While I am a young 21 year old I still had questions regarding the entire process. I am of the understanding that I am paying for the Drs expertise not Debbie's, the care coordinator. I left my consult not educated but confused because of the lack of information that was given to me, I had so many more questions. It seemed as if the dr was asking me all the questions and I was giving him all the answers when it should have been the other way around. The dr would present an issue about my breasts currently but would not address how he would go about fixing it. I left my preoperative appointment having paid the surgery in full and still had so much doubt because of this office's inability to explain any information thoroughly. The next day I went in once again to see if it was possible to change not my size but my profile. As soon as I walked in the Debbie seemed bothered that I showed up saying "your back again ? " followed by a sigh of frustration. The way she acted with me after I had put my money down is no way to treat a patient. I was made to feel like any worries I had was in her words "overthinking" when first off this is not a cheap procedure, and it is not something to take lightly. At this point I was so frustrated and over this office I asked for my money back. Not even 24 hours after my preoperative appointment and payment of my surgery could they manage to keep me happy enough to get me to my surgery date which was less than 2 weeks away. Thankfully I realized it was best to take my business elsewhere

I am now 10 days post-op a breast reduction/lift and felt it was important to leave a review…read moredetailing my experience. I decided to disclose my specific procedure because I could find no reviews by other patients who had the same surgery; which would have been helpful to me when doing my own research. Dr. Stevens was recommended by a friend who had multiple procedures under his care and was consistently happy with her results. Just a little background on me - I am a mother of two, who spent a solid two years of my life breastfeeding. Fortunately, I also have medical background that was helpful during this process. Surgery is a big decision and I consider myself to be a person with exceptionally high standards, which is why I researched everything in depth beforehand. After educating myself as best I could about the procedure and reading reviews online, I took the plunge and made an appointment with Kendel, the physician liaison. Kendel was friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and provided realistic expectations. I met with Dr. Stevens thereafter and was pleasantly surprised by his honesty and down-to-earth nature. He was very professional which I feel is important when dealing with a topic so sensitive and personal. After I met with him, I felt confident about the surgery and had a good idea of what to expect. The day of my surgery I was nervous, but after meeting with Dr. Stevens and the anesthetist felt more at ease. Dr. Stevens had a calm, "business as usual" demeanor that made me even more comfortable. Before I knew it, I was waking up in recovery and ready to go home! The pain was minimal, (nothing compared to a c-section for those of you who have had one). I was given a number to call if I needed anything at any time of day or night. Dr. Stevens called me himself the night of my surgery to make sure I was okay, which I thought was pretty awesome and accurately depicts the sort of person he really is - the caring, compassionate sort. On the third day after my surgery my bandages were removed to reveal perfect, perky breasts. I nearly cried because I felt like I was seeing what I should have been born with. My result was exactly what I had asked for and even exceeded my own expectations. I already knew to expect scarring, (there is no way around that with this type of procedure) but his suturing is wonderful and I expect the scars to fade significantly with time. I am physically more comfortable and overall a happier person! My confidence has been restored! THANK YOU Dr. Stevens from the bottom of my heart. You have changed my life for the better and I would not hesitate to return to you should I ever decide to have another procedure. I would recommend you to anyone considering a surgery.

When the receptionist asked what procedure I was interested in, I explained the situation and mentioned that my previous surgeon had retired. The receptionist immediately interrupted me and stated that my surgeon was not retired. I attempted several times to clarify who I was referring to and provide additional information, but I was repeatedly interrupted and was not given an opportunity to finish explaining my situation. The only response I was ultimately able to hear was, "We are not taking any new patients." I understand that a medical office may not be accepting new patients; however, I believe the way this information is communicated is equally important. I found the interaction unnecessarily rude and dismissive, particularly when I was simply trying to ask a question and provide clarification. I ultimately said, "Well, thanks for not letting me speak," because I felt I was not being given an opportunity to communicate. As a potential new patient, this interaction was concerning. It left me wondering how patients are treated when they have questions, concerns, or complications that require additional communication and support. First impressions matter, especially in healthcare, and I hope the office considers providing staff with training on professional and respectful communication with prospective and current patients.

Kudos to the Visalia Ulta team!…read more My daughter and I stopped in looking for guidance on selecting the right products for her first makeup routine. She had an idea of the look she wanted but wasn't sure which brands would be the best fit for her skin type. DJ helped her narrow down everything she needed, and what truly made my heart skip a beat was when she said, "This is what I buy for my nieces." That personal touch meant so much. She even went above and beyond by checking the back for a product that wasn't on the shelf, and she found it for us. When it was time to check out, Emma noticed that we had spent enough to receive the adorable summer tote promotion. Unfortunately, they were out on the sales floor. Daisy kindly went to the back to see if there were any left, and sure enough, she came back with a box. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. Thank you, DJ, Emma, and Daisy, for making my daughter's first makeup shopping experience so special. Your kindness, attentiveness, and exceptional customer service did not go unnoticed!

While we understand that inventory and coupon exclusions are sometimes beyond the control of store employees, the way those situations were handled left us disappointed. During our visit, we learned that a promotional gift we intended to redeem was out of stock and that a coupon we planned to use was not valid for the products we selected. While these circumstances were inconvenient, they were not the primary issue. We were completely understanding about both situations and would have been satisfied with a courteous explanation. What was concerning was the tone and attitude displayed by the two employees we interacted with, one of whom identified herself as Maranda and the other who may have been a manager. Rather than receiving friendly and helpful customer service, we felt we were met with a snide and somewhat sarcastic demeanor. The communication came across as dismissive and unprofessional, which made an otherwise simple shopping trip uncomfortable. Customer service is often what distinguishes a great retail experience from a poor one. Unfortunately, the interactions we had today did not reflect the level of service we would expect from a national retailer like Ulta Beauty. My hope in sharing this feedback is not to criticize individuals, but rather to encourage refresher training on customer service, professionalism, and customer interactions. A little kindness and courtesy can go a long way, especially when helping customers navigate out-of-stock items or coupon restrictions. I hope management takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve the customer experience for future guests.

From the beginning, I expected a professional, diligent approach -- especially since my original implant surgery with another surgeon left my breasts with a clean, symmetrical finish and a well-done outline around the nipple area. In contrast, this experience felt careless. After the explant, I noticed that the nipples were not closed out with any attention to detail. The stitching was uneven and poorly done, and it seems like the surgeon completely ignored the original clean outline left by my previous doctor -- something that should have been very simple to follow. Now I'm left with deformed nipples and scars that look rushed and unprofessional. What's worse is the energy at my final post-op appointment. When he unwrapped the bandages, he looked at me and said, "This is what you wanted," in a very condescending and dismissive tone. That interaction made me feel like my choice to remove my implants was not respected -- like I was being punished for it. This has been physically and emotionally upsetting. I trusted this doctor to handle my body with care and respect, and I did not receive that. I strongly urge others to research thoroughly and ensure they're choosing a surgeon who not only has skill, but also compassion. I hope you DO NOT go to Dr. Lechtman for implant removal surgery. I should have been a lot more careful and considered the mistake he made 9 months ago to another client of his - please read her review as well. Please go to Google for pictures of the stitching of my nipples done by Lechtman :(
