I wouldn't go back a second time. We tried this place after reading so many good reviews but unfortunately that wasn't our experience. Pros: The nail tech was really nice. The price is really affordable (but also you get what you pay for!) Cons: It didn't appear that the instruments were sterilized. She spritzed some rubbing alcohol on them quickly and continued using them. I asked for my nails to be squared, however, what I got was all different shapes. Some were square, some rounded, some I'm not even sure what to categorize it as. read more

They were pretty quick i was out of there im an hour & 20 min! I read from some reviews that they serve wine however i was not offered any... I use to love going into this nail salon, the greeter was always friendly and they use to be very accommodating now the customer service is terrible. They put us in their couple area and we both had pedicures. It was fantastic! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They offered us beverages as soon as we were seated. This establishment is very clean and cute. And the prices are bery reasonable. They even have a customer loyalty program. I visited the salon today for a Mani & pedi and the service was still A+. Hannah did a great job on my hands and feet. I will be requesting her every time I go. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

I wasn't allowed to give zero stars, so they will get this one. My experience was absolutely horrible. I need a nailery to get a refill on a Sunday. My daughter recommended this place. She called, spoke with Terri, and asked if I could come in. Once my daughter was told yes, she agreed that I would be there in 10 minutes. I live 10 minutes away so needless to say, I was not there in 10 minutes. When I arrived in maybe 15 minutes, of course the conversation was that I wasn't there in 10 minutes. However, the owner/manager agreed to refill my nails. She told me to "pick my color." I sat down and began looking at colors for approximately 15 minutes. During this time, Terri (manager/owner) continued applying her makeup. So, I sat and waited for her to finish. Once finished, Terri came over to me and asked me if I could come back tomorrow to get my nails done because she had a family dinner to attend. I told her no, that I couldn't come back tomorrow and explained to her that I waited more than 15 minutes for her because she was applying her makeup. Terri then walked away from me and began flat ironing her hair. I refused to give my hard earned money to someone that I have to argue with or beg for their services. Therefore, I left. And that horrible incident turned out to be a blessing. I drove further down Castor Ave to Amy's by the Rite Aid Pharmacy in the 6500 block of Castor Ave. The service was great! I had a wonderful experience at this nail salon. This salon is decorated very nicely. It is unlike any nail salon around the area because of how it looks inside. Instead of the walls being decorated with nails related picture, they mirrors and a iconic picture of marilyn monroe. There is also a wide selections of nail color, both gel and normal polishes. The hair salon section of this salon looks organized as well. One more thing, the staff here is nice, young, and attractive. They're willing to strike conversations with you if you're in the mood for the company. Now for my experience, I brought my own cuticle cutter because I'm a not hesitant in using theirs since many salon in the area doesn't have the sterilizing machine but they have it so that's a big plus. They have this interesting stand that lifts my feet to a level that would be easy for her to exfoliate my feet. The women who did my pedicure put the effort into the massage portion of it. I've been to salons where they do it for maybe 30 seconds but she spends a few minutes per leg. The pressure she applies is also nice and helps my sore feet. While I was there, I saw that they do piercing as well so I decided it was time to get another one. I had a nice time laughing and having fun with the ladies there. They also gave me two voucher for free manicure which was very nice of them. read more

Was desperately looking for a nail salon in the area and found this hidden gem on Castor Ave. My best friend and I walked in and was immediately greeted by a very bubbly and friendly employee. The interior decor is very modern and fresh. I got a regular pedicure ($20) and a full gel set ($35?). The guy who did my pedicure was nice did a good job on my baby toes. The nail technician who did my nails was exceptional. I am very picky especially with how thick the acrylic and gel is together and with the way my nails are shaped but my nail technician killed it. I got an almond shape and every one of them turned out perfect. My best friend got coffin nails and got chrome. (They have chrome and mood polish!!) Now keep in mind that my best friend is EXTREMELY picky with her nails and hard to please. At the end of the service, when we were outside the nail salon, she told me, "this is now my new to go place". And it is also my new to go place nail salon. read more

I went to this salon for a birthday surprise and for myself since I was treating. The visual of the place is really cute. It's chic' and updated with style. Most nail salons look old and outdated. We were seated in a private area with music for us and it was so nice. Also given wine to celebrate the birthday theme! They provided the best service in mani pedis along with the $5 spa treatment cream which I would recommend to anyone! It makes it completely worth it. After seeing so many great reviews I wanted to visit this establishment but I am not impressed for many reasons. The first time I went was an okay experience. My nail tech was easily offended; when I told him he put 3 nail tips on crooked, he got angry and blamed it on my fingers not being straight and asked another tech to finish my nails but I wanted to give this business another try. On my second visit I got a pedicure and after the tech used nail clipper set and foot scrub on me, he gave the items to the tech sitting next to him to use on the customer sitting next to me WITHOUT sterilizing. I got the quickest refill ever and was left with acrylic all over my hands. It was a rush job and my gel refill barely lasted a week. I wanted to like this place especially after seeing so many great reviews but personally I would NOT recommend anyone to go here. The search for the perfect nail salon continues. read more
