I called another locksmith afterward and he gave me a detailed description of the problem and that he couldn't get the key code until after 11 Monday because of GM. He then told me exactly how the process would work, and how to avoid a on site charge, by letting him make the key and me program it to the car. Saved me hundreds, and his honesty highlighted the dishonesty and scam-like behavior of this company. I will NEVER do business with them.

That did not happen and I only had 10 minutes to leave work and get home to meet the company's representative "Vince". It turned out that the overhead garage door opener could not be repaired and no parts were installed. I was presented with a bill that was outrageous. A service call plus labour!!! I was told on site that this company adds a surcharge of 4% if you pay with a credit card. No one told me this or I would have brought my check book. This company does business in a very unethical manner and lost out on a job to replace the doors, hardware and everything else on our 4-car garage plus a 6-car out building. Please continue these deceptive practices so that customers go elsewhere.

In addition to contacting the local Hyundai "stealership" to resolve my auto key fob issue, I…read morecalled a dozen supposedly "local" locksmiths only to find that they are more or less clearinghouses that have contracted with local locksmiths to provide them with customers 24/7. This is a great if you need after hours emergency lockout help, etc., but I didn't have an emergency and wasn't willing to pay their exorbitant rates. Finally, I found two legitimate local locksmiths. The first one attempted to do the job, but admitted that they didn't have the codesource that they needed. However they did provide helpful advice that got me closer to a solution. The second, Davis Locksmith, provided immediate help over the phone and worked with me to get my key fob cut. They even went above and beyond and paid me an onsite visit to assure that my mechanical key worked properly. In my experience, this is very rare, exceptional service in an otherwise cutthroat industry. Kudos to John and Timothy for providing going the extra mile to satisfy a customer. I look forward to this business remaining in the family and providing traditional, friendly, and affordable service.

All I wanted was a freakin estimate, and they kept b-sing me trying to find if I had the money to afford them. How can I know, unless I get the estimate and you look at my place. It's like a car salesman asking you how your paying for the car before you even test drive it. I have a small ranch style home, very small, and they already were saying like 25k a bathroom. My bathroom is tiny too. So, I could only imagine what half bathroom would be like. I just hate companies that are like this, give customers options and talk to them with respect before jumping three steps ahead. They might do good work but their approach absolutely sucks!
