I also suffer from severe migraines and sciatica. Every masseuse I have been to always asks where I want extra attention but I've never had anyone deliver like Erin! She has a lot of knowledge in the area and has taken extra courses to provide AMAZING relief for people who suffer from pain like myself. She not only focused on problematic areas through massage, but she also helped me with stretching. Erin is super friendly and spectacular at her job. When this happened, the owner was demanding a newly scheduled date within so many days or I'd lose my deposit. This was stressful because no one knew when things would be normal and we didn't know at that point when we'd be able to have our wedding. Once it got closer, my trial wasn't even scheduled until only a week before my wedding. The photos posted below are the examples I showed the MUA that I wanted vs what I actually got. It was nothing alike. And to say my makeup looked horrendous would be an understatement. It was nothing like I wanted and definitely nothing that made me feel beautiful for my wedding day. When I left I contacted the owner, Joanna. When I told her how I felt, she gave the girl who did my makeup my phone number and she reached out to me directly. This is very unprofessional and left me very uncomfortable. Joannas way to fix the solution was have me come in again for another makeup trial, when my wedding was less than 11 days away. I already paid $75 for the first trial and was not paying for another one. Never once did Joanna offer to refund me for my trial. Nor did she offer to let me have another trial free of charge. She ended up taking the makeup services off my invoice. However I was forced to use her business for my hair or I would have lost hundreds of more dollars. I was supposed to receive my $200 deposit back towards my invoice. $100 on the invoice and $100 after the wedding for any outstanding charges. Attached is the poorly worded contract and Joanna's email refusing to give me any part of it because I "did not fulfill my contract" I think any bride wouldn't have based on the poor service I received mixed with how the unprofessional owner acted at different times throughout the course of me dealing with her. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are so many other make up artists in the area that do a wonderful job. Save your money and your time and avoid this establishment.

I was so happy to see that a new children's clothing store opened up in Ballston Spa. This store is…read moreso nicely decorated and there are plenty of things to keep the little ones busy while the mamas shop. There is a little tent and toys. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and helped my 2-year old color a picture while I looked around. She even offered him a snack after checking with me that it was okay. Most, if not all, of the clothes were organic and most were Fair-Trade certified. I like that almost all of the clothes were gender neutral and plain, not filled with TV characters. The clothes here are definitely in the higher price range for children's clothes but I appreciate the quality and love that many of the clothes are Fair-Trade. I'd love to see some Made in U.S.A. brands as well and I hope that the owner will consider adding some of those in the future. I'm very excited about this lovely addition to downtown Ballston Spa.
