We are upgrading to a king size bed after sleeping on a Queen for years. We shopped around at a few places and found a mattress we loved. Were ready to purchase at Mattress Depot Outlet a few blocks away but decided to stop in this store as our last stop, to avoid "buyers remorse". Lee was super helpful, friendly, not pushy at all and the store is clean, well lit and looks so cozy. Not like a warehouse feeling of other mattress stores. Lee showed us the mattress we were interested in and not only price matched but gave us a mattress protector and explained the exchange policy. We were in and out within 20 minutes and it felt great supporting a family business. Tom's Family Christmas card was right there on the desk and Lee even called Tom to check in. Searching for and eventually finding an Extra Firm mattress turned out to be an overwhelming challenge. Gone were the days when deciding which Inner Spring Mattress to select from, either Soft, Firm or Extra Firm, because present-day mattress selections have become high tech based upon how many layers of foam, or which type of foam is best, or do I really want any foam, what type of coils and which manufacturer should I invest my money. After all, the only mattress I want to purchase is an Extra Firm mattress to lay my body upon to obtain a good night's sleep. But then I found it as my eureka moment finally appeared; the search was over. Finally, yes finally and eventually, after sitting on and lying upon, tossing and turning to simulate as best as possible as though I were home and in my own bed from one mattress to the next and so on, I knew right away the moment I flopped my body on the Beauty Rest Black L-Class Extra Firm mattress the decision was made, and to date, not once have I looked in the rear view mirror regretting my purchase. This is an overdue review. Everytime I get off the 405 freeway and onto the 520, just to the right side of the 520-onramp, I am reminded of this place and how much I love my new bed seeing the store right there at the edge of Bellevue. The owner, Tom is an great salesperson. He knows his mattresses. The store is clean, open and has a great variety. We certainly learned a lot about beds. What we loved most about Tom was that he didn't pressure us. He let us walk away with time to decide and think about the decision we were about to make. He also made the financing simple and painless. In the end, we never thought we'd walk away with a king size Tempur-Pedic mattress, but we did and at an affordable cost. There was a sale, basically a king size for the cost of a queen, but without the warantee. However, because he gave us the time to think through that decision, we were able to research online and speak with family and friends whose had their Tempur-Pedicure beds forever without ever needing the warrantee- all recommending it. And so we took the deal. Now 6-months after our purchase, the brand new bed has broken in and we have never had better sleeps until now. Delivery comes with the purchase. That was also helpful as I am not a fan of moving logistics. Thank goodness for that! They do offer to take your existing, used bed for you. But we opted to sale ours the same day the movers delivered. Like the day I bought my new Jeep, I hate large purchases and shopping. But like my Jeep experience, great customer service and down to earth people who are helpful and able to connect with you make the end result worth it, much less scary and makes you appreciate your purchase that much more. This is a nice place to look for a mattress: the space is large, cool, and clean, with many floor models on display. However, as a disabled woman, I was not happy with the customer service and will not be buying here. I have MS and spend much of my time in or on my bed. My husband and I had to keep reminding the saleswoman of this fact, and that the bed was only for me, as she continued to address mainly my husband. She asked whether I run a business from bed and I repeated that no, I'm disabled and often bedbound. Her response was "Oh, I never would have thought it to look at you. You look great." Not only is this a staggeringly rude thing to say to a disabled person, I also was using my cane and wearing a T-shirt about accessibility, so I certainly did look disabled -- and, as I replied to her, there is no shame in that!! We did mention in advance that we weren't going to be buying that day, and while I was happy to take her card, she was very pushy about taking my phone number. She wouldn't be put off with a polite refusal so I literally just had to tell her "no." At this point, when we dearly just wanted to leave, she launched into a story about the shop and how it's family owned and "we'd really like your business." I don't like the hard sell in the best situation and certainly not after everything else we experienced. I believe the store could benefit from a little sensitivity training before a woman on the larger size comes in and gets asked "When are you due?!" read more

