Wonderful experience with this bakery. Ordered cake for daughters 2nd birthday while on vacation. Nancy and her staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, made suggestions for cake to save us money and was willing to come in on a day closed for cake topper we brought with us. Cake was absolutely adorable and DELICIOUS!!!!

We had the best experience with Incredible Edibles making our wedding cake last weekend. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted great! We enjoyed the tasting process several months before the wedding and found that Nancy was easy to work with and understood what we wanted, and then it magically appeared at the wedding. My husband got a cake from another bakery for my 35th birthday and it was all wrong! So we popped over to check out this cute little bakery on my birthday to try for a chance at birthday cake. Goodness did they impress us! We were met with a friendly smile . Told us all the cake favor verses having to look at tags or guess. Our daughter has autism and was upset when we put our little cake away. Without missing a beat they let her pick out her own cupcake to have in the car. It's small touches like this that make places stand out. But the cake favor was amazing! Icing reminded me of my childhood bakery cakes my parents always made sure was special. We will be ordering special cakes from here from now on. Also popping in for a sweet treat from time to time.

Horrible customer service! Husband and I went to pick up some baked goods. Needed to use the restroom and were not allowed but given a rude comment. Also, we expected more of their baked goods. Their baked goods look good to the eye but flavorless and dry. We have had batter pastries at other places! We will not return and will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is the BEST bakery in Pawleys island. Nancy, the owner, is extremely pleasant and helpful. The offerings are delicious. We drive over twenty miles to go to her adorable shop. We got a delicious seven layer chocolate birthday cake here that received many compliments. We eat out all the time and know our stuff. This place is number one! read more

I got the cream filled oatmeal cookies and the pecan bar. While they were superb the owner was rude when she was in the room. She had been sitting at one of the tables doing paperwork and picked it up to take into a back room and spoke rudely to me as she passed. I won't return. read more

My mother and I stopped in here early one morning on a whim. I had heard about "cruffins" -- a combination of croissant and muffin -- and wanted to try one. I was very impressed with how the shop was appointed, and we delighted by all the pretty treats in the display cases. Per our mission, we did get a cruffin each, and I decided on impulse to get some cookies from the cookie jars on the counter -- oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip. They were a little pricy -- too expensive for every day, but about right for an occasional self-indulgent splurge. The cruffins were -- unimpressive. I mean...they were fine. They were pretty, and flaky, but a little overdone, hard, and they lacked the intense butter taste I associate with a croissant. Also, they were drenched in sugar so that was the only flavor -- sweet -- that you experienced. The bread itself had little flavor. We were both disappointed. That said, however, the cruffin was filled with a lemon creme that was AWESOME! We each wound up scooping out the creme filling and tossing the cruffin itself. Would buy another one just for the lemon creme. Oh...and the cookies? The oatmeal raisin was quite good. Intense and moist and delightful. I couldn't tell you about the chocolate chip as I wasn't allowed to try one. By all appearances, though, it was quite good. We do intend to go back as there are many treats there left to explore. Yes...the cruffin was a disappointment, but my cookies were quite nice, and I hear the call of the cakes from the display case. I intend to answer. read more

Stopped in this little jewel today and what a pleasure! They where so friendly and sweet; sold us our first ever macaroons and made my daughters day!! We each got a different sweet treat and they where superb! We will go back and the mini cakes are a must try but it was all fantastic. The sweet little guy waiting on us was so helpful with great local places to also try! I loved how sweet, helpful, and yummy the whole experience was!! read more

Just found this bakery after being here for seven months. WHY didn't anyone tell me about this fantastic place??? I bought a mini coconut cake which was sweet and moist, with coconut throughout, an oatmeal creme pie made of two of their fresh made oatmeal cookies and a center of fresh buttercream, a chocolate chip cookie...all of it was to die for. I will never go to any other bakery, they won my heart and tastebuds forever. read more

The staff member on duty was polite and genuinely hospitality-minded. It didn't feel like a quick transaction. After handing over my order, there was a mention that cakes were being baked in the back and that normally there would be more cakes in the case -- just letting me know more items were coming out. That kind of small detail says a lot about customer service. It felt thoughtful and welcoming. They had three coffee options today: cinnamon bun, pecan, and Kona. I went with the plain Kona, and it was a great cup of coffee -- smooth and flavorful. My only "complaint"? I wish the cup was just a little bigger. All in all, Pawleys Island Bakery delivered a solid breakfast experience -- good food, good coffee, and good hospitality. I'll definitely be back to try some of those cakes next time.
