We stopped in a couple times afterwards for ice cream before they moved, but this was my first visit at their new, larger location on Appleton Ave. I can't speak to their homemade treats because I've only gotten ice cream while there, but it looks like they have a good selection. If I remember correctly from looking around at their old location, they may have gluten free/gluten friendly items. Cedar Crest is my favorite brand of ice cream, so big props for carrying it. What I love the most, though, is Chocolate Falls is the only place I know that you can get a flavor from Cedar Crest called Deep Space, which is Blue Moon mixed with dark chocolate and swirls of frosting. Blue Moon is my favorite ice cream flavor and mixing it with dark chocolate takes it to another level. Both last year and this year Chocolate Falls stocked Deep Space and I hope they continue to do so.

I ate the double chocolate truffle, so rich, dark and decadent, and then followed it up with raspberry pate de fruit which was bright, sparkling and REALLY popped compared to the richness of the chocolate. The sourdough dark chocolate pretzels are something I personally could eat an entire bag of, so they're plenty dangerous and could be paired with beer, whisky or your favorite cocktail easily. Soft carmel was chewy but only JUST chewy enough where I didn't feel like I'd have to go to the dentist to get my fillings redone like some carmels I'm legit afraid of. The white chocolate raspberry ganache truffle was smooth and creamy like how you picture white chocolate. The hint of raspberry lingers around at the end of the flavor - for those who love raspberry I could even seen that getting punched up a little. The Arc de Triomphe (get it, the name is French?!!) is the peanut butter truffle. It's a souped-up Reese's on steroids.
