The Little Gym is always spotless; I frequently see staff cleaning in between class times. The gym has a restroom, a water station, some gym attire for sale, and seating for those watching their little gymnasts in class. The Little Gym has an enormous viewing window (an entire wall), and the gym maintains a comfortable air temperature. Ben has trained with four coaches since we began class. His larger class (up to 18 students at times) maintains a safe ratio of instructors to students every week. Coaches Megan, Eva, Jeremiah, and Lindsay are a dream team. Organized, professional, safety-conscious, and caring, they are teaching my son so much. My taste had changed since our wedding was postponed over a year and she made every single change and stayed without our original budget. I wanted fairytale, but before I was doing more colors and then I decided I wanted a more ethereal feel, so we revamped EVERYTHING and she created exactly what I wanted in her studio. She created multiple centerpieces to choose from and we arranged everything in her place to exactly what I wanted. She did samples of the high and low centerpieces, my bouquet, the girls' bouquets, even the boutonnières and corsages. She also had all of the accompaniments, from the floating candles, all of the hurricane glass for down the aisle, etc. They do it all! She even was spray painting asparagus fern for me to go with my dusty blue and white color palette. Even her stands for the florals was gorgeous. For some pieces, like our ceremony arch, she constructed it all herself. She also moved pieces around from ceremony to reception so we didn't have to buy the same pieces twice. She also set up all of my homemade decor/signs/etc. and decorated them with florals to match. It was everything I ever wanted in wedding flowers, they truly felt en vogue. The flowers lasted SO LONG too, we had them for over a week in our house and our parents houses, and they were so stunning. They made sure everything had the proper water supply and was misted, especially because it was July so it was hot! The photos of the flowers speak for themself! I thought that we could do a lot of the things that a wedding planner could do and save some money but at the same time we had so many things to worry about it would be less stressful for us at the wedding to have a wedding planner who we could rely on to make sure everything went smoothly. After everything has been said and done, I could not be happier that we decided to get one and that we decided to work with Rachel at Glass slipper. What I found most helpful was being able to check in with someone who actually knew what to expect. Neither of us had been married before so you can read all the books you want, sometimes you just need a little life experience to really guide some of the decisions your need to make and will likely never have to make again. Being able to talk to and email Rachel made this a little easier for us, went things were quoted and if it sounds a reasonable rate or when something went awry we were able to check in with someone who knew what you could do or alternatives. I think inevitably thing will go wrong the day of your wedding. I think things will go wrong in various levels of impact the week leading up to your wedding, from last minute sick relatives, to things that went missing, to things that weren't thought of. There was managing venders and any mishaps regarding them and working with everyone in the venue. This is where I really appreciated hiring Rachel. I felt like she really did everything she could to lessen the impact of those things we had the ability to control and really help us enjoy our day to the fullest without having to worry about the small stuff. I think that in itself was what made it worth it and I am so happy we went with Glass Slipper Wedding and Events.
