She has glammed me up for family photos, graduation photos, weddings, and countless other special events, and she has never disappointed. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is how incredibly accommodating she is. Many of my events require me to be ready before sunrise, and she's met me at the crack of dawn more times than I can count--sometimes as early as 4:00 AM! Finding someone who is not only willing to do that but also brings such positive energy that early in the morning is priceless. Her studio is so cozy and welcoming that it honestly feels like you're hanging out with a good friend while getting pampered. The conversation always flows naturally, and the entire experience is relaxing and fun instead of rushed or stressful. I also love that she's collaborative. I'll usually bring inspiration photos, and she'll work with me to create a look that fits my style while offering her professional input. She really listens to what you want and somehow makes it even better. And let's talk about how well her work lasts! At my most recent appointment in April for a family wedding, my hair and makeup were finished between 4:00 and 6:00 AM. I then drove from the Rowland Heights area all the way to Las Vegas, spent the entire day and evening celebrating, and my hair and makeup still looked amazing by the end of the night. No touch-ups, no worrying--it held up beautifully through a very long day. Michelle is incredibly talented, dependable, and genuinely one of the sweetest people you'll meet. If you are familiar with the industry: she got a better booking that would make her more money and waited last minute to try and force my daughter's appoint to 10 hours before her event. And she's a bad liar...you know the type: they ramble, they over explain, etc. Simply put: she does business dirty. Unless you have a wedding with a large party that will make her more money she won't be loyal to your booking. Lastly, it took over 12 hours from the time it was confirmed I would not be using her, a venmo request, and a text to get my deposit refunded while I scrambled to find a replacement. We booked someone who came in on their birthday weekend when she heard what happened. My daughter looked STUNNING. Girl, bye. Have the life you deserve. Does dirty business.
