just as fast (an hour to an hour 1/2) -The ambience is nice bec first of all its all pink you have divided rooms w curtains, they're pillow is so comfy and perf volume of music i can always fall asleep on. -she also puts a paper towel on my forehead so its sanitary and her hands arnt touching my face. -Also same price range if anything cheaper by $10. -Lasts me a good 4 weeks (and im not even brushing them as often as i should) like they barely fall out?? they use black glue so that probably explains that! def def coming back and recommending to all my girlies lol read more

The people here were kind. I have one complaint but nothing too major. The language barrier was an issue for me. This was my first time getting my lashes done and I was really nervous for the outcome. Due to the language barrier, I wasn't able to get my question answered. After, it was nice but later both eyes were blood shot red. I was unaware that this would happen. It definitely showed in my photos. My tech was quick and efficient which is great. Sumi® Lashes mission is to provide lash artists the platform they need to soar to new heights and fulfill their dreams of entrepreneurship while not compromising their creativity. We are committed to providing our lash stylists and salons with top quality products and continued lash extension training. Sumi® Lashes was founded in 2016 by husband and wife Bo Cui and Yu Xiao. With their combined experiences, Yu designed and built out the first Sumi® Lashes while Bo worked on perfecting the operations and customer experience. Soon after the first Sumi® Lashes was established, other artists expressed interest in owning their own Sumi® Lashes location, and in May of 2018, the couple decided to Franchise their company. I've been getting my lashes done for years, so I know how to care for them. Some tips for others: - Don't allow your lashes to get wet the day they are done. - Don't let water from the shower head hit your lashes directly - this is really harsh on them. This really harsh on your face too. - You can get water on them (after day one of course) and you SHOULD wash them! I splash water on my face and very carefully clean my lashes with clean fingertips. It's important to clean them - you don't want nasty build up! - Be mindful about how you sleep. I'm a side sleeper and, like most side sleepers, prefer one side over the other. If I don't switch up sides often I've noticed the lashes of my preferred side will fall off faster. Every now and then I sleep on my stomach - this is the absolute worst for my lashes as they consistently rub on the pillow at night. How you care for your lashes directly correlates to how long they last. I usually redo my lashes every two weeks to keep them consistent. By the way, Ray gives great massages. I've gone to him several times for this service and I continue returning because I feel very comfortable around him. I highly encourage everyone to check out Ray's services!
