I own Kiehl's lip balm and facial serum, which worked well, and had been given a few samples of their other products in the past.

This quiet little store caught my eye in the midst of a busy mall atmosphere. I was gravitated…read moretowards the dim lighting, candles (perhaps I was imagining that), wood walls/shelves, and a giant fountain/sink thing right when you walk in. One smiling employee stood behind the counter. No one else was in the stop. Stepping inside felt like I was thrust into an alternate zen universe of calm & peacefulness while shoppers rushed nearby. Ommm. First impression: some kind of upscale version of LUSH. The store markets itself as a bath & body line made from the finest natural ingredients with scents inspired by nature. Most of the shops are in NYC. Since I love things that are natural/organic/pure/raw, this intrigued me. Looking around, I found adorable [recycled!] glass bottles of shampoos, lotions, oils, soaps, scrubs, and such. They also have candles and other ways to make a space smell pretty. Everything looked beautiful. Everything smelled wonderfully. And everything had a pretty hefty price tag, yet it's comparable to high-end cosmetic/skincare lines. I probably wouldn't be able to buy any of these things for myself unless I specifically budgeted for it. And I'm going to budget for it. The best part (for me) is the chance to try one of the scrubs or liquid soaps and wash our hands in beautiful stone fountain. I actually overlooked this fountain when I walked in, but walking out, I don't know how I missed it. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try one of the products (I was in a hurry.... I wasn't thinking.... I don't know!), but I will come straight back here the next time I find myself at the mall. Final impression: LUSH, what's that? Move over. Sabon wins.

Please dont be fooled by the fancy store. I have gotten items as a gift from this store…read more Unsatisfied with some of the items I exchanged them. I got the body butter in the summer. I used it a little but waited for winter when my skin was more dry. When I took some to put on my skin it didnt dissolve in my skin and pieces of residue was left on my skin. This product is probably one of many faulty items. They overcharge so much for their products. Worse thing- I contacted the "owner" of this store- chicago location and woodfield and they refused to do anything about it. Pretty sad that they dont value customer service and sell products that are faulty and probably close to expiring. Im never buying anything here again.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026 is in full swing! I am hiding inside today from the smoke outside…read moreand checking out the selection of anniversary deals, including brands like Free People, Free People Movement and Open Edit. I also love that Fall colors are starting to make an appearance, like my favorite color, burgundy red and deep wines. I don't know about anyone else, but I am ready for Fall and cooler, crisp air! A mocha ice storm is my favorite treat from the Nordstrom eBar just outside the store. Store staff are always very helpful here and there are always good sale items too.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Nordstrom has done a complete 180. What…read moreused to be a special experience is now rotted by egotistical associates. I stopped in on Saturday 4/25/26 for an exchange. We had to search for an associate, to start off. Some were behind the counter on their phones, chit chatting with each other, or hiding behind racks. I felt like I was in a sea of employees with none to be found- strangest experience. I unfortunately found a counter with a lady named Cathy behind it. Cathy falls in top five worst shopping experiences I've ever had. She immediately profiled me, it was actually disturbing. Without letting me say a word about my exchange, she went on and on about why is it her problem and she's a "rule follower". She wouldn't even take the time to pull up my personal book or my mother in laws, who gifted them to my husband. Also, keep in mind, there are no "rules" when it comes to Nordstroms return policy. She was strictly there to give me a hard time and make me feel like I was doing something wrong. Things only went downhill from there when she called her MIC. A male named Eric I believe? African American with a beard. He came down with a quickness and never made eye contact with me once. The two of them together couldn't make one good manager. I found him to be cowardly and an example of the company's poor onboarding & training. It's not too late to invest in a leadership program, let me know if you're interested. My three items were like-new and only tried on. My husband has a bad habit of washing all his clothes before he wears them. He did exactly that in September 2025 to realize the pants fit him poorly on the legs. Since when is that a crime or not allowed? I've posted the return policy directly from their website with my review. It's clear that Cathy and her MIC were only trying to give me, and likely many other customers, a hard time and not service. So much for playing by the rules.
