My daughter and I both came to MIEL K-Beauty Spa for an eyelash lift service, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the results. There is barely any noticeable curl in either of our eyelashes, especially mine. It honestly looks like nothing was done. Even my daughter's lashes, which are naturally nice, show almost no visible lift. I also had a little brown eyeliner on my eyes. The technician did not remove it before the service and later told me that I should not come wearing makeup next time. It was not full makeup, just eyeliner, and I feel this should have been handled more professionally. Paid for the full set and she said it could be done in 45 min which should have been a red flag right away but I'm thinking maybe she's some sort of amazing lash ninja-NO they looked fine but In my opinion def not a full set like a FILL. I got my eyes microbladed for the first time and after watching countless videos of what they looked like...I was terrified. Watching people's daily blogs of how unbareably itchy they were and by day 2 to 5 it looked like you had black ducktape as eyebrows! Being a teacher, children are oh so honest about what they see and point out whatever looks different to them. With the holidays approaching I was wondering how much I would loathe my week and regret getting them done before our last week of school before holiday. Day 1: Not bad the numbing cream helps. And her attention to detail was phenomenal. It was like watching an artist work on canvas in this case the canvas was my eyebrows. Honestly I don't do my eyebrows and I am very minimal. I had a picture to show her what I wanted and that was about it. I consistantly got asked what I thought, if I had any feedback or if there was anything I would want to change. Her professionalism made the process so much more comforting. Day 2-5: A little itchy but more felt lile a strand of hair brushed my eyebrow. Nothing I took major notice of. It darkened a bit but nothing major. Very natural and I got tons of compliments on how they looked! I love the way Koreans do microblading because the whole process and the eyebrows from beginning to end look natural. Shape, color, style, everything. Last thing I want to look like is black ducktape cut out for eyebrows. Starting to get some scabbing like predicted. In the end, as a person who is a minimalist with makeup and tries to avoid any beauty trend ... I would totally do it again. It has been a full week and I go in for my touch up in 5 weeks. I've have been getting lash extensions for a decade, and have had Sadie do them for at least a year before I swapped to other technicians in late 2016. Lash placement was usually impeccable, if somewhat skimpy... but the service was fast. Always 45min or less, as I went back every 3 weeks... lashes were down to 20%... with requests for cash tips. I used to bring 20s, just because I thought she was that good. Ha. After having Suri do My lashes because Sadie was booked, I had a revelation. Sadie was skimping on my lashes... I had much fuller thicker sets with the other techs, even though it took them the full hour... and they lasted 4 weeks. Why was I tipping so much for less lashes and shifty service? Good luck with your windowless backroom in a strip mall nail salon... I'll stick with bright and beautiful salons... that charge less. Ugh. Getting my lashes done by Sadie is my favorite time of the week! I've been having her do them for almost a year...sometimes 3weeks apart, and sometimes 2 weeks, depending on my schedule. I would rather have these than a facial, at this point, because it feels nice and I look great afterwards. I don't wear mascara and have to curl my puny straight eyelashes anymore!! It's beyond addicting! I don't care if I ever see my own lashes again, as long as Sadie keeps them looking soooo great! In other words; yes, I recommend her AND her service! By the way, this is not my first experience with eyelash extensions. I have tried them on and off since they first showed up close to 10 years ago. For years I have been experiencing thinning eyebrows. What can I do... I am getting older. Every morning I would draw in my eyebrows perfectly with a waterproof eyebrow pencil, but by the end of work, the outer half of my eyebrows would be missing. This would stress me out so much. I decided to get the microblading by Sadie at Miel Lashes. Many of my friends recommended her. She was very accommodating and explained the whole process. First, Sadie drew in my eyebrows to create the perfect eyebrow shape. It took only about 10 -15 minutes until we found a shape that I was satisfied with. I was so happy she was able to quickly draw the eyebrow shape I had explained to her. Next, Sadie began to use a microblade tool to draw in my new eyebrows. I felt a little bit of pain while she was drawing in my eyebrows but nothing severe. After the numbing cream was applied, I could feel Sadie was microblading my brows but without any pains. After the process was complete, I could see the immediate difference in how I looked. It took about 2 hours for the complete procedure. My brows were tender and slightly red, but that was to be expected. Sadie gave me aftercare instructions. The healing process was very smooth and good. Microblading has saved me so much time and frustration in the mornings, and it's much easier to manage my brows now. