I filled out their online contact form and they never bothered to call or email me. Not very reliable.

Initially I met with Attorney Fairweather about an employment case. He was amazing from the get-go;…read moreasking every detail of my case and explaining all of my options moving forward. Some of the options he presented were better than others, but at least he was honest and up front about the pros and cons to each option. Unfortunately Attorney Fairweather passed away a few months later. I requested to meet with a new attorney at Hawks Quindel. The firm made me pay an additional consultation fee to meet with the second attorney, which I thought was odd. After less than an hour in the office, the second attorney told me that I didn't have a case. Not only was I out one, but two consultation fees, and left exactly where I started. Today, I read an article where an attorney at Hawks Quindel is representing a volunteer who is suing a non-profit organization (a volunteer rescue squad) because he felt that he should be paid for his volunteer service. While I wholeheartedly agree that Paramedics deserve good pay, that volunteer KNEW what he was signing up for when he applied to be a volunteer. After looking into said volunteer, I see that he has felony convictions for Medicare fraud, in which he was ordered to pay over a MILLION dollars in unearned fraudulent claims. So he turns to suing a volunteer run ambulance service to pay back his debts? I don't think so. Hawks Quindel should be ashamed of themselves for representing a professional con artist. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this firm.

During that time, I had to repeatedly call and email, and eventually had to escalate the matter to senior leadership just to get him to speak with me. When we finally connected, he attempted to talk me out of the very case he was under contract to handle--after ghosting me for over three months. Now I am left dealing with statutory limitations due to the delay and am forced to find a new attorney. This has been an extremely unprofessional experience, and I would strongly advise others not to work with him or this firm.

Wish I could give a negative star review! After looking for…read morea specialized attorney, Gruber Law came up, so I contacted the number available on a Saturday, and spoke with a woman whom told me that someone would contact Monday. She claimed that there may be multiple legal issues within my claim, but NEVER told me that Gruber Law didn't not take these types of Bad Faith Insurance Claims (they come to in a Google search for that specific type of legal issue(s). Then, on Monday afternoon, after waiting anxiously to speak with someone, a woman named Carlie (sp)- (kind words for how she spoke and acted) called me and claimed that they do not take Bad Faith Insurance Claims. She was extremely rude, provided me the wrong number for Lawyer Refferal Services, then hung up on me. She repeatedly said how popular they are but dismissed me like I'm not even worth the minuet she gave me. Horrible experience! A little compassion goes a long way but she had none. The number she gave me was out of order and not even close to the number found online. Wouldn't use them ever in the future!

I was hurt and luckily my husband was not. Unfortunately inattentive driving is becoming the norm in Milwaukee. I called Gruber the same day and they handled it all from then on. I talked to someone in intake and they referred to my own attorney and paralegal. I had the best paralegal! Casey S. And Atty. Mike S. Casey checked in with me frequently throughout my medical recovery and secured all my records and losses. Any questions, even if I felt were mundane, were answered. They were able to negotiate a fair settlement on my behalf. Including the payment for our totaled vehicle, my injuries, medical care, and lost wages. I didn't have to worry about anything during my recovery. I didn't have to pay anything up front which was a plus. I ended up with my medical bills paid, my car loan mostly paid off with gap insurance and enough to buy a car. Since my injuries were soft tissue, I was able to settle within 6 months.
