And they were absolutely right. Their location is connected to the parking deck off of 4th street. It's by appointment only so make sure you set that up prior which we did. He took the time to ask what we were looking for, our story behind the vow renewal, where we were going and even asked what I envisioned for Hubs! He made the entire process easy and gave recommendations when we got stumped on style. We picked out everything from color and fabric to even the design that goes on the inside of the vest? Whaaaa?? I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

We shopped for 20 minutes for a suit, had to pull our own sizes and then when we shed about a dressing room we were told "yeah they're open" as she walked away. My fiancé came out and sod in front of the mirror where another said associate continued to ignore us then made an over the top effort to help another couple who had just walked in the door! When she finally took a breath, I had to interrupt and asking her if we could get help too! Unbelievable! When we identified my fiancé needed a different size jacket, she just pointed to the wall. I suppose so we could go get the right one; how helpful. The 3 working were useless. If we didn't need a suit for our wedding, we would have never spent a dime. Everyone of them needs to be remediated for their customer service presence.
