If I could give this place zero stars I would, I left with the gel on my nails drooping over to one side of my finger, they hand filed everything for a fill which left sores on my cuticles and my fingers hurt for days, then after 2 days several of my nails literally started peeling off my fingers! The gal who did my nails left out of town for a week and they refused to have someone else repair my nails because they are "too busy" then the owner hung up on me because I was frustrated, she refused to refund my money or see me for a week even though my nails are hurting and peeling off!! Worst $40 (plus tip) I ever spent in my life!! I do not recommend this place!! read more

So disappointed with my gel manicure, I really wanted to leave a 5 star review for this place because I enjoyed Darlyn's (nail tech) personality. I loved the fact that she used coconut oil as cuticle oil. The first problem was she cut my cuticles and my grandmas so much that we both started bleeding, it hurt. The longevity of the gel manicure didn't exist, it chipped the next day multiple times. I'm so sad I had to write this review because I really liked Darlyn. read more

I wish I was kidding when I say that my experience here was Repulsive, I have heard such good experiences come from this Salon as well as a Family Member even recommended them. I had made an appointment for 1230 but ended up being early and got seated early. Great. Sat down at 12:15pm for a Fill. Megan had started small talk, said she recognized me, ended up going to school with my parents... small town stuff no big deal. When I had showed her a picture of my family member to see if that's who she actually recognized.... She asked me to SEND her the photo! Beyond unprofessional and made me super uncomfortable. As I was sitting and Megan had already started taking my polish off, she then told me she was new and would take longer. I had things to do and somewhere to be, but I figured 1.5 hours instead of 1 hour wasn't going to dent my day. No One Disclosed the fact she was new or taking longer than normal when I scheduled. I even talked to Megan herself! So I was under the impression I was going in for a normal fill. Well when I sit there for 2.5 hrs to again... get a FILL! I was beyond pissed and frustrated that my nails turned out absolutely horrid. It would be one thing if they were Phenomenal Nails but they look like my 13 year old sister tried doing them for her first time ever.... Honestly she could probably do better than what I got. The nails are un-even, fat, misshaped, the acrylic isn't even pushed to the cuticle on some nails, so it looks grown out but it's new. Even the paint job is messy. Megan spent so much time OBSESSING over my cuticles, she couldn't care less about the rest of her work. I understand cuticle care is important, but don't make it 35 minutes of my service! I LEFT IN TEARS! I work in customer service and now My nails are ugly, I just spent money for an actual butcher job. I got these on 4/20. Megan said her books were full for Prom.... I'd look elsewhere if I had an appointment. read more

The gal who did my grandma's pedicure did a great job (older woman). Which is why I gave this salon two stars. I had a young gal named Jaimie cut my hair and not only did she not ask me any questions, she talked about her past high school experience the entire time. Half way through the cut she tells me she didn't go to a professional school for cutting hair, but some program through her high school. The haircut I received had very little style and took two additional inches off than was communicated. The salon has an outdated look and I didn't like how the owner spoke poorly about people after they left. It made me feel like she would do this after my departure as well. read more

Only leaving one star because I can't leave zero. This place is ran by unprofessional, uneducated women who refuse to help you or admit they have done something poorly or wrong. VERY inadequate hair consultation which left hair beyond damaged and had to pay more to get it color corrected. Then they refused to give a refund and played pety drama games and were unapologetic. Getting your hair cut and styled should be a good experience, because you are doing something for yourself and should feel good about it. I didn't feel like I had a great experience when I left the salon. Samantha does need to work on customer service. I felt like I was inconveniencing her during most of my appointment and she didn't even say thank you when I left. I won't be going back. read more

Lets just say I am very particular about who cuts my hair. I had the same stylist before I moved to Washington and it took a while to find a stylist I love and trust with my locks, and that stylist is Kimberly. I have very fragile and most of the time fairly short hair. I have loved every haircut I have received. I never feel as if Kimberly is rushing, she is always thorough, and gives me the cut I have envisioned for myself every single time. She gives super suggestions and I feel as if she has developed a real sense of my hair tastes; I trust her judgment, which says a lot. The salon is filled with locals and people who drive a distance to see them. It is always teaming with energy from the relationships that these girls build with their clientele. I simply cannot imagine going to anyone else!!! read more

Avoid getting lash extensions here by Brittany. She is new at offering this salon service. Most importantly she did not ask nor take the time to understand what is important to the client. She lacks professionalism in customer service from an initial greeting/overview to the client of what to expect and no follow-up which does not instill a level of care to build a relationship. This review is specific for nail services. We have only been customers on the nails side. The ladies here are great! Lindsey and Diane both are super professional and take great care with their work. The acrylics and gel manis last a long time, and they are super picky about quality and cleanliness. You do need to book your appointments in advance. Although I am sure they take walk-ins, it is a smaller salon, and very customer service-oriented. So, we always book well ahead of time. Definitely the best quality for nails that we have found in the area. read more

I cannot speak to all the stylists there. I am new to washougal so I tried them out for the convenience factor. I was not thrilled on the first visit and very disappointed on my second visit as the stylist over booked herself which meant that I was there over 3 hours as she bounced all over the place. I ended up having to blow dry and flat iron my own hair just so I could get out of there. If that wasn't bad enough, I was charged full price and still didn't get my bangs cut! Cute place and very cheap prices for eyelash extensions but I will not be coming back to Beauty Temptations ever again! Samantha, the lady who did my eyelashes came off very rude and clearly had no idea what she was doing. Not only did she glue multiple of my eyelashes together w only one extension, causing my natural eyelashes to fall out fast, she also glued some to my skin on my eyelid! Yah the price is good, but I much rather pay a regular $40-$60 for fills by someone who actually knows what there doing. I for sure will not be coming back here ever again, I am very disappointed with the service. Thankfully I have found a new, very NICE lady who does my eyelash extensions now and she actually knows what she is doing, she was even able to fix all of Samantha's mistakes. My husband accidentally bought me a gift certificate for Christmas at this establishment not knowing that I no longer go here. I have been trying to think of ways to use this $100 gift certificate, so in May I thought it would be nice if my daughter who was turning 40 were to go and have mani/pedi's together so I called to schedule appointment and was told they would have to call me back; I never got a call back. So, I have since been trying to get a refund from Katie the owner, even offering to deduct the visa fee and she refused! Now, unless I can find someone to buy this certificate from me I am out this $100!!!! Am I mad, darn right I am...this is one of the reasons why I quit utilizing this establishment in the first place; they have poor customer service!!!! read more

Samantha was not very friendly. I took my daughter in-law in for an up-do and Samantha says oh you washed your hair and now t's really silky and hard to do. I called 2 weeks before she should have said tell her not to wash her hair. Samantha put lots of bobby pins in and lots of hair spray and kept tucking in hairs because they kept falling out. When walking out to the car her hair was already falling down.I feel Samantha should have been more friendly because this was my daughter in laws special day she was getting married. I feel that she could have put a product in her hair to make it not so flyaway and then put it up. I wish I would have went somewhere where they knew how to do up-dos. Samantha could be more friendly she didn't even introduce herself.
