This was one of the best nail salon experiences I have had in over 10 years. The salon is beautiful and has an elegant vibe. I got a deluxe pedicure by Kelly, she paid attention to detail with my nail and cuticle care and throughout painting my toes too. She was funny and talked with me about my rough day. She had me and the other customers laughing. She was very kind. I also got an acrylic full set by Vanessa with 3D floral art on my ring finger. This is the icing on the cake. Vanessa took her time with the shaping of the acrylic, filing multiple times and even filing under the nail (without me asking!) my nails are perfectly shaped, perfect thickness, a sharp square! She also did wonderful on the curved French tip. It took a few attempts on the 3D flower because I was a little picky but she never was rude and made it how I wanted it. i went in for a soak off and left bleeding out and straight to the urgent care. there is a man, he never told me his name but he had done my nails and stabbed me so hard through my nail that it hit my finger and i was gushing blood and crying like a baby. they put nail glue on my open wound and soaked my open wound in acetone. please if you care about your hands or others do not give them your time or money. in writing this only to spread awareness. i had to have the nurses remove chips of nail glue from my finger and it was still bleeding underneath. read more

I went into this shop today for a fill and was warmly greeted by a lady. I waited for about 10 minutes and then was called to a technicians chair. This is man's work is awful and definitely was not the friendliest person I kindly asked him to file down a down that was a bit uneven and chunky. He seemed very annoyed. I also asked him a few questions pertaining to my nails and he was annoyed about those as well. He also did not handle my nails with while doing them. His work overall was sloppy. I've had my nails done here twice, both times by Sonny. Both times weee excellent! I'm kind of particular- I like my nails very thin & naturally shaped, sharp, and narrow. He got me. Perfectly. I live out of state but I try to time my manicures now so I can get them done here. Chef kiss perfect for me. Price is average for the service, pedicure is basic. But for a gorgeous mani, I highly recommend it. (The only thing I would wish for is a little lotion/hand massage at the end.) read more

I never write reviews but feel I wasted money here so I wanted to share so others don't. I actually was mad when I left as I had to then plan to go to my normal salon in my hometown. Would not recommend or waste money coming here. I tried to have him fix my crooked cut thumb nails and he would file for 2 sec and then got frustrated and handed me the file. Lumpy, bubbling, gel on acrylic that peeled off within the day. He didn't file them properly and when I realized he wasn't receptive to even fixing the crooked nails I just wanted to leave. I now have to go somewhere I trust to fix it. I stopped her when out of town, but would never come here if I was you. They charged $63 for a fresh set with gel and it all looks inconsistent, crooked, peeled off and lumpy. Of all the times I have my nails done this has to be one of the worst jobs I've had. read more

I went to get my nails done there on Sunday. I got an acrylic gel full set. The male tech was rushing the whole time, kept asking me what color when I clearly wasn't ready. He was very aggressive with my nails where they still hurt. Oh and the paint has already bubbled up and came off two nails. I've tried calling up there the past two days and they do not answer their phone. For the $72 I paid, I was probably better investing in my own equipment to do my own nails. Very poor. read more

I went to Beauty nails today and it was the worst experience I ever had. The tech..was a man he was so rough with my feet I started to leave. He did not trim my toes correctly and the polish I picked out was beautiful. He had to paint my third toe three times and they only did one coat of paint. I called and confirmed they could do a cat eye nail design and a full set and they said it was no problem, they booked me for a time- I drove about 30-45 minutes out of my way to the appointment and as soon as I sat down they said they wouldn't do any designs at all definitely not the one I confirmed on the phone. I wasn't upset about waiting, as at a nail salon it's typical to wait 10-15 mins. But 40 mins later, soaking feet in water and nothing, I felt they were clearly unprepared. My friend soaked her acrylics to pop them off to get a new full set for 50 mins and finally got attended. One girl didn't get anything at all. Gave two stars because the people that did get their nails done, had pretty nails. But don't be greedy, don't double book, triple book. Update: hour and a half later and no nails on the girl that soaked her nails for 40 mins. read more

