By comparison, Park Place BMW has one advisor working and have NEVER pressured me I went for an oil change and overheard the service advisor talk about his new Hellcat (Hello commissions) as he tried to turn my $125 mobil 1 oil change into a $2500 bill, NONE OF Which was recommended by the mechanic. Anyways I notice when going to work early morning my Chevy Trailblazer (Who I named Old Faithful) was reving really hard. As I continued to drive it out to where I had to go the Check Engine light went on. I had this problem before which is an Engine Misfire. On one of the Sparkplugs and Cylinders. I had contact my relative and she sent me to Midas In Eden Prairie, MN. Boy DID I MAKE A BIG MISTAKE. Midas told me I had to replace a whole cylinder head!! IT was gonna cost me $6k!! That is like a good used car! On top of that they we're inspecting other parts of the car that was not necessary! Unfortunately, I had to pay $122 for the diagnostic but I by change had contacted on Craig's List another Mechanic who referred me to Erik. I had told Erick and he himself was shocked at my story! He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay. The California hotshot mechanics who worked on classic cars couldn't find my exhaust leak in time for the trip, and I had to drive that trip with no heat and the windows partly open due to the leak. That was brutal, but we made it! Just to ensure we knew Rochester was as far as she wanted to go, she started growling and screaming as soon as we got here. I knew what I had to do. I looked up all the auto mechanics in town to find an old soul who'd owned, driven and worked on full-size Broncos back in the day. Yes, I found Joe, and he, unlike all the others I asked in California and across the country, found the leaks, hidden away, and welded them shut blind. He gave me a good deal for the time it took, and it's not given me trouble since then. I recommend Joe for vehicles requiring an old pro, someone who takes their time to do the job right, and someone who cares about giving you a great result that will last. I can't say more because I don't want you to expect his above and beyond, but he was fantastic!

The one thing I like about Automotive Procare is that they take pictures and send you information on exactly what was checked, what is looking wrong. It was nice to see that issues I brought up in the past at other auto shops weren't addressed, such as air filter issues. Here, they seem to access the whole car! They also provide a shuttle to get ya home as they work on your car, which is a plus for me. Following the full car assessment, I wish I got a call regarding the quote, rather I had to call in to get the quote as I waited for quite awhile. They did ask to keep my car overnight to look at it in the morning which I said yes too. I called in late afternoon the following day as I was concerned I didn't get a call back. Which they replied it's been good and ready all day. It would've been nice to get a call since I had to push back a lot of errands. Overall, I'm happy with the service. I can't say if I know the cost of my services was fair or not, but my car is in working order again!
