Listened to my needs and didn't try to sell me the most expensive stuff and wasn't pushy, just well-informed and helpful. He even told me to come in and pay ahead and he'd give me the Black Friday discount early. He listened when I'd told him that my back was hurting me terribly and I was waking up more tired than when I'd gone to bed. Tony, this angel of a person, offered to let me have the mattress delivered Monday (this is Friday) and didn't make me wait until after Black Friday. I'm eternally grateful to you, Tony! I purchased a very awesome marble topped dresser, an antique storage locker of which someone along the way made a wrought iron raised support for it, a very nifty little end stand, a mid-size real Italian leather couch( tags still attached to the underside informed me of this...genuine, yes ), an oval coffee table w/glass top cut to fit...made of mahogany & cherry , and a very nice and modern full size table lamp which I got for a friend of mine. I am more than pleased that I was able to give my new home the look I desired, not to mention that all of the furniture was delivered on the day and time agreed upon....still part of my $500 budget. The individual that made all this happen was truly patient with me and none the less acted professional, while caring for my particular needs, Shawn. Five mattress'. Yep folks that is all they sell - five different mattress'. All varying in comfort levels - from super soft and squishy to your standard sleeping on a board firm to a tempur-pedicesque model. All made up in their factory in Marysville. Basically just went down the row - from mattress to mattress laying down to test their support levels. Found two I liked - talked for a few minutes about the pros and cons of each - and made a decision. Within 15 minutes of arriving the mattress set had been purchased and delivery time had been arranged, and then sat chit chatting with the salesman (we think he was the owner) for about ten minutes more. After all of the slick salesmen I had encountered on my mattress safari walking into Everrest was like a breath of fresh air.

It was a local business, the prices were good and the salesperson at the factory showroom was nice and friendly (figures that he was quitting at the end of the week). We purchased a king-sized set for delivery on Monday morning. Unfortunately, the apartment we were scheduled to move into needed to have its carpet replaced so we called up Everrest to reschedule. I kept in mind the fact that they were going to relocate their factory in a few days and tried to compromise on a delivery time. Their suggested solutions? Wait over a week for the bed or put it outdoors in the narrow, grody hallway all day until we could move it inside. When I pressed for alternatives, the person suddenly became rude and irate, basically saying he would not work with me, that I had to work with him and that he would not do it "my way". I was taken aback since our conversation started out on a professional level and before I could respond, the jackhole hung up on me and effectively cancelled our order! They are never getting my business. I was hoping for some flexibility and more personalized customer service characteristic of a locally-based company. Even if their prices were great, it's not worth it if you eventually demand the money back or they don't give you the merchandise. Please, learn from my experience (and the unsatisfactory record they have with the BBB) and Everrest Nevermore. Update: The person I spoke with was the *owner* of all people. Also, I called today to check up on the status of my refund. It turns out they have no internal database and still use *paper only* to keep track of things. The lady I had originally spoken with about the refund had apparently gone home with the paperwork for that day so the person currently answering the phone had no possible way to look up or verify the transaction (actual words). And surprise, surprise, that person became rude as well. I've received messages from other Yelpers who had to call the police due to threats from the owner of this place.

This is a supremely comfortable mattress, but there are a few important things i wish i knew…read morebefore buying: 1. Unlike nearly every other mattress seller, there is no window for returns. Most mattress vendors, even online ones, offer 30 days. 2. The mattress cover is *not* removable for washing; it's not supposed to ever be washed, even in cold water, because of shrinkage. 3. If the head of the bed frame is raised a few inches on risers, the topper will slide down toward the foot and need to be hoisted back up to the top every few days. 4. The topper of the same size is somehow a few inches smaller than the mattress.

Were ready to purchase at Mattress Depot Outlet a few blocks away but decided to stop in this store as our last stop, to avoid "buyers remorse". Lee was super helpful, friendly, not pushy at all and the store is clean, well lit and looks so cozy. Not like a warehouse feeling of other mattress stores. Lee showed us the mattress we were interested in and not only price matched but gave us a mattress protector and explained the exchange policy. We were in and out within 20 minutes and it felt great supporting a family business. Tom's Family Christmas card was right there on the desk and Lee even called Tom to check in. It was an awesome experience and we are excited to get our new mattress next business day!!!

I paid a significant deposit. -Until 7/2 No communication from WallBeds Northwest until I called. Jack explained that "a worker had injured himself" and that they were catching up. -Until 8/7 WallBeds Northwest stopped returning my emails or phone calls -On 8/7 sent an email explaining that they were "a little behind" -Until 10/7 They stopped returning my emails, until I went to the store on Oct 8th when Jack explained to me that they were struggling. He said that they, "Could not give me a delivery date". I asked for a refund of my deposit, Jack explained, "we honestly do not have the money. The process of having different suppliers manufacture, another assemble and another install is not working well for us". Again, I asked for my deposit, or asked whether I should go to small claims court, Jack offered, "We have a big commercial project in the works we should give us what we need to at least partially make you whole". -Emailed on 10/8 to confirm the details and ask whether they at least had the cabinets that was ordered. No response. -10/8 file complained with BBB -10/9 Jack Schuster returned email to say that they want to refund the money, but they do not have it right now. Very disappointing because I always want to support local businesses. But my lesson learned is that if you do not have delivery within 60 days, you cannot use your credit card company to dispute the payment. If they have not delivered at 50 days, start disputing the payment.

This store is located in the heart of Ballard on Leary Ave. There is a dedicated parking lot, however I chose street parking. Their showroom features vintage, mid-century modern, and high-end furnitures. They also have a decent amount of rugs, wall accents, room dividers, and paintings, and even cocktail sets. The prices are quite reasonable and they have measuring tapes available. If shipping is an issue, they also offer delivery through Uff Da Logistics for a fee. I in search for a record stand, however didn't exactly find one that fit my style. I did score on an antique chess set with case. The staff was very friendly and even offered to open other display cases so I can take a look at other items. I'll definitely revisit this shop and see if there are any other items worth taking home.
