We slept so soundly as it was so quiet there in the woods. It is near town (we rode our bikes) for food and sight seeing, groceries, the beach, and walks. The manager, Cynthia, was so nice and helpful. She really made our stay enjoyable. We loved sitting on the deck relaxing. The grounds are nicely landscaped with flower beds and hardwoods. It's a short walking distance to the northern beach area and the Beaver Island Lodge Restaurant. We are definitely going to stay here again.

Would recommend that if it's available, but all the rooms looked nice. - Lots of lounging room around the house... sunroom, library, etc. - Location is great. 1 hour to Munising, Grand Marais, St Ignace, etc. Great for day tripping. - Breakfast is really good. The hosts are great. Prices are reasonable (noted on their website). The whole house and grounds are super pretty. Potential Cons - No Wifi at the moment, and AT&T coverage is bad. But you're in the UP, you didn't come here to look at your laptop, did you? - They don't take CCs, so bring cash or check to pay. - Mostly 2-prong outlets, so bring a converter if you need it. On the second night, a room opened on the bay side and we moved over there. No noise on the street side and even less on the bay. As we were taking our seats on the ferry for the return trip, Kim, one of the owners, ran aboard with the ear buds my wife forgot. That's customer service.
