Bed Bath & Beyond is a go-to for several items in my house, specifically Starbucks Verismo coffee pods since with a coupon, it is the best price around. I would never shop in a BB&B without a coupon, as their prices are usually higher than CVS or Amazon, but are competitive with coupons. Also, you CAN use coupons on top of sale items, which is great! I was at another location when I purchased coffee pods, and a sign read they were 20% off, and I used my 20% off coupons on each box. I didn't realize until I got home that the original sale price wasn't reflected, and after a quick phone call they told me to bring my receipt to any store and they would refund the $15 difference. I went into this store a week later and the employee was very difficult and short with me about my receipt. It was a relatively simple fix, but she spent 5 minutes trying to argue that I did have the discount and that was end of the story since they were currently not on sale, and kept going in a circle acting like I was incompetent. She finally got a manager who looked up that in fact the items had been on sale and he was able to refund me the discount. I won't let one employee deter me from a store I enjoy, but her hostility was not appreciated! All the employees on the floor I've encountered have been super friendly and always smile at customers. If they can't answer a question, they are quick to enlist help from co-workers. The store is well stocked for it's size, and they always have clearance sections and lots of holiday/seasonal items. read more

Rude and slovenly at best. Argued with me when I returned a once used $26 made in China wok that had delaminated all over our stir fry and ruined dinner. I wanted to exchange and asked if they had any brand name oriental cookware and the response was no, look online. This store is full of expensive buyouts and junk. I saw the same wok for sale at Target for $14.99. Walmart had a similar one for $5.99. read more

I go to Bed Bath in westlake quite frequently. I always take my 20% off coupon with me. This last time I didn't have it but I needed a big ticket item and knew it will still be cheaper here than online. Sure enough they had a 20% off sale, same as what I would have gotten had I the 20% off coupon. When I checked out the gal asked if I had a coupon and then taught me how to have the ones which I usually get text to my phone resent. In ten seconds I had another 20% off the already reduced item. I get Breville appliances because they are the best. it's great that BB carries this brand. I never would have got such a great savings or, and this is important, had an interaction with an employee who really did care about what I needed and wanted. Let's keep supporting good stores who care about their customers. BB is the only retail store who consistently reaches out with 20% off coupons. And that's why I go there and recommend them. read more

I had a rather disappointing experience here when I went to start my wedding registry. I was expecting a fun experience with my fiance, taking our time, waltzing around the store with the fun little registry gun and arguing over whether we really need a waffle maker or not. What we got was our own personal "wedding consultant" who was really just the store manager, and who seemed to have a personal goal to get us to put the most expensive items in the store on our registry. I was up front with him from the get go. I am not a 22 year old bride who is starting her grownup life with her husband to be. I've been living in sin for the past 2 years and we already have all of the essentials. But of course, he did not listen to a word I said. He walked us around each department of the store and we were forced to make decisions on the spot about things any normal couple would need time to discuss. And I am not kidding about the hard up-selling he was doing. $300 knife set? $80 for FOUR wine glasses? Silverware that was $60 for ONE place setting?!?!?! I don't know if he thought he was dealing with Westlake's version of William and Kate or what, but it was just ridiculous. I left the store feeling defeated and overwhelmed. Then I spent 4 hours that night pretty much redoing my registry online. I hate the fact that BB&B is the most convenient place to register for your guests (the 20% off coupons and the fact that they are in pretty much in every city some of the few pluses). If there was another option, I would definitely have taken my business someplace else. read more

This is the the first time i write a review about any thing on any website, but i was so angry from my shopping experience today at that bed bath and beyond, that i had to look them up online, and i was not surprised to see that they have a 1.5 star rating on yelp (which is too much for the staff at that shop). I wanted a Philips Shaving machine, its looked, so i waited 20 min to find somebody to ask to open the display cabinet, a floor manager walked by, i said: excuse me (with a smile) she did not acknowledge me and continued to walk, but i asked her to open the display cabinet any way, she stooped 20 meters away from me, did not respond to me, but called somebody on her phone, i stood there shocked, not sure if i was helped or not, after a while, somebody came and opened the cabinet for me, he asked would that be all for you, i replied no, me and my wife are still shopping, he replied with a very serious tone and facial expression while walking away from me: THIS WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU AT THE REGISTER. There is more than one register, he jolted away from me expecting me to know which register he choose to put the product on. After finding the cashier, she was not much different,simply she was rude. I hope somebody from corporate would read this review, so if he is wondering why this particular shop is not doing well,or why its getting bad reviews, his wonders would be answered. I think that the people that work in this shop, do not care about it, or about weather it will do well or not, i think there is a culture of disrespect for the customer. read more