My sleeping companion and I would highly recommend this establishment! When it was time to finally make the call and upgrade to a king size bed we did a little digging and found this locally owned store (they have three stores Bellevue, Kenmore, and Kirkland). While we had not ruled out a memory foam mattress/mattress in a box, we really wanted to find a place where we could try out some options before making any decisions. In the store, we were asked a few questions about our sleep styles and preferences. With that, the knowledgeable sales rep guided us through the store making sure we tried the beds she thought would work well for us. Funny enough, after trying some of the Tempur Pedic and memory foam beds on the floor my sleeping companion quickly realized the feeling of 'sinking in' to the bed was not going to work. (So thankfully we didn't get a bed in a box to only have to return it!). Once we picked up out our bed and bed frame we were sent off with an estimated delivery date of about a week away. Due to manufacturing delays, we did not get our bed the following week. I hate to say this didn't come as a big surprise. Having ordered furniture in the past this seems to be a common issue. Quality Sleep store and delivery staff were all very transparent, helpful, and apologetic as the delays for our bed frame stretched into week three. Each time we called they went the extra mile to find out as much detail as possible to make sure we knew what was going on, the delivery staff always showed up on time, and they even offered to throw in some additional sheets for the delays. Next time you are in the market for a mattress this is a great locally owned option! read more

The mattress buying part was okay, but the fine print was not. This is a great place if you know what bed you want and have done extensive research and do not want something cheap or looking for a return. For me I had not, and was trying to find a plan B to a craigslist mattress that hadn't worked out. I tried the bed in store, and no mention of breaking in the bed or taking like a month to mold to your body. The bed felt great I tried so I ordered it. When I got home, it was stiff as a rock. It's been a couple weeks and still...really stiff and my back hurts still even with a mattress topper i bought to try to "fix" the mattress. I had asked about the return policy before buying, and I was told if I bought a $40 mattress cover I could return it. When I think "return" I think I can probably get all my money back minus the delivery fees because that's understandable. But no, I have to pay $100 to return it: almost 1/3 of what the mattress cost me to buy, to get something that won't hurt my back, and I have to buy through same company: else more fees: "You must keep it for at least 30 days. For sanitary reasons and the ability to restock the mattress, the 60 night comfort guarantee and the ability to exchange or return the mattress is dependent upon purchasing a waterproof mattress protector from Quality Sleep on the same day as the mattress is purchased ($40). Failure to purchase a waterproof mattress protector at the time of mattress purchase disqualifies purchaser from the 60-night comfort guarantee. A 20% return stocking fee applies to returns, and home delivery fees are not refundable. In case of a one-time exchange, we will exchange it for another set of the same size, you must pay the difference in price if the item is of greater value, and the difference in price will not be refunded if the item is of lesser value. You will be charged a processing fee of $99 to exchange or return the mattress, or a processing fee equal to the amount of the original delivery fee charged for extended area delivery. There will be an additional $99 charge if you need to exchange a foundation or box spring. Stained, damaged, clearance, closeout, "AS IS", and special order products are not covered by the 60-night comfort guarantee and do not qualify for return or exchange. The manufacturer law label must be attached in the original position on the mattress to qualify for exchange or return" As much as I would love to help a local business it breaks my heart to say, the costs are way too high for someone looking for a short term thing. My advice to anyone who's just looking for a short term affordable $200-400: just buy a new one on amazon, their return policy is far more generous with actual free returns and won't break the bank. As for quality sleep: go over conditions with customers before they think they're getting a "free" return with purchase of a mattress topper. I'm really bummed I'm probably going to have to sell this on craiglist again, and then buy an amazon mattress: which I should have done in the first place: good learning experience though and I hope this review can help others with their mattress journey. read more

