Upon entering the store we were greeted immediately by Joshua. He asked how he could help us and we told him. He introduced us to the new system they use to fit you with the right bed. It was amazing! As we were being "fitted" they had a monitor we could watch and it explained everything it was doing. My husband and I was laughing at the picture of my body. Went there to by three mattresses spent around twelve thousand dollars. I never asked for a discount just wanted honest service from a local store. I always shop local if I can and by made in America when ever possible They Sold us a additional two bed covers as They said the bed needed protection so we paid a additional fee of about a hundred dollars. We both found that at night we got so hot and their were all sorts of wrinkles under the sheet that we had a hard time sleeping. We called the store and was advised to take the bed covers off. By the way you can buy the same bed covers for 15 dollars plus shipping on Ebay. My wife asked if they would take it back and he said he had to check with management We never heard back so I called and he told me they can't take it back and to put it on Facebook Marketplace Really Dude So after twelve Grand you burn me for less,then thirty dollars worth of garbage. i did tell him how I felt IN No uncertain terms. Unfortunately we have to post this bad experience with BedMart. After giving it time and much thought, we decided that this would be prudent, even though Corporate asked him and he said he did not yell at us, we still were compelled to share or experience. My husband and I walked in to BedMart on Hana Highway on May 24, 2023 hoping to buy a mattress. We were met by Brian who welcomed us to the store and suggested we both lie on a specific bed which would determine which type of mattress would be better for us, and so we did. After the results, we were suggested by Brian to try one of the mattresses that he said would fit the computer's recommendation. So we both proceeded to lie on the mattress. I felt that it didn't meet my needs and immediately Brian said to me something like, "you seem like you've already made up your mind." At that point we really didn't. And he started to get angrier and say things about me that wasn't very nice in a harsh tone and I asked him why he was angry, (maybe he was a having a bad day). It was just one mattress we tried after all. Then he said louder, "I've been in this business for (I forget how long he said)" and he continued to yell at us as he stormed away. We were standing in the same place slack jawed at his outburst and I asked him why he was now yelling at us and he kept walking away, continuing the verbal assault. So my wife and I recently moved to Maui, and decided not to ship our bed because it was around 10 years old, and we thought it would be time for a new one. Let me start his review off at the end: my wife and I live up in the jungle (near Kahakuloa) Jayson and Dale went the extra mile and beyond to get our bed delivered to a difficult location, seriously...if you go to this location ask for Jayson or Dale. The story: To be honest I accidentally clicked an ad link on a website and saw that BedMart was having a "30% Model Year Closeout Sale". Yeah, the cynic in me said "Sure...on the cheap mattresses or the ridiculously expensive ones, not something I can afford. So we wandered in and Jayson came and greeted us. He was friendly, engaging and not at all pushy. He offered us pillows to use when laying on the mattresses and took us over to the "Sleep Match" test bed. Again my inner cynic thought surely this must be hogwash. After the test bed printed out results Jayson took us to try an couple of beds, the first one was...not bad but not right. The second was too soft. And as if I were Goldilocks herself the third bed was just right. I don't mean "this is probably okay to sleep on" I mean "Damn, I might take up sleeping as a new hobby" kind of right. Then we started to talk numbers...I'm pretty sure I broke out in a flop sweat as I saw the price of the bed, I'm one of those guys who thinks, at first, "Why should anything cost that much?!?!!" But really you spend 1/3 of your life in bed and if that bed is bad or wrong, the discomfort and back problems can bleed over into the other 2/3's in a BIG way! So my wife and I talked it over and decided to invest in our health and long term physical well-being...manifested in the form of a grown-ass adult bed. I have zero regrets, I have slept better on this bed than anything I have previously slept on, and I'm actually sleeping a full 8 hours and waking up not in pain...which starts my day off much better. I sent them back my info on the 8th and still have not heard back. I even wrote back a few days later and said they nobody has called me. Still no response. Update: corporate contacted us. They arranged for the bed to be picked up and they issued a full refund. I appreciate that. Corporate did come through in the end. I am rating the experience a 3/5 now versus 1/5 because the store experience was still not good. Service here is amazing. We had come in a couple of times before buying anything and the staff always greets you and takes time to answer any and all questions you have. We then went to get my mother a bed and Joshua was kind, patient, knowledgeable and really had her beat interest at heart. I just had my brand new bed delivered moments ago