The lash artists are the sweetest and I never had a bad experience with anyone. However, I will say, you get what you pay for. I was a long-time, regular customer, and this is the place that made me stop all lash work. The lash artists are not experienced enough yo know how to sustain healthy lashes. By the time I stopped going here, I had lost most of my lashes, often due to too much glue or not separating lashes adequately. If you care about the longterm health of your lashes, I would recommend somewhere with more experienced lash artists. If you just need something to extra for a special event, this place is fine. read more

I want to update my review on Bright Star, just to re-emphasize how good this place is. I am so grateful to Linda for her patience and kindness. Recently I have been getting migraines, whereby my eyelids would twitch when closed under bright lights. I was also getting seasonal allerigies, which was stressful, and probably made me more twitchy. Linda and I somehow got through my challenging appointment, and when I was twitching @ my worst, Linda gently touched my face and in her soothing voice, persuaded me to think about going back to sleep. I thought after a week, it would start falling off. It took more than a month to completely fall off. The place was super clean. You would need to take off your shoes to enter the salon. I recently had my lashes done by Alice. The studio is clean and I appreciate that the staff isn't pushy about upselling, but I did have a few concerns. During the appointment, she was a bit rough around my eyes and often rested the weight of her hands on or near them, which became uncomfortable...especially over a 2+ hour session. I also mentioned that I didn't want to go past a length 13, but the outer corners were done with 14. Even when she held the lashes out to show me I repeated that I don't like the way 14 looks on me. I've been getting my lashes done for years, so I can tell the difference. I may come back in the future, but I would have to try a different technician next time. read more

The staff was very upfront about what to expect, they answered any questions I had, and provided suggestions if necessary. They took the time to explain the different types of lashes available and were so patient. The service itself was relaxing. They have you take your shoes off upon arrival and it's a very quiet and relaxing environment through out the service. When you're done, they provide you with after care instructions and provide a spool to comb your lashes as needed.
