I took advantage of Becky's $50 for $75 Yelp voucher and had a Brazilian, upper lip, and brow wax done. She was booked for the day I wanted to visit, but put me on her cancellation waitlist and reached out to me when an opening came up. She also made sure to consult me beforehand about what I wanted, and double checked with me when I arrived. Other places I've gone to for Brazilians work quick; however, knowing that I had other wax requests, Becky took her time with me and made me feel comfortable during my appointment. She even managed to put a bit of shape in my brows without thinning them--which is awesome, considering that I only do my brows enough to clean them up but not so much shape them. I thought I had already reviewed Becky when I was in Ashland but I guess not. This was meant to be an update. We were in town for the weekend and I really needed to get my brows waxed. I have enough eyebrows for at least 3 people. It was getting heavy on my eyelids so I went to Yelp for guidance. This place was the first to pop up and I requested an appointment. We were on a tight schedule and I only had two windows of opportunity but Becky was able to see me that same day. She has a room in a small office building with maybe six parking stalls, including handicap. It was easy to find. Becky herself was very personable and pleasant. Light touch which is always appreciated. We made small talk while she worked and I was in and out in 15 minutes. This may come off odd, but Becky did a great job accommodating me with the arch of my brows. A lot of waxers that are not of the Asian persuasion argue with me about how much I want to take off. They are always about how lucky I am to have full brows, beautiful thickness, blah blah blah. I want to take off as much as I can get away with it. Becky didn't exactly agree with me but we tailored out an arch that was agreeable to my face. Now for the most fantastic part. It's been a month, 30 DAYS and I do not look like Chewy in training. I could use a little trim on the length but for everything else, it's like I just got them done!! Becky did a phenomenal job. read more

It has been truly a wonderful experience being in Becky's waxing care. I used "big name" chain waxing services for years in Los Angeles before moving to Ashland, and I didn't know that I wasn't receiving a high quality experience. I've seen Becky several times, and I truly appreciate her attention to detail and communication. She checks in with me through the process, listens to what I want, and is extremely thorough in her process. It is significantly less painful than what I was used to, and I'm not experiencing inflammation or any redness after her work. The hair has been growing back thin and smooth, where as in the past I've gotten ingrown hairs and other issues using other people's services. Amazing attention to detail! So I travel a bit and end up getting waxes done by quite a few different people. I always do my research and try to find the absolute best person in the area. I've learned that I do best when I go to a one person business who specializes in waxing rather than going to a salon where someone might be certified in waxing, nails, massages etc. Becky is exactly that.
