I purchased a gift card on March 3, 26 for $100 as a wedding gift. The gift card never showed up. I called customer service several times trying to get a refund. Bed Bath and Beyond just lost a customer. They are going down hill and have been for a while. I tried to use a 20% off coupon (they send 100 of those in the mail every month, it seems). I just received the coupon last week, and it doesn't have an expiration date on it. The cashier said their coupons haven't been working and they aren't sure why. How is that my problem? You should still honor the coupon, especially if there is something wrong with the coupon BB&B sent! So, she didn't take my coupon. She could have at least given me the 20% off. My rant... I am boycotting Bed, Bath & Beyond until further notice. I took my pup with us today as I do every Saturday. We went shopping in many stores. The World Market loved her, I took Mav to Sports Clips to have his hair cut. Even Lowe's and Discount Tire didn't mind her being there. The people all loved her. I was in Bed Bath & Beyond. Some guy that works there, short, fat, old, and a apparently stupid, probably a manager, asked me what breed my dog was. I told him she is an American Bulldog. He replied with.. "Oh, I needed to make sure it wasn't an aggressive breed because we aren't supposed to have dogs in here." First of all, let's get things straight... There is no such thing as an aggressive breed, only bad, negligent or ignorant pet parents. Second, I hate screaming, undisciplined kids, but you don't see anyone saying they aren't welcome. Third, maybe I should have asked him the sum of 3 and 4 to ensure he was even qualified to work there. If people do their research, they would know that statistics show that Labors put more people in the hospital than any other breed. To another point, my dog's toe nails are pink. Would an aggressive dog even allow that? Gotta love idiots! Bed, Bath & Beyond will never see a penny of my money. If my sweet, pup can't go, neither can my money. They have every right to tell me my pup isn't welcome. I also have every right to never spend a penny there and tell everyone about my experience. read more

Whatever you do DON'T do business with these people or with buy buy baby. We've had nothing but horrible experiences both times we've bought something from them. First months ago we bought a crib and were going to have it delivered to our house. They continually called us numerous times to let us know they couldn't deliver because we lived in a remote area. We DO NOT live in a "remote"area. We live in a town of over 20,000 people. We do not live in the country AT ALL. So then their excuse for not delivering is that the driver only delivers to our area once a month...and that it would be another month and a half before we got it. This was after they had already given us a delivery date and then delayed it by an entire month... Well that didn't work because we needed the crib then. My husband then demanded a refund and had to jump through hoops just to get our money back. Fast forward 8 months later. We decide to buy a car seat since our LO is outgrowing his infant car seat. So I decided to buy 2 seats online to compare them at home. I wanted to sit my child in them to see which one was more comfortable for him and also up measure them to see which one would fit in the back of our car. I looked at the return policy. 60 day guarantee supposedly. Nothing about how they won't accept returns if the box is opened or if it's a baby item. When I show up to the store they refused to give me a return. They had multiple excuses as to why. First the guy "inspecting" it said he saw a hair on it. A HAIR. It was probably mine since I've been experiencing postpartum hair loss. I ask what hairs? The guy wouldn't show me. Then the lady is saying they won't return it just because the box is opened and it's a baby item. So frustrated i leave the store to go get my husband. He goes in and now they're claiming there's a stain on it. They wouldn't show us where the stain supposedly was. Not only that but they didn't even take the carseat out of the box. How can you inspect something without even taking it out of the box? They basically called us liars telling us the carseat was used. We literally had it 5 days in our house before hoping to return it the following weekend. Nowhere in their return policy does it say you can't return an open box. How do they expect someone to compare carseats if you can't even open the box to look at it? Then they tried to say it was used because I placed my son in it. Um yeah for a good 5 seconds before he screamed and cried by how uncomfortable the seat was. Do they not have car seats in their store to look at and try out? You better believe they'd sell those to make a dime in a heart beat instead of saying "oh we can't sell those since they're opened." yeah right! Well my husband and I are planning to have more kids and you better believe we will never spend another dime at either bed bath and beyond or buy buy baby. We told the manager that and he said "that's fine." They don't care about their customers AT ALL. We said we would let everyone in our community know not to shop there and the manager just said "as long as you tell them the truth." LOL you better believe it! We will tell everyone about how they lied and made up excuses for not taking our return and had the gall to call US the liars. read more

Bed Bath & Beyond has been one of our favorite stores for years. The employees are so calm, friendly and helpful. I wish all retail Tyler stores would allow only seeing eye dogs. I am glad we won't see that mean poster and her dog. I nearly fell in a store when a dog came in front of me. read more

As good a Bed Bath & Beyond as any. Great parking, large store with plenty of selection. Though some things are a little over-priced, their towels are great value. Though I've been here many times (always check for the sale sections throughout), I went here the other day with a friend who was picking up a long list of gifts for a wedding. We called them in, went to pick them up at the scheduled time, and though everything was there (no easy feat), it was not wrapped as requested. I don't know if they can't wrap until it's been purchased or if they missed that part. Anyway, everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and helpful, and it's very clean. read more

The store itself is great. Most of the staff are friendly but I did have an issue with one employee. Trent was our cashier when we were returning an item and he originally asked us if we wanted our money back on our card or store credit. I bought the item with my credit card and he said that he could only do store credit...??? Other than him it is an average Bed Bath and Beyond. read more

I love this store. If I have a problem with it, it's that it's got so much stock it feels a little cramped. You need to be a hard-core, dedicated shopper to get the best out of the experience.
