Came here to pick up some items for my daughter. The two Ladies working were super nice & helpful. The store should be called Hair World not Town due to the massive inventory. Anything you can think of is sold here. Not just hair, nail & make up products. I mean clothes, oils, jewelry, household essentials & and probably some thing else I didn't see. A huge store, yet the isles are not cluttered & everything seems to be in a tidy manner for easy access. Whether the merchandise are on the shelves, on the floor, or on display. Really glad to have this store in my area. The people working there are friendly enough and more than willing to help you look for an item. They don't point you to an isle like some places would but actually walk with you to look for what you are looking for. They carry most of the items i use and have a pretty good selection to choose from. Their prices are fair. The store itself is not the biggest and some of the isles are narrow but the store itself is big enough. The plaza the shop is located is usually constantly busy as there are several businesses in the same plaza so parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. But you will usually always find a parking spot closer or further away from the store. read more

Completely unprofessional! I came here, was immediately helped but once I got helped they didn't realize they were out of the product I needed until they swiped my card for $200! I don't have $200 nor a half hour + plus to waste. Especially not when I'm on my lunch break! I was late back to work because they were in the back rummaging through whatever they could to find the product only to realize they didn't even have it in the store. I'm very upset about my last visit to the store. I work at the salon across the street so I come there often. I showed up five minutes before close and the guy that was working there told me that it was 8 o'clock and I couldn't come in and I asked him if he was sure and he said yes however it was not 8 o'clock yet and I told him that I only needed two packs of hair but he would not let me in, so I will not be shopping there anymore which makes me very sad because I've been working across the street for 10 years i've known the owners before they even had kids. read more

Even though I accidentally visited this store but this place rocks, never been to one like this before here in ATL but kinda reminded me of Harry Hines Blvd shops in Dallas. They have a good selection of beauty, hair (a lot of hair, so aptly named) and bath and body care products for less; even if you compare some of the products from here to Walmart. It's like a Dad & Son family operated store which is the best part and I really enjoyed shopping here. I picked up a couple items but will be back for more bath stuff. This store is HORRIBLE! Yes they have a large selection, but the quality is garbage. The hair does not feel like human hair as It claims to be. The clips are cheap and don't stay in the hair. I tried to return a set and they refused. They said "I will not talk to you". They do not answer questions. They don't know how to treat their customers and are totally inappropriate. This is my favorite hair store to go to in Atlanta. It has a fairly wide selection & the prices aren't that bad (depending on what you need). The employees are nice // helpful enough as well. Apparently the ladies who work there were out and the 2 men in the store didn' t have a clue. I just left this location. I am new to buying wigs and even though I made a mess of their store, the young man who works here got everything down and really helped. They have a wide selection of synthetic wigs at a great deal and it was super fun to try everything on. I got 2 lace synthetic wigs and a hot iron for $100. They also have a wide selection of beauty products. I'll go back. I don't understand some of the negative reviews, I think a lot due to cultural misunderstanding, since this is Asian owned and seems to be some language barriers... !!!DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I used to be a frequent shopper here, until a couple months ago. I always used to go here after work to get my twist hair for my protective styles and my NYX makeup. One day I asked one of their associates (a woman) about a wig. I asked her what was the price of the wig because I saw the same wig online and wanted to compare the cost. The wig online is $130 dollars, but in their store it was $300. I simply mentioned "oh why is the price so different than online? It must be a different kind of wig than I saw online". And she immediately told me "You don't ask me that! You don't tell me that!!" I had to get myself together because I was thinking did she really just say that? I said "What now?" She proceeded to say "We pay bill here, we got a business here, you don't ask me that!! If you want cheap you go online!" She had her finger pointed at me and was completely out of line. I told her "Ma'am I only asked a question! I'm trying to figure out if the wig is different or not. That was really rude!" And she responded with "No you rude" and walked away. She even continued to say things in her language to another associate as I walked to the front to leave. lol Needless to say, I HAVE NEVER BEEN BACK AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK. so i had to go back to finish my return this weekend since i could not finish the transaction the last visit.I walked in persistent that i was going to get in and out and the staff was not going to worry me today. I was going to have a wonderful day and they were not going to stress me out like they did last weekend. I went to buy free-tress bohemian hair. They had 3 packs priced at $5.99 another 3 at $6.49. I told the girl there and she said they new packs were more expensive. I said fine but your have mixed pricing on the same product. She said one was old and the other new. I said to a customer, it's all the same. So she takes it off the counter. I said I will buy it that's fine. Then she starts to tell me again that they are new and old packs, I day it doesn't matter, I will buy them and she starts literally vibrating about how she doesn't like my attitude. I was so taken aback. What attitude? I asked. She said I didn't understand her and she was trying to explain. I said it made no difference to me, I still need the hair. She said go somewhere else. I went to this store yesterday to purchase some hair to have goddess locs put into my hair. this store was the only one near me that was opened (however in the future, I will find another store to go to regardless of the situation). There was a man working there on Jan 16th and he was fairly nice but began to act very rudely when I asked him for help to find the hair--did not want to get off the phone at all! I have never purchased braiding/loc hair and was unsure if I was purchasing the right one. I looked thru many packs of hair and finally bought what I thought was the right hair. As it turned out, I got the wrong one for the bottom of the locs. I went back to the store today to exchange the wrong wavy hair and one of the other packs of the Marley hair for a shorter length. Today, a lady and a different man were there. She says, Oh I can exchange the marley for you but not the wavy. A label is missing out of here. I said, "Ma'am I just bought this yesterday as you can see on the receipt. You sold it just like this to me. What label are you talking about? She says, there is a piece of paper that goes in here. I said, "well, all that my stylist did was open the pack and touch the hair. She didn't remove anything and I didn't either?" She REFUSES to let me exchange the wavy hair and says. "well, I can just exchange the marley hair". So, I become annoyed because there is no reason for her to act like that and as I was standing there, I began to have a de ja vue moment. I said, " that is just really wrong, because I bought it just like this. that is just really Dishonest and unfair on your part." I then proceeded to tell her that I didn't want Anything else out of that store and they could give the credit to the customer that was behind me and I left the store. Something told to wait at my car until that customer came out and ask her if they gave her the credit. OF COURSE THEY DID NOT! I said, oh no--I am Not about to stand for that. So, I asked the lady if she would follow me back in the store and she did. I asked, " Why didn't you give this customer my credit like I asked." The woman tries to lie and says, "oh, I didn't hear you say that. I didn't know what you meant." I said, " you are such a liar and so dishonest. You understood exactly what I said. I said it plain as day. You just are dishonest and try to do ANYTHING to keep a few dollars--INCLUDING STEALING FOR CUSTOMERS and being ethical with the exchange policy to try and force customers to purchase something else!" She comes from behind the counter and gets in my face, and yells, " Get out of my store! This is my store. What I say goes, what I say is how it is done here!" I yelled back, " you need get out of my face before I call the police and you better go back behind the counter and return that marley hair and give the credit to this woman here. Stop trying to steal from people and be so dishonest. I am not going Anywhere until you do that." She finally goes back behind the counter and returns the money and gives it to the customer. I will NEVER shop there again and honestly I had stopped shopping at these Asian beauty supply stores a long time ago b/c often when I would shop there, I would notice that they would treat you as if they thought you were going to steal. They also have products on the shelf that are very old and they are only Nice ---when they are Taking your money. It has been years since I shopped at one and Today, I remembered exactly why I stopped all those years ago. This will DEFINITELY be the last time, no matter if they are the only store open---I will Not buy at one of them. I will wait until the next day when my regular stores are open.