We drive past THREE other mattress stores to get to this store - that's how good this store is. We stopped in almost accidentally one day, looking to replace our very old Tempur-Pedic. There were a lot more options now than there used to be, and my spouse and I like very different things. Our salesman was patient, honest, and thorough. He gave us lots of time to lie down on each bed in silence so we could really get a sense of each bed. We made our decision (and agreed!) and were so happy with our experience that we brought our oldest kid back to pick a mattress too. He shops in a completely different way, and it was *still* a great experience. I particularly liked how the salesperson spoke to him directly, and without trying to wheedle him into anything. Neither of the salespeople on staff were condescending to my son either, even though he was a teenager. Even though this is a bit of a drive, the next time we need a bed, we're coming here again! read more

I am so excited to have a new store in Bellevue. I stopped by Quality Sleep last week to check it out, and do a little preview. The show room was so much better than the typical mall stores!! They had a selection of what must have been close to 50 beds ranging from economy priced to top of the line name brand mattress options. Knowing I can find great deals, have awesome customer service from employees that clearly know their product and are NOT pushy or high pressure sales makes the idea of buying a new mattress so much better. I had a really great shopping/buying experience. Lee was knowledgeable, friendly, and helped my wife and I pick out a great mattress........however, they said it would be in their warehouse in a few days and they would call when its ready for delivery. It has been 3 weeks, we called twice, and the latest from the warehouse was "a truck should be here Monday, hopefully it will be on there." I am not saying don't shop here. I am saying, if you do, it might be a good idea to confirm they have your product in their inventory. It does not seem like they have the ability to track their products and at this point who knows when we will see our new mattress. read more

Amazing store with great quality mattresses. We went to get a new mattress for my apartment and there was another customer one of the employees was helping. We looked around while she was helping him. The mattresses were all great, and we finally found one we liked. The customer service was honestly the best part about the experience. So much better than the curt reception I got at Macy's where I'd stopped first. My salesman Rob was friendly, very knowledgeable and no pressure. Be careful when you buy at this store. My mattress arrived with an awful gas smell. After 48 hours of airing out, the smell still did not go away. It made me nauseous and sick . The store manager charged me extra $100 to have a new mattress ( different brand) delivered. read more

This was the third and final mattress store we visited in our search to replace our old king bed with a new one. We found them on the web and decided to check out the store since it's a locally owned business and they advertised a lower price on the mattress we had in mind. Yvonne, the salesperson, was a pleasure to work with, pointing out the differences between the Tempur-Pedic beds and adjustable bases that we were interested in. They had a bigger selection of Tempur-Pedic beds than we had seen previously, and ended up getting a better mattress at a better price (plus pillows, a mattress cover and adjustable base). Delivery was included, and although they will take away your old mattresses if you want, we opted to take ours to a mattress recycling place in Tacoma. The two guys who delivered and installed the bed were just as friendly and professional as Yvonne and Lee, the manager who also helped us at the store. We highly recommend this place for their product selection, good prices, and customer service. The only thing that could have made this place better for us is if they'd take old mattresses to the mattress recycling place instead of sending them to the landfill. read more

I stopped by quality sleep in Bellevue today to try the new Instant Comfort Number Bed Q9 and I was so impressed! That is the most comfortable mattress I have ever laid on. The feet adjust. The head adjusts. I love that you can adjust it exactly to your body. Plus, the customer service was amazing. I tried almost all the mattresses and Tom was patient and explained the highlights of every model with a smile. He really listened to me and tried to match me to the best bed for me, not just all the most expensive one. They also have pillows, mattress covers, sheets and free delivery. It's easy to recommend a company when you have first-hand experience with them. Quality Sleep is a company that's worth recommending as I've purchased several mattresses from them. Last week I helped a family friend connect with them as she had a bad experience going it alone with one of the big mattress companies ....she felt like they wanted to close the sale after every mattress she tried. If you want the opposite experience check out Quality Sleep. They have 40-50 beds on the floor of their Bellevue location, a variety of options, including a hybrid memory foam/spring coil that my friend settled on and it was a relaxing experience with no hurry or pressure. Lots of education too...such a breath of fresh air. They delivered today as my friend emailed me a pic of her new mattress...she was excited the delivery guys set up the new bed and hauled away the old mattress too.
