If I could give this store a (-1) I would. I visited this store on 2/27/26 to purchase face cream. The face creams had no price on the boxes. The cashier rang up the items. I slid my American Express card into card reader ~ card reader showed "TRANSACTION COMPLETE / REMOVE CARD." Immediately after I removed my card, the store computer CRASHED. Fast forward ~ Cashier(s) appeared stressed, shocked and unsure what to do. They signal for another employee (male) who appeared and tried to repair the computer:cash register...I'm standing at the counter, still waiting patiently.. I said to the cashier "can I please have my purchase as I really need to leave." I asked three different times, each time I was told I needed to wait. I asked why? Now there are three of them all speaking in a foreign language. One of them stated because we're not sure that the purchase went through. I remained at the counter, contacted Am EX ~ placed the call on the SPEAKER and we could all hear the AM EX rep identifying himself and the company ~ then verify that the payment was successful.. Store employee still REFUSE to give me my purchase. I then proceeded to ask for a REFUND of which they REFUSED!! They proceeded to tell me that I still needed to wait because they were going to contact someone else.. so they continued making phone calls. It has now been over twenty minutes as I witness other customers being assisted. As I exited their store, I said to them that this is against the law and I'm going to do a charge back !! As of today I have REPORTED this store to the ATTORNEY GENERAL's OFFICE and have lodged a complaint due to distress and unfair treatment. And still no refund or purchase, but yet the charge is showing on my AM EX statement., Please Be Careful With This Store!n read more

Beware! I love this location however when I went into try on wigs, I ended up with a rash on my forehead!!!! Never ever has this happened to me and no I do not ever have allergic reactions. Do not try their wigs on! read more

Came during the grand opening. The store is super new so the staff was still stocking. Everyone seemed super nice and helpful. They have a huge selection of beautiful wigs. I'm looking forward to going back and trying a wig for once. read more

If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. I was honestly pleased with my first visit to Beauty Now. I was impressed with the variety of products. A woman asked if I needed assistance and she was very polite. I visited the store again yesterday and had a completely different experience. I was followed throughout the store by an Asian man with a blue shirt. He didn't asked if I needed help, just pretended to arrange things on the shelf. I almost started to blame myself because I spend a lot of time researching products in stores before I purchase them, and I had a large tote bag with my laptop in it. I usually don't bring large bags into stores for this EXACT reason. Following a paying and RETURNING customer is NEVER okay...tote bag or not. Against my better judgment, I purchased the items I had in my hand but I will never patronize or recommend this establishment again. I will look for black-owned beauty supply stores moving forward. read more

Love this store! Clothes and all. They don't have fitting rooms nor do they exchange/refund. Know your size and you'll be fine.

I stopped by to get 2 packs of hair. The female staff member was very helpful.. when she tried to check me out the credit card machine became inoperable. After many attempts she called the manager on the radio device on her hip. Three minutes later a tall guy emerged with pink hair & bobbing his head and side glanced at me...after a few minutes of working on the machine. I said to him do you want to run my card again. He glanced at me and said dryly "no". I felt a " did not want to be disturbed" vibe and so I said to him jokingly " maybe that was a sign to not buy hair". He sided glanced me again & said it's fix and walked away. When I get vibes like that 'I don't buy'! Not coming back ever!. read more

My hairdresser spoke about a shop opening in Georgetown shopping plaza. I went to get some items thinking it was a small space - fool me. The space is huge and there are so many options for hair care. The aisle are very organized and fairly priced. The staff are very friendly and during their grand opening they gave away a mug that's super cute. Stop by if you are looking for hair care products. read more

I come here often. Twice a month (at least) service is usually, exceptional... until today. I was at the register, and ignored. The cashier started helping someone else that got there after I did and completely ignored me. I had to eventually leave without making a purchase. When I got to my car the more I thought about it, it made me feel like I needed to say something so I went back and talked to the manager because I'm not sure how much money that other person was going to spend compared to what I was going to spend but eaither way they should treat everyone that comes through the door the same. read more

I've literally been coming here since the first day they opened . I seen an item today keep in mind 6 of the items had the same price . I brung it to the register only for her to tell me it was marked wrong . They called the manager and she began to change the prices infront of me while I took a video. They refuse to honor the price and told me I was mean for expressing how disappointed I was in the business , my daughters I have spent thousands at . Been here several times as I live in the neighborhood. The store is really big with lots of options for beauty products, weave, etc. I think the prices are a smidge higher than I expected but not too bad. The staff is actually really nice and greet me every time I come in. I'm very happy to have this beauty supply store in our area because it was much needed! Open everyday 10-8 except Sunday which is 11-6. read more

This store seems like a great store and yes, it's very large, clean and organized, but it's very over priced. I just left with my friend and I recommend you check your receipts bc the prices listed and on the product or on the shelf did not match the prices rung up. I live very close so k I wanted to check it out bc of the conveniences, but I rather take the five extra minutes and go on Buford highway. read more

I absolutely love this store and location! They have a very large selection for all ethnicities and just about every product you could think of needing. I dont wear wigs, but the large selection and unbelievable prices really makes me wanna change things up! Lol I could not adore my new friend "Amazing Grace" lol anymore...she is the absolute sweetest and is adorably funny and endearing! This is a huge store with tons of hair products but they are extremely overpriced. Even with the 30% off sale it's cheaper to go elsewhere! Although they're in walking distance to me, I'd rather travel to get the better priced products. Disappointed read more
