The mango peach was very good! Tasted perfectly balance between mango and peach with neither over powering the other. The coconut lime was outstanding! I wish I would have bought more. It was slightly tart from the lime, creamy and sweet from the coconut. I sadly forgot to take a picture of this one but you could see little flecks of the lime zest in the popsicle. I chose the strawberry Hawaiian shaved ice bowl with chocolate drizzle and Moochie pieces. It's not a true Hawaiian shave ice, if you've had it in Hawaii. However, the strawberry flavor was very real and fresh tasting. The chocolate drizzle made it taste like a chocolate covered strawberry. The Moochie squares were just an OK addition to the bowl. It's $9.50 for the bowl I got. I thought that was a little expensive since that's the price I paid for a shave ice in Hawaii. I sat down on a shaded patio table set next to the market, and in less than five minutes on a 73° day, it was already almost a bowl of soup. Good thing I grabbed a straw because that's the way I ended up eating it. They do give you a small compostable scoop, which is way too small. It's also served in a paper dish, which I appreciate the sustainability effort, but it turned very flimsy since my shave ice had melted. Overall, I think the product tasted good but was a little overpriced and I did not like the serving methods.

I was there last weekend with family and the one individual who was manning the place stated at one point that it was her first day as manager and then changed her story to it being her first day working for the company. We were the only customers in the store so I know that she was not overwhelmed. While in the store, I was asked to open a very small sized purse in case I had placed something in my bag. There is nothing on the floor of the shop but bottles that I would never have taken and would never have been able to fit into a purse. I asked the salesperson what she was talking about and she could not give me any reasoning. I opened my purse and she had nothing to say. I was humiliated and devastated by someone questioning me and threw away the many pies that I had purchased. I have never had anyone in my life question me. My other family members stated that the pie they had tried was undercooked and had a fake taste to the whipped topping. After telling them what I had experienced they tossed theirs in the garbage as well wanting nothing more to do with such a company. I vouched for this company as I had tried their pies at farmers markets but now, I will no longer do so. I sent an email to the owners of the company who assured me that their customers were their top priority and that they would reach out to discuss what had happened. I never heard from anyone. While I understand that they are recovering from a fire, this situation was absolutely unacceptable and they never followed through. Shame on this company. There was other pie places to try and you should find one of them.

To my surprise the place had a very small selection of items but I did get a tres leches cake slice with a bed of milk that it sat in and a flakey Pastry horn looking thing filled with creamy sweet filling, custard I think. Overall I'm glad that I stopped over to sample some of the goods because they both were great especially the cake in the cold milk, I'm going to steal that and do it with any cake slice in the future.

He helped us pick out two boxes of assorted chocolates which we enjoyed later that night while drinking a Blanc de Blancs champagne. Melt's chocolates are uniquely flavored and taste sublime. They are some of the best sold anywhere, including Europe and Japan. Only open on weekends and holidays, Melt is worth a special journey.
