I have been searching for a Beauty Supply store for a wig for a YEAR!!!! I live in Buena Park and didn't want to drive to LA county so hubby googled this store and we went today!!!! OMG from the minute I walked in store I knew I would find the perfect Wig!! Greeted with a smile and acknowledged soon as we stepped inside!!! Very clean and well stocked!!! When I was asked if they could help, told them I was looking for a short pixie style wig, brown in color and I found one in less than five minutes, when I tried on Hubby gave a firm YES, then I was told if I buy one the second is half off and I found Two wonderful wigs, one was $70 and other was $20, she also suggested combs so the wig doesn't move and showed me how to do it!!! They let you try on 3 wigs with a $5 deposit which you get back when done shopping!!! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!!! This will be my go to place for all Beauty supplies!!! This was my 2nd trip there n I can definitely say this wig store is the best place to buy a wig. The owner was a very friendly Korean dude, he used to charge a small fee for you to try them on n get credit back when you buy but it was free now, 1 lady in front of me must have tried 7, I'm not so greedy I only tried 2. This store also sell cosmetics, I bought my waterproof eye pencils here, everything is about 30% cheaper than other stores, dude is a magician to sell them so cheap. Look at the blonde wig I was 100% in love w how it looked but it was too blonde for me. It was so real, 100% human hair how could that be, styled like Marilyn Monroe n priced at $70, I bought in Little Saigon n it was $150 each after 3 wears they looked messed up so I lost $300, the fake hair is more durable. It was a shame he carried mostly blonde wigs? Redheads too? It made no sense we're not in Sweden! I was encouraged to buy n dye it as it was real hair but it was like opening a pandora box so I gave up. I cracked up when I called the factory yep, these beautiful wigs were made by African Americans but they only sold wholesale. I almost gave up but on the way out found this synthetic wig it looked so natural n so beautiful, I'm gonna look like Tina Turner lol (or Michelle ma belle) with their 100 wigs. So this store deserves 6 stars, I'll tell the hospital oncology ward about this store so cancer patients can buy wigs. I'm going to donate my useless human hair wigs. I was looking for 18 or 20 inch hair extensions and I yelped the area. I found this place and called to see if they were open during COVID times. A nice korean man picked up and said they still were. I drove over the next day in the afternoon but the store looked closed. I called while waiting in my car and saw movement inside. The same nice man picked up and said yes, come in. He unlocked the door (probably bc it was nearing closing time) and was very patient and helpful with my purchase. Knowing I was debating between 18 or 20 inches, he patiently took the samples out of the boxes and showed me the colors, lengths, spoke to me about the styling, etc. I mentioned it was my first time buying hair extensions and my first visit to his store so he graciously offered a discount :)! $2.99 Ardell lashes, what's not to love?! I've been really into feather extensions lately and they have the loop tool + pliers for $5! There's a separate wire loop tool that I prefer for $5. And of course they have extension beads! (DO NOT BUY the cheapy ones! They will get stuck in your hair) Spend a little more and purchase the ones encased with silicone. I went to 2 other beauty supply stores before coming across this little piece of heaven. I love Beauty World specifically for the reason that they sell Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger. Not only that but they sell it in a gift set. A large 33.8 oz. bottle of Moisturizing Lather Shampoo and an 8.5 oz. bottle of Keratin Cream Rinse for $39.99. LOVE IT!
