At AZ Sunset, we were scheduled quickly, our insurance was handled smoothly, and every step of the process has been timely and easy. And here's what really stood out: I removed my own braces with pliers about 15 years ago, and though several dentists since then had mentioned the leftover cement, no one offered to address it. During my deep cleaning at AZ Sunset, the dentist noticed it and simply said, "I can take care of that while I'm cleaning," and did, no extra charge. I told her I would opt out of a deep cleaning and just get my regular cleaning as I have been waiting months for an appointment. I guess that was the wrong answer for them. She told me she cant do a regular cleaning it is unethical. Sorry but what is really unethical is scheduling me for a cleaning as a new patient and not specifying that there would be a possibility that I can leave without one. If I knew of that possiblity I would have never taken the appointment. They still had the nerve to charge me. I even tried to explain that to Dr Tanner and he basically said I'm wasting his time. They just scammed me money for xrays. What a horrible experience. Would not recommend this place.

I had been putting off my loose molar and…read moreabscess for several months because my family and I had to travel across the country from NH to AZ to take care of my 94 y.o. father-in-law. My dental condition became so severe that my lower jaw started hurting and the adjacent cheek became very swollen. I was unable to eat or swallow without pain. My husband called several dental offices in the area and his calls were unanswered (these were "dental emergency" phone numbers) until Zoe answered the phone. At first, they were not able to see me, but then she called again and told us they had a cancellation that afternoon (on a Saturday). Dr. Nguyen told me I needed to have the tooth pulled at that time, but my BP was very high. Was told to go back on Monday when my blood pressure stabilized and had the deed done! Dr. Nguyen was very knowledgeable and kind. I was terrified being in a dental chair with my mouth open, hearing the scraping sound of metal against bone. Zoey helped by rubbing my shoulder during the procedure and Dr. Nguyen would stop and inject more pain medication whenever I winced. Opted to have a bone graft for a future dental implant.
