I visited Prosource a couple of times in the past (ordered carpeting, tile, and hardwood flooring)…read morethrough them in the past) and saw that they now had Glass Shower doors (and we were in the market for new shower doors!) . I requested a quote and followed up a few times...never did receive the final quote (I received one quote but it was the wrong frame material and there was supposed to be a corrected quote...that I never received" AND the quote did not have any approximate measurements on it so I could not accept it as ut was submitted anyway...strange that it was EXTREMELY (3x the cost) expensive compared to the custom glass quotes (2) I received. (I suspect the dimensions that the company quoted were incorrect but there wasn't anything written on the quote) The last I heard (SEPT 2) was "We have a new Basco representative, our pricing must come from but he has not gotten back to me yet. As soon as I receive it, I will get the quote over to you. Sorry for the delay. " I never followed up after that. The reason I go to Prosource is they have a list of decent installers (at least for flooring and tile) And the people working at ProSource used to be extremely knowledgeable....I did not get that impression this time.

He failed to order enough carpet to cover it, so when the installer came out it was a foot and a half short. THEN they wanted to charge me almost $700 MORE to reorder it correctly. Meanwhile all my furniture has been sitting outside under a tarp for 2 days while I tried to resolve this with them. Horrible customer service. ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. There are many places you can but carpet. Go ANYWHERE but here.

I would never shop in a BB&B without a coupon, as their prices are usually higher than CVS or Amazon, but are competitive with coupons. Also, you CAN use coupons on top of sale items, which is great! I was at another location when I purchased coffee pods, and a sign read they were 20% off, and I used my 20% off coupons on each box. I didn't realize until I got home that the original sale price wasn't reflected, and after a quick phone call they told me to bring my receipt to any store and they would refund the $15 difference. I went into this store a week later and the employee was very difficult and short with me about my receipt. It was a relatively simple fix, but she spent 5 minutes trying to argue that I did have the discount and that was end of the story since they were currently not on sale, and kept going in a circle acting like I was incompetent. She finally got a manager who looked up that in fact the items had been on sale and he was able to refund me the discount. I won't let one employee deter me from a store I enjoy, but her hostility was not appreciated! All the employees on the floor I've encountered have been super friendly and always smile at customers. If they can't answer a question, they are quick to enlist help from co-workers. The store is well stocked for it's size, and they always have clearance sections and lots of holiday/seasonal items.

My first conversation was the office manager (who was polite and professional) asking an extraordinary amount of questions prior to a visit including measurements which I felt that was the job of the person coming out to provide an estimate. I was given a quote of 40-60K for a small Lakewood bathroom (note this was before anyone actually saw my bathroom.. why is this done?). Then I was scheduled out several weeks in advance. The day of my appointment, I took off of work. About a half hour prior to the appointment time, it was cancelled. I get it, stuff happens. I was a bit put off by the last minute cancel and the wasted day off. I went to reschedule and they had nothing for several weeks. I asked if they can make an exception since they were the ones to cancel and they could not. They asked if I wanted a zoom appointment (not sure how that would work???). I live 10 minutes away from their office. In the mean time I had 3 other local contractors (who had all been recommended) come out. All three were half of the price of the "estimate" I was given over the phone. Obviously this company does not need work. I cancelled my second appointment in an email to the company outlining my reasons.
