Attended a event on Sunday the 25th of July, I caught covid. I called the establishment and the management team didn't care much.

We worked closely with Shekar to iron out so many details, the menu, etc and he was just such a pleasure to work with.

Stop your search and book DJ Nik and MC Hiral!…read more A DJ and MC can truly make or break your wedding and Nik and Hiral not only made our event unbelievable but they made it unforgettable for us and all of our guests! We had a vision/vibe in mind for every event and Nik executed the vibe PERFECTLY. They had the dance floor packed the entire time - children, parents and even grandparents. My 87 year old Ba and 93 year old Dada couldn't even help themselves when it came to Nik's songs. Leading up to the wedding, this team was responsive, very helpful, and UNBELIEVABLY PROFESSIONAL! Our venue, other vendors, and even parents loved working with Nik and Hiral. Loved these two so much they are already booked for our next family wedding! Like I said - stop your search and book these two! They are INCREDIBLE

Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how incredible this team is. We met with Neil months before the wedding, and he completely understood who we were as people, our music interests and the vibes we wanted to bring to our wedding--that meant the most to us. The dance floor was popping before the Sangeet even started. They had us crowd surfing, had our friends and family raging, and had us going all night long. You have to trust me here, if you want a team that pays attention to you, your story, who you are and what you love and then can bring that to an energy level that is unmatched- this is your dream team.

I wanted to avoid…read moreSeaLife because I try to avoid going to American Dream, so that's when I found Woodbridge. It was close enough of a drive and had good enough reviews. I read that it was small, but sometimes small is good - especially with kids. They were not joking. The aquarium is actually located inside Woodbridge Center Mall. Tickets are $19.99 for adults but if you purchase them online, you can get 25% off - making it $15. I'm not sure if I'd really call this an aquarium but more of a space with several giant fish tanks of fish, and some small sharks. There was a shallow water area with one lobster, which I suspect they buy/replace from the local supermarket. They also have some random animals, like goats, pigs, chickens, birds, snakes - things you wonder why they would be at an aquarium. I guess since it's technically also a 'Wildlife' center - but it's probably because they couldn't get enough marine life. All the animals look really sad - even the fish. You can purchase food to feed the fish, and I have a feeling that's the only time they get fed because once you go near the tank, they think you're about to feed them and they all clamor and crowd towards you. Needless to say, my daughter was probably traumatized by that experience because I was pretty creeped out by it too (lol). We got through the entire "aquarium" within half an hour. You're better off saving your money for a different activity.

Included in your ticket is roughly 4 hours of good vibes, dancing, socializing, and lots of great food! There was lumpia, pancit, barbecue chicken and bistec. Everything was so delicious!! There is also pizza for the children. It's a family friendly affair! :) When it was time to start some line dances, the instructors were so funny and kind. They were also very encouraging and easily explained the steps. My favorite saying of the night was "there is no missteps, just an accidental solo." And that kind of welcoming and sweet energy is what I loved so much about this studio! The owner, Tiffany Joy was an amazing host and her enthusiasm was infectious. I loved when the lights would turn down and we'd have mini dance parties in between line dances. It was such a fun time! There was also a cute photobooth experience, complete with props to capture the moment! You're able to text the photos to your phone; it was so easy to use. My only wish is that it wasn't so far from where I live - our group made the trek from Brooklyn! But honestly, it was so worth the trip and I can't wait to go back!

Tiffany first came to do a demo at his school and my son asked me to sign him up for the after school program. He has been happy each time we pick him up, and the school sends us videos of him dancing along with Tiffany and his classmates. Earlier this week I was able to take a regular Zumba class led by Tiffany at her studio and it was incredible. Tiffany is warm and energetic, truly a burst of feel good energy. Her studio is clean and calming, with a club/concert vibe in the main Zumba room. Today, I attended by son's last day of Zumba and though the classes are very different, Tiffany shows up genuine, warm and encouraging in both! She finds ways to engage both her adult and children dancers and she does so flawlessly. It was so much fun talking to my son about our Zumba classes, it opened up conversation about Zumba that wasn't there when it was just him taking the classes. One of Tiffany's missions is to connect families and communities and I think she does a great job of executing this task.

It's probably the largest hotel in the area and was hosting a film industry convention while I was there. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and my rating improved slightly this time, especially given they gave me a courtesy upgrade owing to a shortage of King bed rooms which I reserved, but there are several issues that keep the rating nearly the same. 1. Reservations are still executed centrally via Marriott and the wait time could be a moment, but was easier to navigate through the prompts this time. Staff are friendly and efficient at the front desk when one checks in and out. 2. The hotel lacks amenities of a hotel this size. It does have a pool, but has no shop evident where one could buy a charger, toothbrush or aspirin if one forgot to bring the like. 3. The upgraded King Suite had no microwave or refrigerator. The dark and smooth tile on the bathroom floor can become dangerously slippery if the shower leaks water running across that floor and the towel laid down on the floor does not catch all the runoff. You may not see the water runoff on the dark tile and could lose your footing. Be careful. The toilet paper could benefit from better placement, making it less awkward to reach. You will hunt around for light switches on the walls and next to your bed the first time entering the dark room. The televisions and room a/c unit worked well, but the a/c heating unit was a bit noisy. 4. At well over two hundred dollars a night for a King room, there is no breakfast voucher for the cafe on the ground level to the right of the entrance. The cafe has a very basic menu and they serve your order as if it's to go in a bag, with boxes inside. If you specify that you are eating in your room, that would be fine. However, it's wasteful of paper and cardboard when a plate would suffice and be easier from which to eat. As a captive audience, it's the only thing immediately within reach. A few scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, twin pancakes and small coffee is nineteen bucks. Not bad, but could and would be better if competitive options were immediately available. This hotel benefits from a lack of real competition in the immediate area. The price points are a bit high for what you get and that is a consequence of a lack of real competition in the area, inflation notwithstanding. The friendly and respectful staff deserve your attention. The people who work here from the front desk to housekeeping have been great each time. 3.2 stars

The lobby is spacious, the staff is nice-ish, & the rooms are good-ish. But then you start to notice the details ... like: - The painters tape on the peeling ceiling. - The pillows with the consistency of almost-dry cement. - The dangerously large potholes in the parking lot. - The large security deposit required that didn't correlate with the quality of the hotel. & finally, the biggest offense of all: - The super pungent, overwhelming, inexplicable smell of sewage emanating from all drains in the bathroom. Most other lodging options in the area are either really expensive or really dodgy. This hotel is one of the only options that's sorta somewhere in the middle. I probably would not stay here again.