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions, so I did quite some researching online to find a great place - and I'm satisfied with Miel Lashes. On a day-to-day basis, I prefer an easy morning routine. The less I have to do, the better (low maintenance). Initially, I compared lash lifting with eyelash extension. Since lash lifting is less maintenance, I decided to do a lift in OCT 2019 at another place and it was awful. In NOV 2019, my eyelashes were still horrible and I wanted to look nicer for the holidays. I did some research and found Miel Lashes. I gave her a call on the morning of my appointment and she was able to take me in that evening. The eyelash extension is in a room inside a nail shop. The nail shop itself is simple and clean - same goes for the eyelash extension room. Before starting the process, she asked me a few questions and looked at my eyelash and gave me some recommendations. The condition of my eyelashes were short and curled up messily. I wanted a natural look and took her suggestion on the type of lash extension I should do. The whole process itself was enjoyable and no pain. When my extensions were done, I thought looked a bit unnatural. I think I wasn't used to the new look. A few days later, I got used to the look and was very happy with it. I do think they looked a little uneven, but I think that is due to the messed up eyelash lift and not on her technique. I followed her instructions and made sure I didn't rub my eyes, etc. For the most part, my extensions stayed for about 1.5 months. On my right eye, which had a really bad lash lift, the extensions fell off completely about 1 month. My left eye fell off completely at around 1.5 months after rubbing my eyes extensively. When meeting with my girls, they commented on how natural the eyelash extensions were so I'm satisfied with the results. Planning to go back to get my lashes done again. read more

But it was totally safe and She did such great job put just enough only on lashes. (Maybe I had horrible experience before.) Lashes are something most people ignore. I know I have for my entire life. I'll use mascara, put on falsies, then call it a day. My half decade birthday is soon approaching and needed a feel-good splurge. I researched the local lash places and felt Miel had the best reviews. I'm Asian, so my lashes are non existent. Well, I have them but they're short and straight, sort of like a broom. I had all but given up on them till I found Miel. Its a little hard to find the salon since it's located in a nail salon - VIP Nails to be exact. The salon is very clean - very white walls and could use some splashes of color and music. At any rate, I sort of knew what I wanted but not really. I just said I use falsies every day and she knew I wanted a little more than natural. She's very experienced from what I researched and it took about 1 hour to apply 120 lashes. It's a very calm experience and I think I fell asleep. I loved the results. I can wake up and look good without the normal painting on of my face. Her prices are reasonable when comparing her to the local shops. I'm happy with the results. It's been 2 weeks and I'm hoping I can make it another week or so before a fill. I knew I shouldn't have ever come in - coz it's spendy but I love it! I really tried liking this place. I got my lashes done 2 days ago. I agree with a previous post. She whipped them on super fast. They paid no attention to detail. I got them done 2 days ago and they already started falling off. Not worth the money. In addition to that, when it comes to customer service, it is always about the little things. I've gotten my lashes done many times. I had gone in after work and had mascara. I walked in and she just told me to take off my mascara with a makeup wipe. Not even eye makeup remover. She didn't care to do it since she technically is more of an eyelash expert than I am. If I've ever had mascara on at a different location, the technician does it to ensure the best service. Mostly every other time in any place, they gave me a little care kit to at least brush my lashes. They gave me nothing. I had to ask her how to care for them.I had to run to the store the next day to figure out a way to brush them especially after waking up in the mornings. Finally, the quality of the lashes are not great. They definitely look cheap, which they really shouldn't. I'm sad I spent as much money as I did in this place.
