Five stars all around! I have had my backyard fountain over 10 years and Justin is my go to when I have problems. He is quick to respond and fit me in his schedule. He had given good advice in helping me maintain it myself for small issues. For bigger issues - like the time the racoon got into the reserve tank and ripped the float valve off - he came with needed parts to fix. Highly recommend!

Justin helped get our pond and waterfall looking clear and beautiful. He replaced our pump at a very competitive price. He is professional and friendly.

I've been using beaver aquatics for two years now. At first, my pond was a disaster, very dirty with all kinds of nasty stuff growing out of it. The owner Justin gave us an affordable estimate and now he maintains my Pond on a weekly basis. He installed aerators and a Beautiful fountain in the middle of the pond to keep the water circulating. Now it looks amazingly clean.Fish are healthy and so are the ducks. The owner Justin is awesome to work with. He's super knowledgeable and is always available.

Both times Justin was prompt, explained the issue, and provided helpful tips next time the same issue arose.

Live Water Aquariums Transformed My San Diego Koi Pond - Absolutely Awesome Service!…read moreI can't say enough good things about Live Water Aquariums! They recently came out to my home in sunny San Diego for a full pond tune-up on my backyard koi setup, and wow--what a difference. The owner Mark himself showed up right on time, rolled up his sleeves, and dove right in (pun intended). He inspected everything from the filtration system to the water chemistry, cleared out some stubborn algae buildup, and even balanced the pH levels on the spot--our San Diego hard water can be tricky, but he nailed it without a hitch. My koi are swimming happier than ever, and the water is crystal clear, just like the Pacific on a good day. What's even better is that we signed up for their monthly maintenance plan on the spot. For a reasonable fee, they handle all the routine stuff--skimming debris, checking the pump and UV sterilizer, adding those beneficial bacteria to keep things eco-balanced, and monitoring ammonia/nitrite levels so I don't have to stress. No more weekend warrior sessions for me; I can just kick back in my backyard and enjoy the show. The guy is genuinely awesome--super knowledgeable, friendly, and treats your pond like it's his own. He shared tips on winterizing for our mild SoCal climate (like insulating the heater lines come December) and even recommended some hardy water lilies that thrive here. If you're in the San Diego area and need pro help for your pond or aquarium, Live Water Aquariums is the real deal. They've got my lifelong business. 10/10, would recommend to every fish-loving neighbor!

We plan to buy more Ranchu !…read more We bought a calico Ranchu, and to our surprise, he arrived healthy and full of energy after spending nearly 48 hours in UPS transit during the 95-100°F Texas heat. We were a little worried about the long journey and extreme temperatures, but he adapted immediately and has been active, beautiful, and incredibly cute from the moment he arrived. To be honest, we were also hesitant at first because of some of the negative Google and Yelp reviews. As first-time Ranchu owners, we spent a lot of time researching breeders, but there aren't many reputable Ranchu breeders in the U.S. for this exotic goldfish. In the end, we decided to take a chance and see how this little guy would turn out despite the mixed reviews. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The fish exceeded our expectations in every way. This experience really proved the quality of this breeder. Their Ranchu are healthy, well-bred, and able to handle even a challenging shipment in the Texas summer. We are extremely satisfied and definitely plan to buy more Ranchu from them in the future. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful little fish into our home!

The 2 stars are solely because they had what I was looking for, otherwise it would be 1 star…read more I went looking for a fish with certain traits, which they had a several variations of. When I found one that I liked I asked the guy helping me out the price; he gave me a number. When I looked it up online using their code it was off: he gave me a number $15 more than their website. Had I not checked I would've overpaid. Not to mention (I found this out after I'd left) they had a 10% discount until 7/7-my purchase was made before that date; however they made no mention of this. The conditions in which the fish are kept is less than ideal. There's numerous dead fish; some of the betta's are in small jugs with another dead betta. They weren't the only fish with dead companions but it was harder to photograph the ones in bigger tanks without being seen. Definitely wouldn't recommend going there if you're looking for something that was raised in good conditions.
