Kassia is located in Bedford, NH and cared for our guinea piggies for three nights this past weekend and it gave us peace of mind they were well taken cared of. Kassia has a very informative website and provides pretty much everything you need for boarding so you don't have to (cage, hideouts, etc. you just bring the food and medications if any) . Her rates are also fantastic! She has a separate room for boarders and everything is kept very clean throughout the stay. I also appreciated the updates/photos of our piggies. Small animal boarding is so hard to find around MA and the NH area so we are very grateful to have found Pup 'N Pals for all our future boarding.

When we adopted Winnie a few weeks prior, she was very anxious and unsure of basically everything. We chose Hollywood Hounds because we had read that they were well versed with anxious pups. Since Winnie has started going to daycare, she has become increasingly more confident around new people, new places, and overall has been a happier dog. Winnie loves the staff at Hollywood Hounds, and she greets them with kisses, tail wags, and wiggles every time she walks through the door. We always hear the staff excitedly greeting her as she walks into the back, and hear everyone telling her goodbye as she leaves. We check their Facebook page frequently to see photos of Winnies day. In every photo she is having an absolute blast playing with her friends, getting love from the staff, and relaxing in the shade. They have always been more than happy to be attentive to Winnie as well. Winnie has had some minor health issues since we brought her home, and we have always been able to trust Hollywood Hounds to let us know if she had any issues during the day or if they noticed anything abnormal. They have given great recommendations for trainers, vets and ways to help her settle in at home. They also have always been happy to squeeze her in for a quick nail trim or rinse off in the bath after a day of rolling in the mud. We have recommended Hollywood Hounds to anyone who is in the area, and will continue to do so, as we have had many wonderful experiences with their business. Winnie is always so excited to go to daycare, and has started to learn when she goes and now anxiously waits by the door so we don't forget to bring her to her favorite place.

This company were not only very responsive, including the owner, but they did an outstanding job in reassuring us that our puppy was in great hands! We started by making an account and profile on Chloe and it was so easy and user friendly! We then chose our time of day we wanted them to come and our preferences of how many times and how long we wanted the pet sitter to stay. When everything was booked, we met Cassandra and Alisha and Chloe loved them RIGHT away! That was something my husband and I really liked, is that the sitters who would be watching her, met her prior to us going away. All of this happened in a span of 2 weeks since our original plans of who would watch Chloe fell through. During the trip, Cassandra and Alisha were AMAZING! We received email updates with pictures after every bedtime visit (we chose 3 visits a day with just one update but you can customize to however you want!). Those pictures and updates are what got us through the week! It was great because the girls not only cleaned up fuzz and animal pieces from her toys, but also helped clean the containers that had her food in them. During that week, Chloe was on a special diet of chicken and rice as well as medicine and a powder probiotic. the girls did WONDERFUL with managing that entire situation. Jessica, the owner was also beyond amazing for getting back to us so quickly when it was the day before we left for our vacation and she had to be put on all of this medicine and special diet. This company was amazing and we will most definitely be using them again in the future and going to be requesting the same 2 girls since Chloe loved them so much! Will return Will recommend based on this visit…read moreI used the emergency veterinarian service once before, and I felt my needs were addressed, and proper medication was given for my cat who was feeling ill at the time and it seemed to solve the issue. They were also very caring and concerned about my needs as well as my cats needs. I then needed to use this regular vet service because I was thinking my cat had allergy problems while the day before my visit was scheduled. Something had happened to his back end where he was limping. They still took him in under the appointment that I had booked for his allergies. I had a first thing in the morning appointment and they were very busy even at that point I waited about a half hour after my appointment before the vet tech came in. She did some ear swabs to check for an allergy or to check for an infection and then I waited an additional 20 minutes before the results could come back andthe vet to come in the room both Treated me with care and compassion as well as they did my cat they gave me some medication's, They talked me through the treatment plan what they thought it might be. They told me that my cat did have a heart murmur which was new to me and they recommended an echocardiogram which cost around $500.Dollars. I'm willing to go ahead and do that. To provide the proper care that my cat will need moving forward with his life he is only four years old. I did ask about an x-ray for his back area due to the limping. The doctor said I could if I wanted to pay the $250 but she felt that it wasn't necessary. Let's work with the medication's first and then we'll go ahead and do the x-ray if need be and I was OK with that. She said if the injury was very severe, he wouldn't have intermediate limping he would be lame and not moving and intolerable to discomfort. So, with all this being said, I did need to make some phone calls to the vet once I started the medication and to talk over some things that I had questions about after the visit and all of my phone calls were returned and they were all met with my satisfaction and my cats. He's doing much better. We just have to run the course of the medication. I hope that anybody else who uses this veterinarian service has the same encounter me, and my handsome fella have had

