They have a convenient shuttle system so they will drop you off and pick you up if you leave your car with them for the day. I called a couple of days ago asking about tire prices and the employee gave me a very thorough explanation of options. Given that my tire size is somewhat rare, he said he would give me a call the next day to see if he could come up with any additional tire options for me. He followed up the next day, with lots of information, great detailed explanations and his honest recommendations (based on my budget). As Zach, the front desk guy, told me if your car uses 0W-30 synthetic oil, they will charge less than 5W-30. Has anyone in Rochester got this? Ironically, I called ahead and provided my car's year, model with the type of oil that I have been used for years which is full synthetic, on the phone they told me the amoun lesser than they charged without asking for VIN number as Zach said to know which weight of the oil. Bottom line is be careful to bring your car for service at this auto shop in Rochester, MN because they will find a way to charge you more with their "complex but not straight upfront" as simple as engine oil service. Surely they won't see me again. BTW, Zach gave me a long list of courtesy diagnosis recommended fixes in which I'm not sure I trust it due to what happened to oil change service I got.