and I have to say how extremely happy I am with the entire process. From the beginning, Dale & Bill were welcoming, sincere, non-pushy-sales-kinda-guys. I felt that they genuinely took an interest in my bedding needs and provided me with all the options based on what I was looking for. The delivery gentlemen Jason and Keali'i were also very accommodating, friendly and such hard workers. I appreciated that they wrapped my old bed in plastic as to not cause any damage while taking it away. I happened to have called BedMart Kahului by accident. I recently moved to Kona, and went around to shop for beds and various locations. When I decided on the bed that I wanted, I called BedMart, and because of my recent calls got the Kahului location. Dale answered the phone, and was able to give me exactly what I wanted, at a great price. He was willing to work with my even though I wasn't on Maui anymore. My husband and I just moved and decided it was time for a new bed. We shopped around and ended up returning to MedMart. Why? Because of Dale Kreps. He is the best salesman ever and so very kind. He was very knowledgeable, he listed to us, and helped us navigage through the many choices out there in the world of mattresses and bed bases. We focused on soft and medium mattresses and decided we were ready for an electric movable base. Dale was very patient. A couple days passed before we made our final decision. We went back and ordered our bed. It was scheduled to be delivered the next day. After we didn't get a call confirming the delivery time, we called the store. Dale had several customers the day we made our purchase and he accidentally wrote down "Customer Pick-up." Wow, he was so humble and apologetic. He immediately called the delivery crew and was able to get our bed delivered the same day. He was awesome. Well, it ends up, we were not happy with the bed we got (the floor model was much softer than the one that was delivered to our home) and decided we wanted the first bed we had picked out which was over $1,000 more. I was surprised when we were told there would be an additional $150 charge for exchanging the mattress even though we were upgrading over $1,000. The store also does not have a money back guarantee policy, and If you don't like your mattress you can upgrade but not down grade. You are stuck with one of their mattresses. I have heard some things about the company and the way they treat their staff and because of that, I will not recommend BEDMART. I do recommend Dale Kreps though! He is a top not salesman's and a wonderful person...and I love our Tempur pedic mattress and electric base! read more

We had previously bought some mattresses from a Lahaina source for our rental condos. In less than two years, the mattresses were sagging and getting negative guest reviews. So let me paint you a picture: a flight delay of over 3 hours, a 2 hour wait for a rental car and then an hour to load/unload boxes left us with only 30 minutes to get a mattress to sleep on for the night. Luckily, we found Bed Mart. We walk in and are warmly greeted by Bill and Dale. Bill listened carefully to what we needed and was very understanding of our time restraint and was patient in having us try beds back and forth until we found the perfect bed! Both Bill and Dale were very polite and courteous and went above and beyond to get us that same day delivery and with all that going on before, we needed a good night's sleep! The customer service we got was beyond 5 stars with even a follow up call to make sure we loved the mattress (we did by the way). Buyer Beware I recently was convinced by Dale to purchase 2 beds from Bedmart made by Northwest Bedding. He took my credit card and charged 20% of the purchase with future delivery. After reviewing Northwest on the internet 3 hours later I found this company makes a questionable product and has bad service ratings for warranty. I called Dale the same day to cancel and he stated he would credit my card. After a week and 3 more worthless promises no credit has been received. I had to contact my credit card company to cancel this transaction. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time, buy only name brand products from nationally known suppliers who do large volumes and can give you a real warranty and quality. Also take note of the negative reviews of warranty of Bedmart and Northwest Bedding and read the fine print before buying anything from this company. read more

We just bought our second bed from Bedmart. The first was for our guest room and the second for us. Our experience has been so comfortable and relaxed. The salesmen take their time explaining each bed and answer every tedious question we have without any irritation. They make you feel that you are number one on their day. The first bed we did not have delivered however, this time we did and I wish we had the first one delivered as well because the delivery men are SO wonderful! We had our mattress delivered and we had decided we didn't like the style boxsprings we picked out. The men gladly put them back in the truck and returned them. We went in to the store and picked out a platform. They delivered it the very next morning. They assembled the whole thing for us. They were respectful, polite, and friendly. They have great communication and they are very punctual. Aside from their top notch service, their prices are more than reasonable.
