The salon is not aesthetically pleasing. BUT, the staff is great, very friendly, and they do a good job. I have seen them wipe down tables, chairs, lamps with soapy water and they sweep and mop. The nail tools are also disinfected. So don't get fooled by the looks. I only go in for regular mani/pedi, sometimes gel manicure, but I always come out satisfied. It's worth the wait. read more

First of all this place is 30+ minutes away from where I live so I probably pass 100 nail shops on my way here. I stop in here because they are very nice and it's very close to my moms house. I have gotten a mani/pedi here with gel polish and it was beautiful and lasted weeks. Yesterday I walked in to get a fill and cut down on my nails because I am due to have my baby in a few weeks. I went from plum colored almond shaped long nails to shorter soft pink squared nails. I am extremely satisfied. Unfortunately I had to skip my pedi because my feet are so swollen my doctor advised against it. I never let anyone cut my toe nails though just file so be advised my review is based on a no cut pedi. While they do get busy they are always thorough and accommodating. The clientele can be a little rough around the edges and are usually talking loud and cursing on their cell phones but the actual work and price deserves these 5 stars. read more

I will not be coming to this place ever again. First time and last time being here. The place looks disgusting and looks like it's not kept clean. I think that's why there wasn't a line of people trying to get in that place. We Walked in through the door nobody acknowledged me nor my sister. 20 mins later a girl walks in and asks her what does she need. I stood up and told them about us and what we wanted since we weren't noticed. After2 hours and half When we get to pay I saw the check in for a free pedicure with a free other service I told the guy doing the nails he tells me that doesn't count because it was years ago. Walked in with my sister and no one acknowledge we were there and it had been already 30 min and still nothing. Another customer walked in and they were helped right away asked what they needed help with. The assisted them before us and we went in for the gel mani pedi and they still were helped first. Just did my nails there a week ago and they are already messing up. They rushed to finish and my nail shapes were all different . Would recommend going to a different location to get your money worth because it's expensive for they give. On top of that there are very few choices for gel colors. read more

This place does need a major face lift, literally a hole in the wall; I was in the area and this location was convenient. Surprisingly the nails exceed my expectations and the gentleman that did my nails was very polite and professional. All the women workers acknowledge me when I walked in. No wait, then again I got them done on a Tuesday afternoon. I drove by this place and saw that they were having a special ($15 eyelash extensions). I was curious about the eyelash extensions because I've heard so much good stuff about it and for $15 I couldn't pass it up. Well like they say if its TOO good to be true then it probably is. So anyway seeing how incredible that price was I made an appointment. At first I asked the lady if she was experienced. She said she had been doing this for 2 years and that she is certified for it. The lady who helped me was Natalie she was really nice but this was probably the worst decision I've made in my life! She told me she would use individual eyelashes for the extension but instead she used clusters of cheap lashes that looked soooo fake ( i didn't even find out about this AFTER she had already glued the ugly lashes). Not only did it look horrible but she got glue in my eye and my eye was almost sealed shut! She didn't ask me to take out my contacts either so my eyes started stinging like crazy from the glue and it got so red I had to tell her to stop. I rushed to the restroom to wash out my eye and we ended up spending the next hour in a room trying to apply baby oil to take all that glue and fake lashes off. Unfortunately when I started rubbing my eyes to take that glue off it ripped so many of my real lashes off leaving me with all these bald spaces in between my lashes. I don't know if she was lying or not about her experience in doing this but this was such a horrible experience that nobody should ever have to go through. No only did the eyelash extensions look ridiculous but I almost went blind through the whole process. PLEASE THINK TWICE if you decide to get the fake lashes its totally NOT worth it! read more

I LOVE this place. I used to go when there was a previous owner and I absolutely hated it. They would constantly file my nails so short that my finger tips would bleed. NOW, the staff is friendly and they really care about their customers. I get a pedicure here about twice a month. It is small nail shop, perfect if you just want to relax on a massage chair without dozens of people talking on their phones and yelling at their children. read more

Almost 2 hours for a gel mani and there were bubbles in it, 3 people took turns doing my nails, they cut my skin and whatever they did burned my fingers, the tools were very dirty and so were the staff's hands, it smelled very bad in there, the gel polish wasn't even dry, it was lumpy and they tried charging me 22 for that. No way! Horrible service and horrible nails. highly recommend that you go elsewhere. This place will leave you furious. If I could rate a negative star I would. This morning my daughter and I came here to get a pedicure. Being that it was 4th of July, there was understandably a wait, but only about 15-20 minutes, tops. So glad we decided to wait! Normally I have always gone to another business, Natalie Nails. And I used to love it. But ownership changed and gradually I decided to try somewhere else. Hence, here we are! Tina, my girl, did an excellent job, particularly with removing the calluses from my heels and feet. That is very important to me and to be honest, is the deciding factor in how much of a tip I will give.If I am not happy with how my calluses are removed or if it seems like minimal effort was put into it and I am not pleased, I will tip accordingly, and may even go elsewhere next time.No problem with that here at Beauty Shop Nails!Nobody has ever done a better job for me than Tina. Also, she is very good at massaging my feet. She was very thorough , friendly and professional.Loved the little extras they included for no extra cost, like the hot rock massage.And the best part is, they are very reasonably priced and local! The entire staff was welcoming and friendly.The shop was clean and I noticed that they used sanitized instruments and cleaned the soaking tubs well between each customer. So important to avoid spreading disease and to be honest, a practice that is sorely lacking in other establishments! I will definitely be back, it is now my new pampering destination! The only con I can think of is that the nail polish selection could be wider. But I was able to find a nice color that I am happy with.
