Great local restaurant with exceptional service. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night on our way to a hockey game. The place was hopping. It took about 15 minutes to get our table for 6. I want to start if saying that the server I had was standoffish, kind of scoffed when I said I didn't like the burger I had. She was a good server other than that. The bacon was just salty tasting, not even a pork flavor or smoky flavor. And the onion rings, burger king has better. And it really sucked that I had high expectations, but came out like the Angus burgers McDonald use to have on their menu. They offered to replace it, but lost my appetite. I took 3 bites of the burger, and ate all of 2.5 potato chips. I went home and ate left over taco bell. I am BEYOND excited that one of my favorite places is expanding and opening a waterside location in bay city. The food.. superb. Everything is just executed perfectly. The house made chips and onion dip? A must get. The crab Rangoon? Always. Pretzels.. you better believe it. The best part is they offer all of their sandwich's as wraps. We had a soccer game in the area and were starving. We found O's and decided to try it out. Our server Rihanna (so sorry if I spelled that wrong) was absolutely wonderful. So charming and friendly. The inside of O's was super cute as well. Loved the big autumn wreath inside. The pretzels were delicious and the cheese sauce to dip them in was so good. Great little dive bar in the heart of Auburn. And I use the word "dive bar" in the most endearing sense. Very cute exterior with Edison Bulb lights illuminating their outdoor patio. Interior is homey with lots of wood paneling like a dive bar should be. Food was pretty good. Minus one star for non Heinz ketchup and for the burger being a thick patty and not a smashy. Everything was coming out burned- either it's overcooked or change your fryer grease. I've never had such greasy cod, it was dripping grease and cooked to such an incredibly dark brown, almost chocolate color. The fries tasted like Long John Silver's. Saw homemade chips on another table, they were so obviously dark and overcooked. Left requested condiments off a burger we ordered. Took 5 minutes to find our waiter to ask him. They were busy, and this made it so our server had no time for us. He apologized when he brought the bill by saying I would've normally checked on you but I had other tables. We didn't want to send food back because we already waited on it for so long. Had to ask for our appetizer when our lunch finally came out because it was never delivered. We've eaten here before and it was ok, but we will not be hurrying back anytime soon. ETA: We may have asked for new food if we had any kind of service within 10-15 minutes of finally getting our food. We weren't checked on and we had a hard time even finding our waiter. We had been there long enough at that point- we wanted to eat and leave. We love coming to Os for the friendly atmosphere and good food. Last night we had the quesadilla burger with tater tots for $18 and the Italian grinder with sweet potato fries for $17. The burger was excellent and juicy, tots were nothing special for a $4 up charge. The Italian grinder was lack luster and didn't have much to it and was dry. We'd skip this next time. Mixed Drinks were very weak but this is typical from when we've visited in the past, for $12 they could've been stronger. Personally, I'd skip the mixed drinks and get beer here.
