The manager on duty, Stacy, overhead me questioning the teller and asked to see my receipt. She took one look at said "follow me". We walked back to the row the tool was on and she grabbed a new one, handed it to me and said here you go have a nice day. No questions asked. I was thrilled. I purchase from Harbor Freight a couple times a year and am always happy with the product and the price. Now I am can say that the customer service is great as well. They sold me a $600 piece of trash and won't even refund the money I paid for it or give me a credit or do anything really. I feel completely lied to and taken advantage of. You can't trust that the gear this company is giving you is actually in the condition they say it's in, or that if you order something that they will even get you the whole order. I think with mine they missed a whole box. When I picked it up though, their staff would not let me go into the facility to make sure that had everything we need. They said they loaded everything and made me sign for it. I spent hundreds more dollars building a custom-made platform for this shed to go on, only to find once I unboxed the thing that it was completely useless. It took me months just to build the platform, unpack everything and find out how much was missing. They didn't even include an instruction manual and it took me weeks to find that as well.

Tuesday-March 2, 2021.. My wife and I stopped by at their location in Bountiful. We went in,…read moreconsulted with Michelle and picked out some drapes with sheer curtains that we were happy with, regardless of the price. She then scheduled us an appointment the very next day for more accurate measurements and possibly installation at our request. Wednesday-March 3, 2021.. I took the day off from work to be home for when their service guy stops by for our 12:30pm appointment. Well, at 12:45pm I get a text message from my wife who was at work saying.. the service guy, by the name 'EFIAFI FEKITOA called her and left a voicemail. He kept saying repeatedly, "If he really needed to come over to the house" and that he insisted that he'll just email us with a quote. My wife was busy so she just sent him a quick text saying, "Yes, my husband is at home expecting you." He then replied to her text by insisting that he'll just send an email with everything on there and that really didn't need to stop by. It is now 1:30pm and still a "No-Show" from this Tongan. So I call their place and Michelle answered, I briefly explained what happened and she transfers me directly to his number. He answers and I asked him what happened to our appointment. He then went on about some BS about why he felt it wasn't necessary to come by. Our conversation started to get heated at this point and he could feel my frustration. Then it hit me... the way he was talking to me the whole time, he looked down at us. It was so obvious! He's Polynesian, Tongan to be exact and so are we. "He knew we were Tongan when he seen our names and automatically, he thought it was a waste of time because we can't afford it." It hit me when his voice raised over the phone and said, "It's $2,000" and that's with out installation! So I asked him.. "So is that why you didn't want to come over to the house!?!" I lost a day of work to wait for you and you call/text my wife (who was at work) insisting that you really didn't need to come over to the house... "Why?!?" We wanted those drapes, we wanted it done, installation and all, plus I wanted an estimate on new horizontal blinds for our sliding door to the back porch. Smh.. (As if he were paying for it) My wife and I had a budget of $5,000. As long as it was under that amount, we were excited to get it done.. Her, more so than me. Well, though there are many other places to shop drapes/curtains from.. Budget Blinds in Bountiful lost my business, all in thanks to an unappreciative and exclusively judgemental and very unprofessional and horrible, I mean.. VERY HORRIBLE and rude employee!! He needs to be fired!! HE'S CLEARLY NO GOOD FOR THEIR BUSINESS!!!
