I'm really not sure how this place is rated 4 stars. I am giving 1 star because they were friendly during my time there. Other than that everything else was beneath subpar. I came here as an emergency because my nail lady cancelled last minute and I had a bridal luncheon to attend. I originally was going to get a gel manicure and pedicure but after she started my nails I knew immediately that I didn't want her to touch my feet. Customer Service: Very friendly. They greeted everyone as they came in. Nail service: To be blunt, just awful. I had gel polish on my nails and instead of soaking them off she literally pulled them off with a nail clipper. Very painful process, but I endured it bc it was quicker than soaking. Then while she was pulling this gel polish off my nails she broke one of my nails beneath the skin and said to me "Be careful, your nail is broke." No lady! Yoooooooou broke my nail. At any rate, even the nail polish job was terrible. Look at the pictures. I can't make this up. Price: very cheap- Remember you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and just skip this place. I wouldn't come back in my most desperate of times. read more

I love this place! I'm from the Bay Area, and getting your nails done there is expensive! So their prices are seriously great. $50 for pedi & a full set? Not bad at all!! This place is always busy, & there's only three workers who I assume are the owners so I would come here on my days off only. They have a huge selection of gel colors and nail polish. I showed them a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and they hit the nail on the head for sure. My dad comes here for his pedi regularly, so the nail techs are super nice to me. Other than that I noticed they know a lot of their clientele by name which says a lot. If your in the area and looking for a place that does a good job I definitely recommend them. read more

I always get my pedis done here because they do a fantastic job. However when I got acrylics the only thing I paid attention to are the cuticles. To me they are the foundation of nails; nails can't look good if your cuticles are ugly. They only applied the fake nails. When I got a regular mani they would cut my cuticles, put lotion on my hands, massage them. All these things weren't offered when I got acrylics. They are great, but they should offer complete services. read more

My aunt and I went yesterday for the first time and they did a great job. I was only going to get a pedicure because the day before I pulled a hang nail and hurt my pinky and it was still tender to the touch but he said he can do the manicure without hurting it and he made sure to go super slow when he did that finger. I didn't feel any pain... big plus for me. The owner and his wife did our gel manicures and pedicures and they came out very nice. They were both very friendly and took their time. The only con was that they don't take appointments but we were there early so the wait was not long. A lady that got there after was telling me the wait is long sometimes depending on the time you get there but she is willing to wait because they do a great job. I came across this location during my lunch break. I enjoyed the service bc I am not much of a talker and the guy that did my gel nails did an amazing job!!!! Oh, that isn't it, the price was just right the only thing I feel awful about is not tipping. I only carry card and on the receipt, I assume I could add on the tip :-( sad to say it did not have that option. Recently moved to Paramount and my mother and myself usually go for gel manis. That's it. I like one spot in Paramount, but its somewhat expensive. Then again, I've been to other places around that look high end, but have gotten the crappiest nail services. I stumbled onto this place after church. It was a Sunday afternoon. I did judge the place because it doesn't look like much. It doesn't have the big leather, fancy chairs for pedicures, although it definitely was clean. If I could rate this location any lower I would. The owner was beyond rude. I got a full set and pedicure two weeks ago. The tips of my nails were not properly glued and stuff getting stuck in them. I went in to get a fill and explain to him he needed to fix them because I didn't want to get a fungus. He blamed me and said I made my nails unglue. This is on three nails. U can clearly see that my nail and the acrylic nail are so far apart there was no possible way they were ever glued together. I explained to him that I was very disappointed in him blaming me. If I broke a nail or picked at it I would understand paying but I refused to pay for something he messed up. I told him as an owner he should accommodate the customer and want his business to thrive. The experience was not what I expected from the reviews on here. Went on a weekend and the wait was insane for the quality of the work. First impression should have been a warning. I walked in and the place looked dirty and they only had two people working. The gentleman did my fill, he was so busy speaking with the other tech that he wasn't paying attention to his work. The nail polish came off after two days and it was supposed to be gel. I will not be returning. Just a waste of time and money. read more

I had 2 ingrown toenails on my big toe and the girl doing my pedi took them out! I'm not gonna lie, it hurt a little but I can't ever get them all the way out myself. When you call to ask how long the wait is, the owner John is rude and he hung up on me also, he lied that the wait was 10 min, the wait was more like an hour! After being a customer of Johnnys for over 10 years I will NEVER go there again... I've been getting gel nails and they have turned out great, they lasted me over 4 weeks but this time around they started to chip in 3 days and I couldn't go right away cause I work but I went today (got them done on 1/30) and I told him and showed him and he said that I did my nails two weeks ago not true! So basically he didn't care and he just lost a customer well two cause I took my daughter there too. I was shocked that he didn't care and rather lose customers. read more

they do a good job on manis and pedis but when it comes to acrylics it becomes pricy. plus they charge very strange when it comes to nail removal. last time I wen I paid $6 for nail removal in acid tone then I went another time and they charged me $8 because my acrylics are "long" like I didn't think the pricing were based on how Long you've gave the acrylics. read more
