This is the best lake around with clear clean water. If your looking to water ski or any water sports this lake is big enough to do it all. I like how you can go to different docks to pull up to and get gas and grab snacks. If your going to be drinking and driving on this lake don't there's to many lake patrols on this lake. They enjoy stopping your boat and checking all your paperwork and to make sure you have enough life jackets. So go out and enjoy the nicest lake in NWA.

Paradise is the word I would use to describe this lake. It's gorgeous. The water is clear, crisp and clean. The trails surround the lake were fun and easy to hike on. Climbing down the cliff took skill so if you aren't steady on your feet I advise you use the "beach" area. It is just as pretty. I am counting down the days to go back. Hoping to camp next time as the camping grounds were in pristine shape.

The dam was fascinating and the history was well-described.. We really enjoyed the hike from the dam overlook.

Took the family here on a nice Saturday afternoon to check things out. First impression was that…read morethe reservoir "lake" was a bit on the dirty/scummy side, but as we started walking the paved path it got better. We saw a lot of turtles swimming or sun bathing and the kids loved that! The path itself was nice and everyone walking or biking seemed friendly and things were cleaner than my initial impression. I wouldn't swim in this lake, but there were people fishing and that seemed fun and it was a lovely 2 mile easy walk. It felt safe, too. Good for families and pretty views!!

They had a few walking bridges and a nice section by the parking lot with splash areas. The lake was much larger than I thought and had a large paved trail around it all. It was 1.8 miles total with some sections in the direct sun and some uphill so be prepared. There were a few benches and stops to rest on the trail but the only bathrooms were in the front. There were a lot of of people fishing and many concrete docks to walk out on which I thought was a great feature. I did see a lot of garbage in the water and ground and not enough trash cans for sure. Also a lot of goose poop but I guess that happens. We saw many birds, turtles, and fish which my kids liked a lot! I do recommend checking this nice lake out for fishing, nature exploring, or a nice walk.

15/10 would recommend! If you're in the area and catch a glimpse of this, do NOT miss out!…read more My partner and I had an amazing time! Our guides were so personable, accommodating,& not overbearing in that "Your a tourist so we have to do the small talk" thing. It was actually cool, like going out to the lake with friends. I originally picked Sup for the Cliff Diving feature, which to me is exactly what is needed during a vacation. My partner wasn't a fan of that idea so we found a more "relaxing" vibe, settling on the Sunset Paddle. Best thing for me is while we did our Sunset paddle our guide suggested doing a cliff jump& I was so excited! It was exactly what I wanted and I valued the suggestion since my partner wasn't interested in it. I was the only person at first who wanted to jump, the guide said he'd jump too. Little by little the whole group, INCLUDING my partner decided to join! It wasn't one of those "Peer Pressure" things. Just good ol' inviting nature coupled with words of encouragement. It was a huge highlight for me. So many options: Cliff Jumping, Sunset paddling, Eco Tours, lounging chairs to relax at the lake in. They pretty much have it all& the cherry on top: PRICE! No price gouging. If you have your own gear it's even cheaper. They sit at $20/Person for the tour when you have your own gear. Small wins in this economy. Yes we could've just went out with our own gear and got to mosey around, but it was so nice to be guided where the sun sets perfectly. It was absolutely perfection. **I wish I had more photos but we had such a good time we hardly took any and our guide took most of them!**

Our 14 year old tried the paddle board with Dillon's help and he did well. The tour was the right choice for our inter-generational, not very athletic group. If you're coming to Natural Falls for barbecuing, picnicking, short hiking, lounging around and camping...then this park is for you. I was scrolling through Google Maps and discovered a photo that looked intriguing. It was a picture of a 77 foot plunging waterfall among a scenic backdrop known as Ozark Springs. This Ozark Springs waterfall is the #1 top highlight at the park. The rest of the activities (I believe) are side compliments. So...if you're passing through West Siloam Springs, it could be worthwhile to check out Ozark Springs, and it doesn't take long to do. The trails map says 45 minutes, but it can be finished in less. The walk to the falls is half a mile at the most. You can find Ozark Springs along the Dripping Springs Trail. There are two parts to capturing views. First is from an overlook point high above. After completing this lookout spot, then it's 47 steps down to the bottom. The base of Ozark Falls has a boardwalk pathway leading you in front of the waterfall. I was tempted to step off the boardwalk to avoid the hand railing when taking pictures, but that wasn't not allowed. Also unfortunately, they don't permit swimming in the pool that Ozark Falls splashes into. But the waters appeared refreshing. You can connect Dripping Springs Trail with Ghost Coon Trail to combine two hikes in one. Or otherwise you can return to the Dripping Springs Trailhead and either choose another pathway or hang out, have lunch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There are a few other trails you can consider, but they're nothing dramatic. - Fox Den Trail - 1.5 miles to a "rock overhang and cavern area". - Bear Trail - hardly a hike but leads to Ozark Springs and intersects with Dripping Springs Trail. - Pine Ridge Trail - 3/4th's of a mile that navigates the perimeter of Natural Falls Park. It's $10 entrance fee for a day pass. You can pay at the Visitor Center. Plus inside the VC, you can purchase souvenirs from a small selection of items or buy snacks and drinks if you haven't arrived prepared. I noticed they have a lot of space for camping. Although I didn't spend a night here, the conditions for sleeping outdoors looked inviting. Btw...while walking along Ghost Coon Trail, I passed by these Yurts, or I'd describe them as huts accommodative for "glamping" or glorified camping. It's like upscale camping staying in tent - cabins. There may have been 5 - 6 yurts located beside the grass edge of the forest and pleasant looking for enjoying the great outdoors. Overall, Natural Falls State Park has a quiet setting and is fine for taking a few hours to breathe in fresh air, especially if you're in no hurry. Although I wanted more challenging hiking trails and activities to keep me occupied, I was okay with taking a lazy day to appreciate nature.
