I can spot pride in one's work a mile away, and I was absolutely stunned at the beautiful install Tri-County did on my HVAC system. Whoever did this install was a true professional and took the time to make sure it was done right. I could tell immediately upon looking at that install that I had nothing to worry about. The line set was perfectly supported, bends were clean, insulation on the copper line set was wrapped & taped at equal spaces all the way down, the screws on the rigid ducts were spaced equally and at the same locations all around, the PVC condensate lines were thoughtfully run. Everything about the install was gorgeous. I have used Tri-County for my bi-annual A/C & furnace service and have had nothing but a wonderful experience: their professional technicians have been prompt, on-time, courteous, and took plenty of time with my unit and didn't mind explaining to my inquisitive mind what they were doing & why. I will use no one else but Tri-County, as my experience has been nothing short of stellar. In this day & age, that's a rare gem to find. Arlinghaus has decided to change out the outdoor unit increasing size thus matching what was replaced. This is considerable expense to them but was the honorable thing to do. Hopefully this will be the final. Update to this review. In the end, Arlinghaus made a mistake sizing our replacement equipment up front but has gone a long way correcting that mistake in the end which is what really matters!

But the thermostats installed have never worked right. We've complained about them and had them out to check them and program them multiple times. Only one guy understands them so most of the techs made it worse. He got them to sorta work, but he revealed that they reset to defaults if the power goes out. They finally agreed to switch them out a week ago. Tech couldn't do it. Now there's a problem with the wiring. We've had no AC or fan for a week. We've called every single day and can only get their call service. They had to cut a hole in our ceiling to run duct work. They had a contractor repair it. The repair fell apart in months. Nobody EVER returned our calls. We finally had to pay our handyman to fix it. If they ever finish the job I'll let you know how their work is.

This was supported by a live walkthrough for me to view what the repair person was talking about. The same afternoon (!) options were presented for replacement and a choice was made. An appointment was made and several days later the old furnace was taken out and a new furnace was installed in less than 4 hours. Everyone involved was extremely helpful and courteous. Bottom line: price quoted and installation met with no surprises. Clean space left with all old items and leftover stuff removed. Several weeks later, I remain completely satisfied with the job and would happily recommend this company based on my experience. I will continue to use them in the future.
