We ended up with some cinnamon things (yum!), apple supremes (husband's favorite so far), and several types of cupcakes as well as some warm chocolate chip cookies. My favorite is the chocolate cupcake. I've had cupcakes from some of the best bakeries and this one is right up there with them. It's moist, it's light, it's rich but not cloying, it's super chocolatey and it's just the right amount to satisfy that chocolate craving. I was so excited to order some high-end baked goods here. I walked in and asked about their seed…read moreoil use. Turns out I was told every cupcake's base is made with Canola Oil. I appreciated the honesty but I had to leave, so disappointing. Canola Oil is the most toxic, unhealthy, and inflammatory "cooking" (seed) oil you can use. Online I read "natural high end ingredients", "grandma's kitchen", and saw all those great ingredients (in attached pictures). If you swtich to butter, ghee, avocado oil, or organic extra virgin olive oil your cupcakes would be so much better. Canola Oil was used to lubricate machinary in Canada during World War II and didn't even exist in my grandma's kitchen.