My sweet ringneck dove, Peppermint, was injured and starting to show signs of an infection, and I was absolutely terrified. Birds are so delicate and incredibly good at hiding illness until it's too late, so I immediately started calling around trying to find a vet who would even see a bird. Most clinics don't, but thankfully, Bedford Pet Urgent Care told me they could see her the very same day. From the moment we arrived, I felt so reassured. The receptionist was incredibly kind. When I needed to step away to use the restroom while waiting to see the vet, she offered to have Peppermint stay with her at the front desk and interacted with her so sweetly. That level of compassion meant so much to me. The vet we saw, Dr. Penraat, was absolutely wonderful. He handled Peppermint with such gentleness and care that she immediately trusted him (so much so that she happily perched on his head after the exam to show her affection). Watching how calm and comfortable she was with him truly spoke volumes. Dr. Penraat quickly identified the issue and prescribed effective medication, which worked amazingly well. Peppermint was noticeably better in less than a week. I was beyond relieved and so grateful for the excellent care she received. To my fellow bird owners in New Hampshire: I highly recommend them. This was hands down the best veterinary experience I've ever had. Finding a vet who is knowledgeable, comforting, and genuinely caring with birds is so rare, and Dr. Penraat is truly exceptional. I toured All Dogs Gym because I was looking for a daycare where my dogs could spend the day…read moresocializing and playing with other dogs. The facility was clean, and the staff were friendly. However, I was very surprised when I asked what a typical full daycare day actually looks like. I was told the dogs play for about 1 1/2 hours in the morning, are then crated for approximately 3 hours, play another 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon, and are then crated for another 3 hours. If they're still there around 5:00 p.m., they're taken outside for a potty break before pickup. For me, that was shocking. I completely understand that dogs need rest periods, but I wasn't expecting that the majority of a full daycare day would be spent in a crate. My dogs are rarely crated at home, so this wasn't the right environment for them, especially considering the cost. I'm sharing this because I think it's an important question that many people may not think to ask. Before enrolling your dog, ask exactly what a full daycare day consists of and how much time your dog will actually be playing versus being crated. That information made my decision immediately, and I chose not to leave my dogs there.

We had a beach getaway planned for early summer (booked a year in advance) and had no idea what to do with our (then 13 week old) kitten. I searched online and immediately found all of the glowing reviews for Cat's Pajamas - I'm so glad! I spoke with Patty on the phone and she eased all of my worries about leaving our baby Leo with her. We boarded Leo for the week we were away and he was the happiest boy when we picked him back up! He is a very needy kitten (needs lots of attention and cries if he doesn't get it), so I was worried about leaving him - but no need to worry with Patty! Patty made sure to have him out for playtime regularly and sent us lots of pictures to keep us updated. Leo absolutely loved her! Plus, Patty even allowed us to bring our non-clumping litter for her to use during the week, since Leo was still too young for regular clumping (if you've ever used it, you know non-clumping litter can be a pain, but Patty didn't even bat an eye at the inconvenience of it!). We left Leo with her again at the end of the summer for a last minute weekend trip and received the same 5-star treatment! We love Patty and can't recommend The Cat's Pajamas Inn highly enough!

Patty, the owner seemed lovely. I wasn't thrilled about the size of the crates 6x4, but figured we could do a trial run for 1 night before his actual stay. We agreed on a day and time for me to bring my cat and the day before she asked if I could come at 9:00am instead of 9:30am because she was heading out for 2 hours at 9:15!! WHAT?? She thought nothing of having me bring my cat who had never been there before, shove him in a crate and the leave right after he gets there for 2 hours? The whole point of me bringing him was for her to meet him, see how he does. When I asked if it might be better to bring him later that day when she would be around, she said no I'm having company!! Again WHAT?? How much attention and time was she planning on spending with my cat who would probably have been frightened as can be. I would NEVER bring my cat there and I'm so happy that I learned what she's truly all about beforehand. Looks can be deceiving!!
