I had the same bad experiences as the other "one star" reviewers. It seems all of BB&B physical stores are closed and there is only www.bedbathandbeyond.com left. DON'T BUY FROM THEM, MY STORY IS WORSE THAN THE OTHERS! I've filed a dispute with my credit card company. B,B&B (or whoever is operating under that name) MUST BE SHUT DOWN! I couldn't get a refund on a defective product they sent ($96) unless I paid them $23.95 for THEIR return shipping label (and I don't believe they would refunded me even if I did). They threatened if I used my own means of return (UPS or Fedex) they would take no responsibility for item and would charge me extra for any expenses incurred while investigating! I've gotta be honest, I've never been a fan of this store and the many like it. Lots of interior décor type stuff, linens, bedding, dishes, kitchen wares and house wares in general. There's plenty of selection but a lot of it seems quite gimmicky in my opinion. Like the "As Seen on TV" stuff. Things you don't actually need but when you see them you think "woah that's neat, I could really use this". And it's one item that handles the task of two items only half as efficiently. But so worth it... The prices are kinda high on most things but you'll be taken in by the literal mountains of neat things available to you. The display walls run overwhelmingly from floor to ceiling - that has to be a fire hazard! I always feel so hemmed in here. Going back outside is like exiting a movie theater where the sun was up when you went in and now it's dark out. Welcome back to reality from the dark hole of rampant, unchecked consumerism. Ordered a quilt online for store pick up. Says order will be ready in 2 hrs. Went to pick up once I got the email that it was ready for pick up. Had to call the number a second time because we no one showed up. Then they said they didn't have our order and that customers are coming to pick up before the item is ready. Another employee had to find it, after we went in to complain. The employee running the curb side pickup didn't put the paperwork on my item and just set it aside in the wrong place. Thank God for the girl that came out to our car to help. Wish I knew her name cause she's the only one that knows anything there. read more

I came to this location for an in store pick up but I can honestly say I will never purchase anything at this location ever again! The register that was open was the customer service register and the cashier who's name is Allayah was all but friendly. and very nonchalant! She couldn't even manage to locate my purchase, someone else had to do it. Mind you I placed the order after 8am this morning and received confirmation at 9am sharp that my order was ready to be picked up, I arrived at the store a little after 11am expecting my order would be ready for pick up at customer service but instead I had to wait for someone to go get it which about 10 minutes! Not to mention,they didn't even place my purchase in a bag! Another customer who was waiting to be checked out complained that Allayah acted like she didn't want to work! Never again! read more

Bed Bath & Beyond has its purposes... I guess being my age... a lot of people are getting married = registry lists. It's pretty easy to look online and then get a gift from the store or have it ship directly to the happy couple. I tend to avoid any location in the Arboretum like the plague since it seems like a chore getting in and out of there easily. Still have a small problem with the fact that I am always finding myself using their 20% coupons they send me in the mail. I guess I think it would be less of a hassle to actually lower the prices of the entire store, then to keep up with mailings and coupons in that manner. read more

I forgot to post this a while back.... Really great customer service here. A few months ago I came in to switch out moccasins I had received for Christmas, and the manager couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. He pulled out all the colors they had and I had to get 2 sizes larger and he just kept going and grabbing them, and pairs for my bf and mom lol. So kind and nice, we will return soon bc of him. read more

Went in yesterday to look for a couple things and was extremely surprised to find this store in a very unkempt state: wrapping paper and materials on the floor in certain sections, many shelves bare or near-bear throughout the store, towels unfolded or only partially folded, etc. The place gave every appearance of being on the threshold of closing its doors for good. Not sure what's going on with BB&B. read more

I generally like browsing at BB&B... but the only downside to this store is the fact that they have so much merchandise crammed into it that it can be a little messy and cluttered... especially around the holidays. But the employees are pretty friendly and will help you if you are looking for something in particular. I have been in a couple of times without my coupon, and they typically have one hand that they will scan for you if you ask. Like Alessandra, I am also impressed with their liberal return policy - that is certainly worth an extra star in my book! read more

Okay, I know it's Bed Bath, and everyone knows Bed Bath. But there were a few things regarding my experience at this location that I feel are worth sharing. For starters, all you brides-to-be, I'm sure you know that this is the wedding registry central - the ultimate place for all your needs as a new couple. BUT, not sure if you knew the following - they make it super easy for all of your returns after you get everything home and realize that you went a bit scanner crazy, and don't need the waffle maker you thought you couldn't live without. They happily will take your items back, with our without receipt, box or no box, used or non used. If they sell the item, they will take it back (hint: even if you don't purchase it from a Bed Bath). More often than not they will even give you cash back if you don't feel you need anything else. One last thing: many of you may already know that they take expired coupons, but you may also want to know what the helpful girl behind the counter mentioned to me: that they accept ALL competitors coupons as well - Macy's, TJ Maxx, linens and things, jcpenney, etc. You bring it in, they'll honor it. Just today I brought back in a colander that I couldn't get the sticky price tag off of (why do they do that?) and an ironing board without the packaging, no receipt, and got cash back. I was in Bed Bath &Beyond on Pineville-Matthew Rd. 6/18/19 , when we got to the checkout the line to the right of me got finished first, so I tuned to go to that line. The cashier said to me, this line is closed ..Then she tuned to the lady in front of me and said I will take you .. I think that was rude and she was rude. So I said, you just told me the line is close but you turn the this lady to come check out with you. She said I'm taking the next in line. NO NO you said closed to me .My daughter told the cashier that that was not right. (Words said )We told the cashier we did not want to talk to her . She was very RUDE. Horrible experience at this location! I came in to look at the foot massagers, and asked the cashier if she could help me. she came over there, then asks me to get the name of it and come back and tell her. I couldn't figure out the name so I asked a employee and he called another employee named "David" over to help. I literally could see "David" down the hall, so I raised my hand up to notice me and he did. Then as he walks to me another woman asks him for help so he literally stops and goes and helps her. I STILL waited until he was done. So he gets done, starts walking back to me and then HELPS SOMEONE ELSE. I was like are you serious ???? So then after standing there for 10 minutes I finally go get the original employee and he helps me. This place has terrible customer service. read more

I was in there a couple days ago. I had a return to make from my gift registry. The one who did the return for me messed up. And it was a problem that couldn't be fixed. The manager on duty was fantastic!! I can't believe that I don't remember his name!!! He was a tall gentleman! I knew the mistake couldn't be fixed. And so did he. I was gonna lose out on what happened. But he helped me out quickly and he offered me a great deal! He turned a messy situation into a good experience! For that... Terrible customer service in the bedding department when we asked an employee for help. She ignored us when we said excuse me while she was standing in the department and it took 3 times for her to acknowledge us when we politely asked if we can ask her a question. She then said she had a phone call right now. She currently was not even on a call when she said that. She said she would help after she got off the phone. We said okay no problem so she proceeds to make a call and we wait. She then gets off the phone and walks the other direction away from us to another department. Instead of helping customers who had been waiting for her she start talking with another employee. So we left and did not buy a king comforter from there because of her we will take our business elsewhere! read more

Hands down the BEST customer service and return policy! You can return anything you buy there and they give you full credit. It is worth every penny! I love shopping here. Bedbathandbeyond is usually my last choice when searching for home goods. Their prices are always higher than everywhere else, sometimes laughably. Try Home Goods, Target, Penneys, TJ Maxx, etc. I don't find the quality to justify the prices read more
