I am highly dissatisfied with both the manicure and pedicure services I received at Beaux Toes in Lake Woodlands. Every fingernail was left with a different shape some are wider, some are more pointed, and others are uneven. I asked the technician to reshape them, but she barely attempted to correct the issue. I also requested a cat-eye design, yet there is no clear or defined cat-eye effect. The pedicure was equally inconsistent. The polish is streaky and uneven, with visible brush marks, rough edges, and inconsistent application around the cuticles and sides of the toenails. The overall finish looks rushed and unprofessional. I made the owner aware of my concerns. He offered a 15% discount due to the poor shaping and also offered to have someone from another salon come over to reshape my nails. However, I was told there would be an additional wait. I arrived at 4:15 p.m. and did not leave until 7:15 p.m. After already spending three hours there, I was exhausted and simply wanted to go home. At that point, I decided I would have to reshape them myself. I appreciate that a partial discount and another technician were offered, but neither option adequately resolved the overall quality issues with both services. The results are clearly shown in the photos and do not reflect the standard I expected from a professional salon. I paid for a manicure and pedicure but left needing to correct the work myself. I really wanted to love this place because it's absolutely adorable inside. However, There was quite a bit of miscommunication with the staff. I clearly asked for a French tip for both my manicure and pedicure, showed pictures, and discussed the white color for the French tip. However, the technician said I had agreed to ombré instead, which wasn't what I requested. I had also mentioned to the front desk that I wanted French tips for both services. On top of that, the nail shape isn't even one nail is longer than the other and my cuticles were not cleaned properly. The overall finish just didn't feel polished. I'll leave a picture below taken just minutes after leaving Beaux Toes. Better communication and more attention to detail would really improve the experience. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The vibe and aesthetic is cute and different and my nail techs were so sweet and patient. I went in wanting brown polished nails and it took 45 minutes for the owner to finally tell me that they had no Brown polish. I don't know how a nail salon doesn't have brown polish. And honestly, if they told me that before I started services, I most likely would not have stayed. It was disheartening, having to settle for a color that my nail tech mixed together to make it as brown as possible, but for what I paid ($$$) that was not acceptable in my opinion. There were a few times that the owner must have forgotten that I was in the Salon because I could hear his loud conversations over the phone with who I could guess was his partner/wife and it just seemed really inappropriate knowing that you have staff and customers in the vicinity. read more

This place is just weird. The concept with the clean air and decor is different, but they put all of their energy into that and not enough into their nail services. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. They only have three or four nail techs, so if you want a pedicure and nails done, they won't be done at the same time. Expect to be there for 3+ hours. Everyone was nice, and the pedicure was ok, but nothing special and you don't really get a massage. My fingernails were inconsistently shaped and were super thick. The owner asked what color I wanted four times. The nail tech had to remind him, and then he brought the wrong color and product.... The place also gave me a really bad headache, which I don't normally get at salons. I'm still on a mission to find a good place for nails in the woodlands, so far they've been disappointing. read more

The salon looks nice and clean inside. However, the service is not good. I was a walk in client, and asked if there was a wait. They told me there was not a wait and that I could have a seat in the pedicure chair. However, after being seated and having my feet soaked, I was told that I can ONLY get the basic pedicure because they have other clients coming in with appointments and they didn't want to spend time on my pedicure. I wanted a more detailed pedicure and was denied that option. They also never offered me a beverage but offered other customers a beverage. When I asked for certain things, the nail tech had a horrible attitude with me. The design I got looks horrible. Spent $82 on some nails that I do not like. All I wanted was to treat myself with some cute nails but it did NOT go that way. I will not be returning. I had an excellent experience on Mother's Day. I walked into this unique looking nail salon and was able to book an appointment for later in the afternoon as requested. It was clean and had zero "nail shop odor". The owner greeted me right away, and even called me to let me know that an earlier time slot was available, because when I first arrived they were booked. I came in for a full set on 2/17 at around 2 pm, the management I assume told me they didn't have anyone for a full set at that time so they offered dip, I agreed because they told me it was the same. It was not. I has wanted a very simple design, pink French tips with a thin sparkly outline, the tech gave me a face like "please don't make me attempt this" so I agreed to just put a sparkly top coat. The nails came out nice and my tech was very friendly. But the quality of the set was atrocious. My top coat started peeling 2 1/2 days in, 4 nails popped off by day 4. I had called to make a repair on the nails, because I wanted to give them another chance, I called 3 times, for them to either not answer or send me to voicemail. I emailed them stating that I did dispute the full $91 service because I feel I shouldn't have to pay for a set that didn't even stay a week. If you want to come in for nice conversation or a good view you've found the place but please for the love of god don't make the mistake I did and get the dip. I'm severely disappointed. I'm now just left with chunks of acrylic and super glue on my fingers. read more
