In an attempt to ease the tension, I switched seats with my husband, but the discomfort lingered. The bartender took two phone orders before serving a table that came in after us, leaving us without menus or drinks. At that point, we decided to leave in frustration. The ambiance of the bar was dark and small stuck between two other larger businesses, with dim lighting that made it difficult to see until my transition lenses adjusted. Additionally, there was a pole right outside the door that posed a hazard for anyone exiting.
