I've been coming on and off to the American Legion for 35 years and I've been selling flowers in the front for Easter and Mother's Day for just as long. Everyone there has always made my family, guests and I feel welcomed. With the added improvements this year the outside was absolutely beautiful overlooking the lake. It's an ideal place for any special occasion in your life. The situation at the bar took an unexpected turn when another bartender, who seemed to be in a pleasant mood at first, began using profanity in a soft tone when asked why he wasn't present. His exact words "Get the fuck out of here" to his own co-worker - ten times in front of all the guests who are waiting in line at the Bar and in front of the guests who are getting their appetizers. This unexpected exchange, while bizarre, didn't overshadow the overall experience but left us a bit bewildered.
