In an area where there are lots of big nail salons each filled tons of nail techs who seem to do be rushed and do only mediocre in quality, Beauty Nails feels like family and consistently does excellent manicure and pedicures. The owners are wonderful and listen to exactly what you want, and care very much about the happiness of their clients. I typically get gel manicures that last up to 3 weeks, and the Spa pedicures make my lower legs and feet feel and look great! The massage that comes with the pedicure is extra long and is one of the parts I look forward to the most! While I do see walk-ins sometimes when I'm there, once I first started going to them, I learned it was best to call ahead and they are wonderful about getting you on for an appointment time and working with your schedule. I went into this place after looking at a pretty nice looking website with fairly good reviews. I planned on getting a full acrylic gel set for $45 as it said on the website. I also saw there were two discount options available: $5 off a $50 order and a student discount for kids 18 and under. However, when I walked in an employee told me that it would be $70 for a full set and there are absolutely no discounts that are offered. Their websiye does not demonstrate their services. First time coming to Beauty Nails, I had to make an appointment. Rosa started right on time and really got to know me as a person and took her time with the Sugar Scrub Pedicure. She did an amazing job and diligently painted my nails which is a big thing for me because I always feel rushed in and out at other nail salons. There was another customer in the store with me but as soon as she left her chair and area surrounding it was completely wiped down and cleaned throughly which made me feel safe given that we're in a pandemic. Never again!!! The guy does some ugly toe design and gets upset because I didn't like it. Then tells me it's the only design he knows how to do, so you're telling me that every customer leaves the salon with the exact same design!!?!? I actually asked that question and the answer was yes. Then the lady working there suggest that I go to my regular salon to get my design done even though I've already paid them (I guess I looked like a runner because I noticed none of the "OTHER" customers were asked to pay in advance). I showed him a simple design that I've done myself on my nails with dots made into a flower and he messed that up too. Paid $50 for manicure and pedicure with half a design. I visited this salon based on reviews that I saw here on Yelp. Unfortunately I don't feel that my experience here was up to par with the reviews. This salon is run by both a husband and wife. They are the only employees besides their niece who was assisting with pedicures. The salon wasn't too busy. According to the owner it was a bunch of regulars. The salon is updated and seems to be a midrange salon. I stopped here on a Saturday around noon without an appointment. I wanted to get a gel manicure and repair my natural nail I had broken right before stopping by. I was greeted immediately after walking in and told to pick a color for my gel manicure. There was a nice selection of gel colors, and I waited just a few minutes before one of the owners, Rosa started my manicure. I told her several times before she started that I broke my nail pretty far down and needed it repaired. She acknowledged me when I told her. She started the process of filing and shaping my nails. When she got to my broken nail she must've taken me seriously because she did a normal rough filing and my nail ripped up. She jolted back and I jolted back. She immediately covered the rip on glue and stuck my nail on acrylic. She let the acrylic dry and she moved on to shaping my other nails. She came back to the broken nail to shape the bit of acrylic she applied and she was rough with filing and my nail ripped even more. Rosa then ended up having to put acrylic over my entire nail. I wish she would've been more gentle and maybe I wouldn't have had to have acrylic on my entire nail. When she was trimming my cuticles she made three different cuticles bleed. I'm guessing she was stressed about having messed up my broken nail so bad. On a more positive note, it's been almost a week and my gel manicure is still looking good. I won't be returning to this salon though. Rosa raved the entire time about how great their service was and how everyone loves them. I'm not convinced. She did try to have small talk the entire time and I loved that she spoke English extremely well. read more

My girls and I called ahead to make an appointment for 4 pedis. No special occasion, girls just want to get pampered sometimes, am I right, ladies? We picked this place because it was 5 mins away from my friend's house. AMBIANCE & AMENITIES: The salon was very spacious, clean, and well-ventilated. I loved the natural sunlight. The waiting area was equipped with comfy seating and good reading material, i.e. People, Cosmo, and Good Housekeeping (yup, I must be in my late 20s). Huge nail polish selection - mostly OPI, Essie, and China Glaze - some looked like they were pretty old though. Pedi chairs (4 of them) were comfy with multiple massage options. Ooh yeah, give me that shiatsu. I also liked the canopy drapes in between each pedi chair. PEDI: We did the express pedi for $25. It was your standard pedi including scrub, basic cleaning, warm towel, and massage with lotion. They offered additional pedi services, i.e. mask, paraffin, for higher cost. SERVICE: On a quiet Sunday, there were two technicians working - a man and a woman, who were the owners. Both were very welcoming, friendly, and spoke Vietnamese, Cantonese, and English. Since there were only 2 staff and us 4 girls, they alternated between us, but only during the polish application step. Still a little weirded out, but luckily it was just my friend. TIPS: - location is somewhat hidden with the entrance and sign in the back. Searching for a new place to get your nails done can both be stressful and also slightly amusing as it's an indulgence. Finding this place was nothing short of miraculous. I will occasionally treat my 7 year old to a mani/pedi, especially before a vacation. She enjoys the girly aspect. However, due to costs and the relative ease ruining nails can be...