The head lady at this salon (you know the one, all nail salons have one--sits close to the door, greets everyone, handles all calls and check-ins, delegates you to an artist, etc.) was extremely rude and made me very uncomfortable. I made an appointment for gel manicures for the first time at this salon, and was told "is this your first time here? Yeah, I can tell" in a rude/sarcastic way after not knowing the check-in process. She stared at me and pointed to her left and said "right there" in a super sarcastic tone when she told me to wash my hands and I asked where--again, having never been to this place before and not having had the chance to look around. She made multiple chastising comments about how I pick at my nails--"I can tell" again and "don't pick your nails" in harsh tones as if she's my mother. I'm paying for a service, I'm not there to have you tell me something I already know, much less in a rude way. And when I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times because I couldn't understand through her accent and fast speaking, she raised her voice louder than necessary and practically sounded out the words as if I was stupid. She did my base colors. Hardly touch my cuticles at all, didn't ask about shaping my nails or if I was satisfied with the shape, just the length. Uneven edges at the back/sides of the nail. Apparently I was too slow for her when pulling hands in and out of the gel UV lamp because at one point when she asked for my hand and asked which lamp (she had me bouncing back and forth between two of the three lamps on the table), I got another sarcastic comment saying "you learn fast!" Just because it was my first time at your salon does not mean it's my first time having my nails done--your instructions are just unclear. I wanted a design on my nails so she passed me off to another girl who was clearly uncomfortable with doing it. She said "she will do your design" and the girl immediately said "no" multiple times and was clearly not comfortable doing it. As you can see from the photos, they're not bad but not great. I wanted one nail with a palm frond, one with fish/mermaid scales. The palm fronds look great, the scales not so much. I would've picked something else had I known they'd turn out like this. $35 for the gel manicure, $5 extra per designed nail. Something else was "usually" another $10 but she sO gRaCiOuSlY gave me whatever that was for free $55 all said and done to get chastised, treated like an idiot, and walk out with a subpar manicure. Design mistakes aside, I will not be returning to this salon because of the owner/head woman. It was not a relaxing fun experience at all. Not what I'm looking for in a manicure. Also FYI, they don't allow you to tip on your card. Has to be in cash or through Venmo. All the artists have their Venmo names/QR codes taped to their stations for tips. read more

Where do I start, I went to this nail shop about a week ago, and oh my God! I came in with a picture of how I wanted my nails, and the woman doing my feet called someone named Layla over so she could see the picture. She looked at the pic and said "Ok I got you" when it came time for my nails to be done Layla was busy and this old guy did my nails. His attitude was horrible, I was asking questions and telling him how I wanted my nails but he kept giving me attitude(keep in mind it's a huge language barrier). Saying things like " I know what I'm doing" and "you're the boss, I work for you." All nail shops should have at least one person there at all times that speaks fluent English. My nails are misshapen and he didn't even make sure that there was no lint or fuzz on my nails before telling me to place my hands under the light. I was charged $125 for TRASH! It seems that they only cater to people that have been coming in for a while. So me being a new customer, my satisfaction was a non-factor. The shop was full of fruit flies, mosquitoes, and gnats and it gave me an overall unclean feel. That old guy that did my nails needs to be fired, and I should have never been charged $125 for the piss poor job that he did on my nails. First and last time, I would rather drive to Richmond to get my nails done. Do yourself a favor and find another place to get your nails done. I wish I did. read more

The lady Kelly who's the head of the nail place did my nails and the entire time she was rolling her eyes at me, and talking very aggressive to me. She also filed off my skin when doing my nails which left my cuticle area with cuts. She also had another worker come up to me and argue with me. I get my nails done at least once a month so I know what a good acrylic nail application looks like, and they were so bad. Kelly left my set crooked, thick, and the picture I asked her to do was pretty simple but she somehow still made my nails look nothing like the picture and still charged me $100. I used to see Lynn, she was so careful and so delicate with her work, I loved getting my nails done with her. unfortunately, she moved to another state. I went recently to get a gel pedicure and a regular manicure. I got Sofia, the gel pedi was ok, a bit sloppy but ok, my hands though! she was so rough! she made 3 of my nail beds bleed and now they are swollen and it hurts. The nail bed looks uneven, as if I myself had done my manicure. I had a pedi from her a while ago and shes always in a rush, as if she wants to get rid you quickly. For $80+ this quality of work is definitely not worth it. I won't be going back to this place. read more

Date of visit: Saturday, May 23, 2020 Well, of course during this COVID 19 restriction time, everyone is in desperate need of some TLC on toes and nails! And I am certainly one of those people! I was in DESPERATE need of a pedi. While my hubby and I were in Charlottesville enjoying an outside winery, my hubby encouraged me to find a nail salon in the area. I did not check YELP(kind of glad, cause the reviews were awful!) this time, just google. One of the first ones to come up was Beauty Nail Salon. I called and they said they could see me in 20 minutes...good,cause we were 20 minutes away. Got there, went in with my mask on, gave my name and was told to go outside and wait. They had their max of 10 people in the salon. I waited outside about 15 minutes. Not too happy about that, they could've told me to come in 35 minutes. Once inside the protocol and precautions they followed were great. I was told to wash my hands for 20 seconds, fill out paperwork concerning COVID and was seated behind a plexiglass screen while having the pedicure. Tools used were new and opened just for me. I did pay a little extra for an upgraded pedi which was a longer leg/foot massage. I did not get that. The leg massage was maybe 2 minutes or less on each leg. I think the girl was rushing because there were people waiting outside. But she did do a good job, they took me as a walk in, but I would've liked a little more pampering after 9 weeks of no pedi. read more
