Wish I could give a negative star review! After looking for a specialized attorney, Gruber Law came up, so I contacted the number available on a Saturday, and spoke with a woman whom told me that someone would contact Monday. She claimed that there may be multiple legal issues within my claim, but NEVER told me that Gruber Law didn't not take these types of Bad Faith Insurance Claims (they come to in a Google search for that specific type of legal issue(s). Then, on Monday afternoon, after waiting anxiously to speak with someone, a woman named Carlie (sp)- (kind words for how she spoke and acted) called me and claimed that they do not take Bad Faith Insurance Claims. She was extremely rude, provided me the wrong number for Lawyer Refferal Services, then hung up on me. She repeatedly said how popular they are but dismissed me like I'm not even worth the minuet she gave me. Horrible experience! A little compassion goes a long way but she had none. The number she gave me was out of order and not even close to the number found online. Wouldn't use them ever in the future! read more

You hear the jingle and wonder if it's true? It is! Our car was totaled by a driver that didn't stop at a stop sign. I took detailed pictures at the scene and called the police. I was hurt and luckily my husband was not. Unfortunately inattentive driving is becoming the norm in Milwaukee. I called Gruber the same day and they handled it all from then on. I didn't have to worry about anything during my recovery. I didn't have to pay anything up front which was a plus. I ended up with my medical bills paid, my car loan mostly paid off with gap insurance and enough to buy a car. Since my injuries were soft tissue, I was able to settle within 6 months. read more

WARNING TO PROVIDERS AND PATIENTS SEEKING MEDICAL THROUGH MVA INJURY! As a provider who assists patient's with injury recovery after motor vehicle accidents, we work with many attorneys in the Greater Milwaukee area. Attorney Scott Trojan was not only difficult to work with when it came to settling a motor vehicle accident with for one of our patients cases but, he was extremely hard to connect with and would not allow payment of the patients medical payments coverage despite it being available. He made us wait until settlement to be compensated then called to setup a "negotiated payment amount", which we had previously disclosed that we would not be willing to negotiate since they were withholding payment from PIP/Medpay throughout her care. We expressed that we would not reduce to what they were looking to drop to and agreed on a 10% reduction. A check came in the mail for over 15% reduction expressing "payment in full" on the check. Have called multiple times leaving messages and have yet to receive a response. Overall, this is not the type of attorney we prefer to work with and I'm sure patients would love to know what their providers experiences are before hiring an attorney. The people who provide the care and assistance in litigation for their clients should be treated with utmost respect and timely compensation. read more

Mr Gruber is not NEARLY as friendly and affable as he appears in his commercials, or in his grinning pictures on all the billboards and buses. He is stand-offish and aloof. I would say maybe he was having a bad day, but I observed his fake friendliness with a guy before me who David obviously already knew. Guess I wasn't up to his high standards of who gets his charm and who doesn't. Sorry, he just came across as sort of phony to me, presenting one persona in his advertising, and quite another in person. Unless you are someone he already knows and likes. If I could give Gruber Law offices ZERO stars I would. If your case isn't a big enough pay off for them, they will waste your time and then drop you last second! They were taking care of my case for TWO years and one day told me they are dropping my case because there wasn't enough of a pay off for them. WASTED TWO WHOLE YEARS OF MY LIFE! I just want to let the Milwaukee and Midwest know that Gruber is one of the most standup caring and professional yet kind firms anywhere in the USA. STEVEN GRUBER handled my case when I was run over by a texting driver a couple years back and he and his assistant, Jackie were more like a caring second family far and above the client lawyer relationship although that was handled with tenacity and expertise, so they may have commercials and t shirts but you get more than promised and the best protection and case solving than anywhere else on Earth. I would give them ten stars if I could. I was in a recent accident and although I may not even have a case here, a gentlemen named Matt Garmen has walked me through my options and been there for any questions and to steer me in the right direction , even though this time they spend guiding and comforting me is not bringing in any money . Time effort and caring is still there for me and I feel safer and better in the world, having them, like a second family , there for me. They hire only the best human beings and there is no doubt whatsoever that they go far and above other firms and businesses in general. I can't watch one more smarmy commercial and not speak up. I was in a terrible, not-at-all-my-fault accident a few years ago, and was assured by this scheister that he would personally handle my case, and I would be well taken care of. Not only did he eventually palm my case off on one of his assistants, but it took more than TWO years for me to see any money, and even then I ended up settling for a really paltry amount (under 35K) just to survive my medical bills and the fact I couldn't work anymore. The amount I received barely covered my medical bills, and the time delay destroyed my credit. My vehicle, which was essentially totaled, was not replaced, but instead was rebuilt, and was never the same again. I was taken in by how nice and reassuring he seemed. Don't you be. You'll be sorry, I promise. I have ongoing medical issues, ruined credit, and got a monetary "award" that was a joke and that I was essentially forced to settle for in eventual desperation because this firm did NOT fight for me at all.
