They listened to my concerns about the original nails being too thin and flexible, and this time they redid them with a stronger application and let me choose a completely different design. The new set feels much more secure and looks beautiful. What I especially appreciated is that they redid the full set at no cost, which I thought was amazing and showed they genuinely wanted to make things right. I really appreciate that the manager took my complaint seriously and made the effort to fix the situation. Problems can happen anywhere, but how a business responds matters a lot, and they definitely redeemed the experience for me.

She even walked past me outside with her client to take photos of her nails while already running late af. I really wanted to walk out and get my nails done somewhere else but my card was on file and I was afraid I'd be marked as a no show even though I was on time. I finally get sat down, I expressed that I was upset but she didn't seem to care or know how to react at all. The owner, Wendy was super nice and still trying to make my experience a good one. I appreciated that. I even apologized because I felt like I came off so rude, but can you blame me? The rest of the appointment went fine, we talked a bit and she did pretty much what I asked for but now that I'm home I really feel like I was ripped off. If my birthday wasn't the next day, I would've tried to find somewhere else to go.. I spent like $165 on a pedicure and gel x set with designs. Please see the designs in my photo. I did compliment my nails, I did tell her that I'd really liked them because the French she did on my toes was good! but when I got home and actually examined the work on my hands up close, the chrome isn't even that well done. The designs she drew on were sloppy! I posted my nails in a nail fb group for an opinion on my nails and experience and everyone told me it was 100% not worth what I paid. They said the execution was bad and she was unprofessional, which I agree. They were even surprised she didn't give any type of courtesy discount considering how late she was. $3 off my callus removal is not sufficient lol. They have a 15 minute grace period for late clients, they should really have something in place for when their techs are 40+ mins late. I honestly wouldn't come back. Way way overpriced.

My toenails weren't cleaned underneath after I asked about it and my tech wouldn't remove two small ingrown more like hangnail areas that other nail techs have helped with before. * Nail polish removal was very rough and uncomfortable. * The massage lasted less than a minute and the whole service felt rushed. There were only 3 people in the salon: my mom, myself and one other person and they seemed much more attentive to the other woman. * The salon didn't feel very clean. The walls were dirty, the baseboards were dusty, they had stuff duct taped on the chairs that were falling apart. The furniture and pillows were mismatched and the hallway to the restroom had a shredded curtain and wasn't well maintained in the back. Bathroom was pretty dirty too. * There were only three technicians working on a Saturday and the overall quality of service reflected that. *They did have AC which felt nice during this hot summer, but other than not much else going for this place. Except they actually don't have the extra long in stock, she was going to just apply the Long tip halfway down my nail bed. I declined and asked for the extra long tips I'm paying for. She then took out "xtra xtra long" and said $85 for these. So completely skipped over extra long and still charged me. Whatever , I agreed because benefit of the doubt. Once the foundation is laid, they ask me what designs I want. I showed them several pictures as inspiration and described what I would like, open to all suggestions and directions. They quoted me an additional $75 on top of the $85, and although I was completely shocked , I figured I was just out of my budget and needed to pick another design. Everything I suggested was $60+ on top of $85. Finally I asked ok what about French tip?! They said $25 extra. Okay, very expensive but I hope they look good. Keep in mind the entire time, only 1 person in the whole salon spoke English and whenever I would ask a question, my tech would yell for the English speaker very annoyed as if I was a problematic customer. I also got a full set gel x pedicure, and needed one nail repaired as it's growing back from falling off. When my tech was removing dead skin from the sides of my nail bed, she snipped my skin and cut me. In total for full set xtra long French tip and French tip gel x pedicure, I paid $190 not including tip. 3 days later, my repaired toe nail came off. Okay, maybe it was just too small of a nail. BUT THEN ON THE 4TH DAY, MY FINGERNAIL BREAKS IN HALF. $190 for basic nails, that break not even a full business week later. So disappointed, will never come back.

My…read morenail technician, an older Vietnamese woman who I believe was named Nancy, was speaking negatively about me to a coworker during my service. She did not realize that I speak Vietnamese, so I understood everything being said. The situation made me very uncomfortable and felt extremely unprofessional. Despite this, I still left a tip, and she proceeded to comment on the amount, which only added to the disrespect. When I said goodbye to her in Vietnamese and let her know that I understood the conversation, it was clear she had not expected that. Professionalism and respect should be a given in any service environment, and it's definitely lacking here. I will not be returning. For potential customers considering this salon, be aware that conversations you don't understand may not always be appropriate.
