Update: this is now HK nails I came here after a bad experience at another (closer) salon and I'm so glad I did. The salon has been updated upon changing owners and is remarkably clean. I chose a deluxe pedicure ($45) which came with a sugar scrub, callus remover, hot towel, lotion and polish. I should note that the hot towel was wrapped around my legs instead of just laid over my legs. Something about that was really relaxing. The nail technician took. Her. Time. It was so nice to feel like I got actual attention rather than I was an opportunity for a new "fastest pedicure" record. When I left the other salon a few weeks ago I was so disappointed the polish was so thinly coated that it looked way worse than when I do my own nails. We made an appointment for two people at 4pm over 24 hours in advance. Yet, they took walk ins for both manis and pedis right at 4pm. This delayed us for two hours, which I find truly unacceptable. When I complained, they were physically hostile to me while doing my nails. They were very unprofessional and rude and cut corners during the manicure. I would never come here again. read more

Alright, I am a fan of this nail salon. It is located in a shopping center and is slightly tucked away in the shopping plaza but not difficult at all to find. I went here for the first time right around labor day weekend. I ended up there because I was desperate for a foot rub and new polish color on my toes. My usual nail salon was closed due to the holiday and I had done a quick search for nearby salons. The prices were awesome. 22$ for a regular pedicure and 35$ for a spa pedicure The first time I went I got the regular pedicure, The second time I got the spa pedicure. The spa pedicure includes and extended foot and leg massage,paraffin dip, hot towel wrap, and everything the regular pedicure would have. This will become my regular nail salon. And the fact that they location is slightly tucked away makes it feel even more relaxing. They also have a wall mounted flat screen TV where they will play Netflix movies and TV shows. If you ask them to put on something specific they will. The only negative thing I have to say about this Salon is that they don't have the most up to date nail colors displayed in a way that make them easy to find. (I am a makeup/nail polish junkie so I enjoy the newest of the new colors) But I know that is a personal problem so it shouldn't sway anyone from stopping in this Salon. read more

I found this gem through Yelp reviews and walked in on a Saturday for a mani/pedi. This place is AMAZING! I barely had any wait time at all. I got the spa pedicure which included a scrub, clay mask, paraffin dip, leg massage, the works for around $35. I originally had planned on doing just a regular manicure but I watched what other people were getting, asked questions, and decided on a gel manicure. Over a week later, it still looks amazing! I really couldn't be happier with their work. The staff members are friendly and professional, everything was very clean, and I appreciated that the tools were in a sterilized individual package. They're always playing something on Netflix for everyone to watch and you can ask them to change it. I highly recommend this place and I will never go anywhere else! Not sure why this place has 5 stars. I went for an acrylic fill with gel overlay. To start off, the salon is very unappealing, with cheap decor and dark lighting and a lot of clutter and I was not greeted politely. My service was okay, she shaped my nails very well but when it came to the gel polish, they don't even have a real UV gel lamp so I had to sit for 5 minutes for each coat, then the simple design I requested turned out awful. This place is truly amazing! I got the SNS dipping powder from here and I am absolutely in love. My technician made sure all my needs were met and that I was taken care of. My nails get compliments every time I go out. I also got my pedicure done and it was truly amazing, I felt so relaxed. I was hesitant about getting my pedicure done at first because I had an in grown toenail and I was scared to let a new place try but I SO glad I did. This is my third time here. First was for an eye brow waxing and it was amazing. My eye brows look so good after. Second time I was here for another eye brow waxing and gel manicure. Was just in there once COVID restrictions were lifted. Gel ped last three days before a nail completely was gone and dip Mani lasted 8 days. They charged $5 here and there to die high demand of cleaning g produce, gloves etc. I will not be returning. read more

This is by far the best nail place I've tried in Severna Park. Clean and friendly. It was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon and more people should definitely try this place out! My pedicure was only $20 and all the equipment came from sterilized pouches. Polish was perfect unlike a lot of the other places I've been to around here. read more

I can't believe this place got 4 stars!! I should have listened to the recent reviews. This nail salon is awful. It's filthy! ! Trash on the ground, tools look dirty and unsanitary, they reuse the toe dividers, and they have flies. Ugh!! I should have walked out as soon as I walked in after looking around but I wanted to give Nail Fever a chance since I am trying to find a new salon because I moved. The pedicure was only $22 which is cheaper than my old place, but you get what you pay for. My toe nails are uneven and the massage sucked. It lasted only a minute. Seriously it was only one minute! I asked for a design and I'm not picky so I always let them do their "magic." It was hideous. I had to tell her to remove the design. I think that pissed her off because I picked red for my toes and after she repainted the nail my whole toe was red. I didn't care, I just wanted to get out of there. The staff at Nail Fever always make you feel welcome and like a regular - no matter the last time you were there. The prices are very reasonable and the quality very good. The management changed and we miss the past manager/owner very much (she was very special). However, the new manager/owner is making investments in the facilities and its paying off. Called today (Sunday) at 4:00 to see if I could get a mani/pedi since they closed at 5:00. I was graciously told to take my time and come in at 4:30. It was still crowded but I was not rushed at all. I decided on the "special pedicure" (sea salt scrub, clay mask, paraffin wax, hot towels)...worth every penny of the $35. There is plenty of parking available in the shopping complex that the nail salon is located in. We went as a group of 5 which we made an appt so they would be prepared to accommodate us. I did have on Confetti top coat that I heard was harder to take off but not impossible. My whole pedicure proceeded to be nothing else but getting this polish off. She hurt me in the process pulling my cuticle to far back. The rest of my pedicure was absent. She didn't trim cuticles, or give a massage and what she did do was Very Short! I also asked to put a top coat that consisted of sequence. She didn't apply correctly and I just asked her to stop. I have been going to Nail Fever for sometime now and have recommended the salon to a number of people. Their spa pedicure is not what it use to be. I purchased an hour long spa pedicure for my daughter-in-law and the pedicure lasted about 20 minutes. I pointed out to the person doing her pedicure she was to get a spa pedicure, after the person started painting her toe nails, the person did maybe a 7 minute incomplete massage. My spa pedicure didn't last an hour either. I don't think I will be giving Nail Fever my business in the future. Sad, because they started out great. read more

I had been to this salon before, and it was ok. But the last time I went, I wanted to get my face waxed. The lady put me in a back room and left me there for AT LEAST 10 minutes. So after getting VERY frustrated, I went to the front to look for her, and the lady who was supposed to be doing my face was out there doing someone else's!! I was pissed!! Now I don't know if this other person had an appointment or not, but the lady never said anything to me and just left me back there. I think this is very unprofessional and I believe they are a bit racist - these salons cater to their white customers and treat African-Americans (at least me) as second-class, unless there are no other customers.
