Listen, I don't usually write reviews, but this place is def worth writing for. My sister recently moved, and visited her. I was in dire need of a haircut, and decided to give this salon a try. It's been a year, and Jeanie brought my hair back to life from the dead. She's is so sweet and so chill! She gave me exactly what I asked for. Salon One 9 never fails to impress me. They always do a wonderful job and they are all so sweet. I came for a haircut and had picked up some hair products on my way out. They are super helpful with providing me with products to help protect and strengthen my hair. This is the place to go! Both bottles were $25 dollars. I believe the cut is $74. Was immediately greeted up front and asked if I wanted a snack or something to drink while I waited. My hair is naturally black and I went in with absolutely no idea what to do. All I knew is that I wanted to dye my hair something cool and Jeanne helped with that by giving me some recommendations and also her personal opinion in what would look good with my hair. I want to start off by saying that I was so frustrated with my hair today and wanted an appt asap. Within 2 mins I received a response from this salon that they were able to take me in as a walk in. A great first start. Communicate and compromising. Then the lady that washed my hair was so nice and gently shampooed my hair (other stylist wet you everywhere and are so rough). Finally, I met Jeanne. She is incredible! Talked me through my cut, what I needed, and answered every question I had. My hair was incredibly damaged and she brought it back to life! Cute place, close to my house. Hair needed a lot of work done. I went in there with a pre quote you get online depending on what you need. I needed a hair cut and some bleach on my hair. I got there and Michelle was so great and helpful on what I needed. I did have a problem with pricing. Once there she reevaluated rhe price and told me it was 100 something once done she charged me 200 plus excluding the deposit to book online. I ended paying over $300. I would only do this once every 5 years because they do a good job but it's way pricier than other places. If your a regular once a month maintenance I would recommend somewhere cheaper and know your pricing beforehand. Other than that it was a great experience, Michelle was nice and helpful on what I needed. Process took about 4 hours. She provided me with some snacks since I was there for a while. She recommended some shampoos to up keep my hair and took pictures of the finished due. Thank you Michelle! read more

Didn't get my hair colored right then had to do corrections but still overcharging me. It's super disrespectful and disappointing to pay the price $630 for the work that required me to go back again , they said it was cheaper than my quote then it became almost double price . Are you rubbing me for a hair session ? Seriously ?! They said it would be free correction next time but it's just ridiculous that I had to go through this. Totally unhappy experience and I won't go get my hair done here again. It's just a nightmare to pay a lot for a bad treatment. The lady charged me with that amount I just want to tell you , I may not argue with you but the way you treat customer and how you operate the business, I wish you good luck to see how many return customers you would have . I don't like to leave bad reviews but I feel that this is definitely valid. I came in last week to get my hair done for the first time. It's been over 5 years since I had my hair cut or dyed. I made sure I did my research through Instagram & previous yelp ratings. Although I had several options & received numerous replies from other local salons, I thought I had made a good choice. But a week later & I'm hating my hair & regretting my decision to come here. I asked for ash blonde balayage & spent $450 + tip + $30 on purple shampoo that was recommended. Now my hair looks horrible & I don't want to spend anymore money to fix it. I probably would've done a better job with a box dye kit. read more

I just wanted to come down here and share my experience with Jeanne and her assistant Chanel. My daughter, mom, and myself got our make up and hair done for my brother's wedding. From booking the appointment from the last lip color everything went well and smooth. Jeanne had good communication when she would arrive. We finished all in time and didn't feel rush at all. Our hair lasted all night and even the next day if we wanted to, make up was great and settled all day as well. She gives you a little touch up kit if needed to use during the day. We really didn't have to use it but was nice to have for "just in case". It was my daughters first experience getting herself all dolled up and she loved it. I requested a haircut and the appointment process is easy. Adriana executes great hair every time and is knowledgeable about hair and everything that goes along with that. My haircut was beautiful she really does a great job and is precise with what you want. The salon was busy on a Sunday afternoon but I was in and out in less than a hour for a wash, cut and blow dry. Made an appointment the day before for a dry hair styling for a wedding the next day that was 10 minutes away at Pacific Palms. Driving straight there from out of town, I arrived 15 min late and called an hour before to let them know. Very understanding. There are three shopping centers right next to each other not connected and I didn't notice any signs outside but I found it with the Yelp address. There was some confusion as they thought I had booked a wash and dry but we cleared that up and went with the special occasion hair price $90. She quickly curled my hair in under an hour and pinned it up for me as I had a two day wedding to attend. I got so many compliments with it up that night.
