Don't be fooled by their Instagram page. The hair extension quality is very poor. I went in November to get my set of 24-inch extensions,. The extensions shed excessively and they are very thin now. While I was there, another client was telling the stylist that she experienced the same issue with her previous extension set--excessive shedding and hair thinning--so this doesn't seem like an isolated experience. For the price point, I expected much better quality. The extensions are extremely overpriced for what you receive. The hair itself would last me about 1.5 years on average. But it also depends sometimes too! Sometimes it would be 1.5 others would be 2 years. So it just differs every time! Bella carries two types of hair, Remy and lavish! Lavish is thicker, softer, and extremely high quality it's about 120-130 grams in total. I've been coming here for eight months and spent ~$800 on their so called "luxury" extensions, two purchases of 1.5 packs (plus 5 maintenance appointments at about $200 each. What looks like a reasonable price at first ends up costing way more because the hair quality is so terrible you have to keep replacing it. The extensions they sell are thin, shed nonstop, and smell awful every time they get wet. It's the cheap hair you can buy online ($30 bucks on AliExpress) for a fraction of what they charge. But the worst part is the complete lack of customer service. They don't answer calls, they schedule only by text, and they ignore you whenever they feel like it. When I had to reschedule because of flooding in my area, they simply stopped responding. The person at the front desk is rude, unhelpful, and has zero people skills, but there's no one else you can talk to. And nobody cares. Now I'm stuck with hair that no stylist wants to move up, and this salon still won't respond to me. After a quick search, I found a new stylist in Riverside with five star reviews and an impressive IG -- same price, completely different experience so far -- but now I have to start over and buy brand new hair because of this place. Save yourself the money and the headache. This place doesn't care about you or your business. There are so many talented stylists in OC that are personable and good at what they do. P.S. I'm sharing my experience after a truly disappointing and painful service at this salon. I paid nearly $500 for beaded weft extensions as a birthday treat, but the appointment turned into a nightmare. The installation on August 22 was painful, the extensions were a clear color mismatch, and my natural hair suffered significant breakage and damage. I initially reached out five times within the salon's cancellation or retouch policy window, hoping they would correct the issues and stand by their work. When I received no meaningful response, I continued reaching out. I reached out over 15 times since September 1 about the damage and lack of follow-up. After receiving no answer I filed a dispute with my bank over the issue hoping I could get my money back at least. The owner refused to give me my money back after multiple attempts of trying to get this matter resolved. I asked the owner for the cosmetology license number of the person who performed my service, since the stylist cut, blended, and straightened my natural hair all of which legally require a licensed cosmetologist in California. Despite my patience and repeated efforts, I've received no accountability or resolution. The lack of care or follow-up from the owner clearly shows how little they value customer satisfaction. This place is money hungry rather than customer focused, prioritizing profit over professionalism, quality, and integrity. The silence and avoidance I've experienced from the owner is a direct reflection of their poor customer service and lack of accountability. I would have much preferred to resolve this matter privately, but after being ignored for over two months and making more than 20 contact attempts, I feel obligated to warn others. I will be informing the State board of Barbering and cosmetology as well as the local department of consumer affairs since the establishment failed to provide me a valid cosmetology license number. If you're considering this salon, please verify your stylist's license and think twice before trusting this place with your hair. I got beaded hair extensions 11/13 for $800. I washed my hair on 11/14 and after that first wash I lost about 40% of the volume in the extensions. By 11/21, only 1 week after installation, my last row of hair was already loose & slipping off. Currently trying to find someone who's willing to remove their botched worked. I let her know that because due to hair loss I didn't have much hair to work with however, she said that she will try her best to have my hair blended, however after paying $500, I realized it wasn't even worth the price. My hair does not blend. You can tell that I have extensions applied not only that but I asked her if she was able to curl my hair I would pay extra. She said that because she had a lot of client she wouldn't be able to however I was the last person to leave mind you. I did not ask for a free service. I was willing to pay for the curling. Went here a few times. Only the first time I was worth it. When I first went they had great hair in a variety of colors hanging in the salon. Now the hair is in back unless it's the more expensive "lavish" hair. They only have blonde or black, nothing in between and then they up charge you to special blend the colors. They told me multiple times they had my color, then didn't when I went in but charged me more cause it had to be a special color. This happened 3 separate occasions. The girl doing my hair one time found a "lavish" color that matched. She said she would give me that since they didn't have anything that matched. The owner quickly came over to give me the cheaper hair that didn't match but said it looked better. Last time I tried to book I text prior to know they had my color. They kept saying yes come but when I asked specifically with pictures, then they just said come on and will match cause they didn't have the colors. Then when I asked again a 7th time in text, they finally never responded cause I was very specific. The hair they use for the special is really crap quality. When my hair was taken out, I actually weighed it. The hair was 72grams after 2 months. The hair sheds so much and is really bad quality. No hair extension should shed almost 30% the weight in 2 months. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN. Neither will the 5 friends I revered go back either cause they have had the same issues. They make you give the $50 few to get you in. Of they can't match you hair, oh well, then you loose your deposit. Take it and run to another extension salon that will match your hair. I booked an appointment to get 24 inch black hair extensions. I drove 50 minutes to this appointment and when I got there they decided to tell me they didn't have the color of my hair so I had to get 20 inch instead. They also failed to mention when I booked my appointment that they would only be providing 100 grams of hair. Any extra hair I would want I would be charged extra. It's my 3rd day with them in and the hair is so CHEAP and super bad quality. They also blend your hair BUT to do it they literally shave all your natural hair off to make it blend with the extensions. Now I'm so terrified to see how bald I am when I take these extensions off. The worst hair I've ever had. I've paid less for clip ins with better quality. I can't wait to take these extensions out and definitely NEVER coming here again. Do not recommend. read more
